So far so good for this day but it's only 1:30 pm so who knows how the rest will be not me hope all you guys days are fun.

 

It was a busy day again.

This morning I had a dental appt.

Phone calls were non stop like usual and total for the day was over 30.

Walked cherrypup around block twice.

I’m sitting on couch and will be leaving shortly for meetup at venue with band. I’m hoping it will be a better night than yesterday. Looking forward to meeting regulars and anyone new. Will get on dance floor. Might head to karaoke bar afterwards.

 

Productive disaster. Got alot of shit done, and mopping up another team's fuck up.

 

It was a busy day.

This morning started rough as I woke up 20 minute (5:50 am). It might because I got home late last night around 11:30 pm from karaoke bar. Walked dog and cleaned house afterwards.

As of work it was business as normal.

In last few hours I walked cherrypup again and went to bank.

I’m laying on couch and was chatting with niece. Will play a game in a bit.

Tomorrow I have a meetup event in the evening for Joan Jett/tribute concert. Recently I feel that I’ve been able to make my way into inner circle with recent karaoke bar events. I’m hoping it leads to bigger and better things to come. Got to meet and chat with a lot of women never done before but on closer level.

 

I capped the fuckwittery at 1400 and threatened written notices for anyone who wanted to stir shit up after 1400. For some reason my phone was never so quiet before. Maybe the new standard.

 

I got more bloodwork done today. Work was long but I didn’t work very hard lol. Ordered in dinner and hung out with the kid.

Other then that, just what has been the usual feeling of repeated Kindey punches, hoping that to will be gone soon.
If anyone tells you ageing is a blessing, kick em in the balls for me.

 

It was a good day.

Went to laundry mat to wash clothes. Got a call from my middle brother since he is in town. He invited to IHOP for breakfast with his wife, niece, nephew and family members of wife.

Afterward I headed to Walmart to go grocery shopping Later on I went back to pick up an item that was missed on visit. I also stopped by Dollar Tree to pick up somethings.

I’m being a good guy tonight and will be giving a pickleball set for free to a lady I met in the past. It’s me being me!

I’m hoping to meet new people and have a good time.

 

It's been a Long day of driving, cooking now and then some cleaning.

 

It's been great! Slept well, but still took a longer nap than usual. My only chore was cleaning my air fryer, and then I watched movies!

Finished off another viewing of 'The Four Musketeers' (it's been a while). These two 'bookend films' - The Three and then the Four are marvels from director Richard Lester (A Hard Day's Night). Entertainment at its finest - great action fused with incredible humor. Strangely, I kept thinking about Newton's Third Law of Physics during that great swordfight on an iced-over pond between D'Artagnon (Michael York) and Rochefort (Christopher Lee). Genius throughout!


Then a first viewing of 'Mission Cross' on Netflix - a well planned, shot, directed and acted South Korean action flick. South Korean filmaking has been rivaling the best Hollywood has to offer for many years, and this film is excellent, with a strong emotional core while not neglecting the action story one bit. A truly great and engaging movie.


Next was Soderbergh's 'Logan Lucky' which I may have seen before, but only snippets seemed familiar. Excellent! Great heist, with interconnecting relationships played for humor and empathy. A fabulous ride!

 

Decent. Not alot accomplished around the house. Got some work-work done. Did some online clases for work. ALOT of rain so, no lawn today.

 

The usual. Haigh expectations of people finishing chatting and they just disappear. So the usual alone and lonely.

 

Completely unproductive and perfect. I’m tired of feeling guilty because I didn’t do a hundred things on my day off. Today I did nothing! I watched movies and ate good food and had a nap. The way days off are supposed to be.

 

I've had a great Sunday so far. No chores or errands, less high temps, and some great movies, all on Prime Video.

First up, 'The Losers' - another movie I would have sworn I'd seen, but who knows? These action flicks are like popcorn - once you're done, you forget about it. A fun movie, with what I wanted - action, and it came through without the distactions of a bad script or bullshit logic. Straightforward, with a couple of twists, and I hope star Jeffrey Dean Morgan really attains the 'star status' he deserves. Quite enjoyable.


Next up was a slight 'oddity' - 'Southland Tales' by Richard Kelly, the writer/director of the piece of shit 'Donnie Darko' - but after watching a trailer, I took a shot. Very entertaining, and it's that quality that carries you through, even though Kelly's obsession with vague references that probably mean nothing to anybody but him can be annoying. At least he's learned to add 'ENTERTAINMENT VALUE' to this one, and in spite of the logic/logistics and the through-put story line, it is very entertaining, hilariously funny at times, befuddling at others. Go at your own risk.


Then I got halfway through a second viewing of 'Dante's Peak' (it's been a long time), and I took a break just after the diaster struck, so I'm looking to more gruesome death and mayhem later. I like it better than I remember.

I had a bachelor party in Tyler Texas this weekend so today was actually a good recovery and relaxing day! What did you do this weekend?!?!

 

So I rescued a fish today. It was surrendered to a local pet store and I adopted it. So I bought a tank and stuff for it and I pick it up next week.

I also made tuna casserole for dinner and watched old movies.

Walked cherrypup around block twice. Signed up for a meetup event for two weeks from this Saturday. It’s a I run pub about 30 min.

Tomorrow is an emotional day for me as somethings is coming to an end. It all led me to me to where I’m at in life.
