What possible relevance does "former Epstein lawyer" have to do with Gaetz?
      Apparently he needs a lawyer.
So, he hires one that has expertise with high profile sex crimes cause, you know, high profile case.

Your demonization is getting a bit overboard, don't you think, thinskin?

Matt Gaetz compares his alleged sex crimes to Don Lemon: 'I wouldn't even be the worst person at CNN'

    Real America's Voice/screen grab
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on Thursday lashed out at CNN host Don Lemon over criticism of the congressman's grilling of Defense Department officials.

During his Thursday night program, Lemon accused Gaetz of "grandstanding" and "trolling" with his questioning of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Gen. Mark Milley.

Gaetz reacted with anger on Thursday while speaking to Real America's Voice host Steve Bannon.

"It's quite something to listen to Don Lemon say that I'm the worst person in the world," Gaetz complained. "Donald Trump is right. Don Lemon is the dumbest man on television. If Don Lemon has one brain cell, it's playing freeze tag."

"He thinks I'm the worst person in the world?" the congressman continued. "I wouldn't even be the worst person in CNN by far. You know, he's got Jeffrey Toobin rubbing one out during a Zoom call. You've got Chris Cuomo now facing new accusations."

According to Gaetz, a lawsuit claimed that Lemon "would stick his hands down his pants and then put his fingers under the nose of male bartenders and ask them if they liked it."

"So for this man to be calling me the worst guy in the world, it shows how vapid and empty he is, how vapid and empty CNN is and frankly a mainstream media apparatus that would shill for these lying, grifter generals instead of actually being a voice for the men and women that put that interview on and express an elite level of patriotism," he concluded.

The New York Times reported earlier this year that Gaetz is allegedly being investigated for sex trafficking a 17-year-old girl.

Ex federal prosecutors say this is the kind of thing that gives a really big hint about how the investigation is going. Because if prosecutors go along with delaying sentencing it means Greenberg is still cooperating and his cooperation is paying off for investigators.

Matt Gaetz wingman seeks sentencing delay as he continues cooperating with investigators

According to a report from NBC's Tom Winter, attorneys for Joel Greenberg -- who has been linked to allegations that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) paid young women for sex -- has asked for a delay in his sentencing, claiming he still has more to offer to investigators.

In May, the former Seminole County, Fla. tax collector admitted to six criminal counts -- sex trafficking of a child, production of a false document, aggravated identity theft, wire fraud, stalking and conspiracy to commit an offense against the U.S.

That investigation drew Gaetz into the mix who is currently being investigated by both state and federal authorities.

As Winter noted on Twitter Tuesday morning, Greenberg was seeking a continuance until next year before being sentenced.

"Joel Greenberg, a former associate of Rep. Matt Gaetz has asked to delay his sentencing citing his ongoing cooperation with investigators, court documents say, as the probe into whether or not Gaetz had sex with an underage girl continues. Allegations Gaetz has denied," Winter wrote.

He later added, "His attorney, Fritz Scheller, sayst Greenberg has been cooperating with prosecutors through a series of proffers and that cooperation won't be done before his current sentencing date of November 18th. Prosecutors and Greenberg are asking for a sentencing date in March 2022."

Matt Gaetz grovels over wingman's sex crimes: 'I deeply regretted my friendship with him'

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said that he regrets his friendship with Joel Greenberg, a former Florida tax collector who has pled guilty to multiple charges including paying a minor for sex.

During an interview with WEAR on Tuesday, Gaetz responded to reports that he had been friends with Greenberg and that he had traveled with a lobbyist to the Bahamas. According to the reports, Gaetz is being investigated for the possible sex trafficking of a 17-year-old girl.

"I've never been to the Bahamas with a lobbyist," Gaetz insisted. "That's not accurate. I was on a trip as many Floridians do to go to the Bahamas. Nothing about that's criminal. I didn't do anything criminal while I was there."

"As for the optics going to a tax collectors office, I've never used the tax collectors office in Seminole County or anywhere else for anything improper," he continued. "I believe there may have been a time where Greenberg swung by the office but it certainly didn't have anything to do with any bad acts on my part."

Gaetz went on to reveal that he was no longer friends with Greenberg, who is cooperating with federal officials in the sex trafficking investigation.

"When I became aware of some of Greenberg's misdeeds, I deeply regretted my friendship with him," he explained. "I do believe that it's fair for the people of northwest Florida to judge me based on the associations that I've had. And I deeply regret my association with Joel Greenberg politically, socially and otherwise."

Gaetz added: "But when folks evaluate that, I hope they evaluate it alongside the good work that I've done to advance our military mission, to fight for our values and to be a representative in Congress who never fears the battle and is always in the arena for these great folks."

Aides would cheer up Trump by having Matt Gaetz call and tell him 'how awesome he was': Stephanie Grisham

According to Business Insider, former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham will reveal in her upcoming tell-all book that former President Donald Trump's aides would always put Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on the phone to suck up to him whenever he was depressed and needed an ego boost.

"Grisham said Trump's aides would get Gaetz on the phone to give the president pep talks or run interference on news shows," reported Eliza Relman. "'We all knew that whenever Trump needed someone to defend him on TV on anything, Gaetz was our boy,' Grisham wrote in 'I'll Take Your Questions Now.' She went on, "He would do anything for Trump and a TV hit — though not necessarily in that order. When the president needed someone to tell him how awesome he was, the staff would get Gaetz on the line and he'd sing for his supper."

Gaetz is currently under federal investigation as part of a probe into federal sex trafficking probe involving a Florida county tax official who has admitted transported a teenage girl over state lines for sex acts.

