  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

It was a fine, low-key Memorial Day. Had ribeye for breakfast and pizza for lunch, took a nap and watched movies.

I finished up 'The Purge: Anarchy', which was the mindless kill-fest I was looking for last night. It was fine as these movies go, but seriously flawed: A bunch of rich people in an auction to 'Purge' captured innocents for $200k, and they put these people in a contained, urban environment to hunt their prey. Predictable: take one out, get his gun, kill some more, get their guns, spread them to your fellow 'Purgees' and mayhem follows. Who the fuck thought that up?

Then a second viewing of 'To Die For'. It's been almost 30 years, so it was fresh except for the major plot points. Great movie, and Nicole Kidman was never hotter (well, maybe in 'Dead Calm'). Masterfully done, with extremely early performances by Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck. And who knew that Illeana Douglas was such a good ice-skater (I admit to always having the major hots for her)?

Then I had a first viewing of 'Solomon Kane'. I liked it a lot. Great action, a decent through-story, and it worked well - in spite of me being sort of 'fed up' with the 'sword and sorcerer' genre. A good time.
    Makes a great 'Sunday II'.

It was a busy work from home day.

Phone calls were non stop like and dealt returns. Had a call from customer that was upset with one of our products.

Later in the day I got a voice mail from a manager at company in town for a job that I recently applied for online. He is going callback me back in next 48 hrs about setting up job interview (in person). I’m interested in company as they sell tickets for sports/concerts. If I could find a negative it would be hours.

Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball.

I’m laying relaxing and will be writing.

Good luck on that! I hope it's not Ticketmaster, because they're on the Congessional Shit List.
Great to hear other things are materializing as well. Your work will provide for you.

Average. 6.5 on a scale of ten. Long chat on the phone with sis over her seventieth birthday and the joys of getting older. Then some ardent struggles trying to get Win11 installed. Reverted back to Win10 after fruitless efforts. Now I can't find my way in it since my former Win10 had a powershell installed that made Win10 look and act like Win7. Added my former SSD again in my PC and it's back to square one.

Today was damn long. But I did fucking good work. Like, I know this sounds conceited AF but I don’t care. I help people. I improve their lives. I make a difference. I am really good at my job. Too bad I hate it lol.

    Figures.

Today is my day off! I worked on a project. I cleaned my kitchen so I can mess it up again by baking lemon squares tonight. My kid loves them but I hate making them lol. I hate zesting. Little bits of lemon peel everywhere! I would even rather make my famous berry cupcakes from scratch than make these lemon squares. They’re so annoying.

But I love my kid so what can I do? ☺️

I also packaged up some earrings to mail out. And now I will relax for a bit.

    It was a busy day.

Phone calls were non stop like usual. Got made aware that I will be focal contact to train employees who will be taking over my job. This makes me want to find a job even quicker. In my opinion I feel my employer should not get the satisfaction of my knowledge to train some who I’ll never meet. It’s BS.

Received an email from second company about job interview. Appt setup for this Friday at 2:30 pm for 45 min via MS teams. I will be working from home.

Walked cherrypup around block and threw tennis ball.

I’m laying on couch and looking to play game later.

But you could put the fact you’re the trainer of these employees on your resume. It looks fab that your employer asked you to do the training. It shows they have confidence in you and your skills and professionalism.

I agree but also seen they are waiting to start training till the last moth months compared to months ago. Mgmt is a scramble in pretty much in job roles that need training.

It was fine by being uneventful - just the way I like a work day. Pretty quiet all day, so I got way ahead again in both my blogs and my fucking off.

The big challenge of the day was my plastic tub/shower liner. It's so old that the rings that hold it up are all shot, so I keep poking holes in it to hold it up, and I had to do that this morning. I got so tired of doing it that I found the brand new shower liner I bought about 5 years ago and laid it on a shelf in the bathroom. I didn't install it - I'll do it when the current 'fix' fails. I'm lazy that way.

Well, it's started very early, having woken up at 01.50. However, this was quite lucky because if I hadn't woken up, I'd have wet the bed! All sorted now though. Nite nite x x

2:39 pm? That's just weird, but I'm sure you'll be awesome! The straggler will either come through or fall to the wayside - it's all part of the flotsam and jetsam in the wake of your job hunt. Anything good will surface.

It's been pretty good. I only had minimal interaction with clients or the office, sent my back east blog for publishing and completely finished my Monday L.A. blog and then I fucked off - over 90%!

    And it's Friday Eve!

It was OK. Dealing with a stubborn problem at work. No answers yet, but we're closing in on it. I'm afraid the solution might be very expensive, though.

    It was normal day.

Phone calls were constant like usual. Last 45 min I signed out to get ready for job interview.

Around 15 min beforehand I signed into MS teams. At 2:30 pm the recruiter joined. Overall I felt the job interview went well. I answered all questions to the best of my ability and showboated my accolades over past 20 years of my career. Talked about past jobs roles and current one. Recruiter talked about 2 roles at company that are open.

In the last 15min of interview a VP joined and asked pretty much same type of questions.

Towards end of interview it felt akward. Recruiter told me I’d be sent via email 3 assessments to fill out. (One was supposed to come today but has showed up yet). If I get past those then I would have meeting with CEO and another VP. This left me stunned that company requires all this to get employed. Plus I didn’t like 401K offer (year wait).

I’m not impressed with company and not sure I will be sent assessments.

When shift ended I cleaned house then grabbed dinner at Chipotle. No walk with cherrypup since it was raining.

I’m laying on couch and deciding on my night.

Still, it's impressive that a VP joined in - it sounds like that might not be the best organized company. Still, you never know...