Grisham, who served as the third White House press secretary to Trump, has made a number of lurid claims in her book, including that Trump and his wife Melania didn't care at all about abuse allegations against a former staffer and that Melania believed that Grisham could order the press what to write.

Treasonous and criminal conservative/Republicans always stick together.

Victim slams Florida Republicans for refusing to expel Matt Gaetz's wingman Joel Greenberg

    Screenshot via Joel Greenberg/Twitter

The teacher stalked and attacked by former Florida tax collector Joel Greenberg is speaking out with a column in the Orlando Sentinel. Greenberg is the former wingman of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) who has pleaded guilty and continues to work with prosecutors.

Between 2017 and 2020, Greenberg was relentless in his attacks against teacher Brian Beute, a Republican who tried running against him. The school got an anonymous letter falsely saying that he had an improper relationship with a student, which led to Beute being put on leave pending an investigation by the sheriff. Beute was ultimately cleared of all charges, but in the meantime, a group of sock-puppet accounts appeared online making the same claim against Beute.

The assault began about a week after he filed to run against Greenberg and lasted for 8 months before he was finally able to clear his name.

It has been several months since Americans learned of the trial, and Beute is still furious that Greenberg was allowed to run around Florida for years without any oversight.

"While many citizens rightfully protested Greenberg's egregious behavior, instead of reprimanding their teammate, my fellow Republicans remained silent, impassive, and indifferent," wrote Beute. "During Greenberg's tenure, two governors, two attorneys general, the chief financial officer and the local State Attorney — all Republicans — stood apathetically mute (with the exception of State Attorney Phil Archer's failure to prosecute and attorney general Pam Bondi's non-binding "Informal Legal Opinion")."

He noted that each of those offices has a role in oversight and supervision of Greenberg and he specifically called out the state agencies who should have investigated. "The Florida Department of Revenue, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Seminole County Commission (with the exception of Brenda Carey) also largely stood silent."

There were many complaints from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, he said and it would have given the leaders ample opportunity to censure and expel Greenberg. Instead, there was nothing.

"The entirety of our government's failure to represent innocent people prompted the need for federal intervention. Ponder that for a moment," Beute continued. He noted that even today, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and the Seminole County group of legislators still refuse to investigate what broke down the process for leaders.

Beute makes it clear that he's a Republican but he's coming out against his own party's leadership because even with ample opportunity to act since Greenberg was arrested

"In good conscience, I simply can no longer defend my 'team' at this time," he continued. "What good is a party if it ignores principled people and instead only focuses on its own self-preservation?"

      Shooter spots a trend.
      Despicables did it with trump.
Despicables are doing it with Gaetz.

They spin and pee about someone that isn't 110% on their side alleging all manner of skulduggery and predicting horrible conclusions, you know, once the law finishes up with its very slow, wide ranging and thorough investigation.

Then almost every post is about all manner of things delivered with breathless excitement except the original vermin.

Why is that, would one suppose?

Matt Gaetz in line for leadership post if Republicans win House majority: report

    John Wright

Republicans want to investigate Hunter Biden, elevate embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and possibly impeach President Joe Biden if they recapture the House majority in 2022.

GOP lawmakers are so confident they'll win back control of the chamber that "they're already drafting their playbook for taking on the Biden administration once they've got more power on Capitol Hill," Insider reported Tuesday, adding that they "can't wait to make (the president's) life miserable."

"Insider asked some of the very Republicans poised to take charge what they'd do if American voters decide to put them back in the majority in Congress," the site reported. "Their plans: theatrical oversight hearings, investigations into Hunter Biden's art sales, and maybe even one or more Biden impeachments."

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) pledged to grill Biden's cabinet secretaries on a regular basis.

"No government agency will want to receive a letter from us," said Comer, the ranking GOP member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

Comer also suggested that the committee would spearhead investigations into Hunter Biden's international business dealings and recent art sales.

"Hunter Biden is at the top of the list," Comer said. "All I want to know is who bought that original art. And that's not being nosy, that's based upon a pattern of bad behavior for Hunter Biden."

Noting that Republicans including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have already filed articles of impeachment targeting Biden, Insider reported that the effort "could gain traction" in a GOP-led House.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who would be poised to chair the Judiciary Committee, said when asked about the prospect of impeaching Biden: "I don't know. What I do know is that he's had the worst presidency in history. It's been a complete disaster."

Jordan said recently on Gaetz's podcast that he wants the Florida Republican, who is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly sex-trafficking a minor, to chair one of the judiciary subcommittees.

    "Whichever he wants," Jordan said.

The current chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) told Insider that Jordan "frightens" him because he's "off the wall," adding that he thinks Gaetz is actually "a little more sensible."

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) predicted "chaos" if Republicans retake the majority.

"My father was superintendent of a mental institution, so I think about things like this," Cohen said.

'Insanity': Critics spooked by Matt Gaetz' 'terrifying' glimpse at future if GOP regains House majority

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) (Photo: Gage Skidmore)

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) predicted a chaotic future if Republicans regain a congressional majority.

The embattled Florida Republican, who remains under investigation for alleged sex trafficking, warned at a news conference highlighting jail conditions for Jan. 6 rioters that some of the GOP's most bombastic members would be added to the House Oversight Committee if they won a congressional majority in next year's elections.

“We are going to take power after this next election and when we do, it’s not going to be the days of Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy and no real oversight and no real subpoenas,” Gaetz said. “It’s going to be the days of Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Dr. [Paul] Gosar and myself doing everything."

    The suggestion spooked many observers.

    Nice fluff piece.
Are these what your handlers are telling you to post because they've realized their chances of holding either house of Congress in 2022 are about the same as biden being president in 2024?
Laying the foundation to let supporters down easy, is that it?
