  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

That will get you out to vote... What is it?

I wanna know what is important to the world.

For me, I can't think of anything more important than protecting the world we live and breathe in. We need to find alternatives to fossils... Both the edibles and burnable kinds... The Beef industry could stand some lean years. And Big Oil could use some competition.

    Fuck the economy...

    It's the environment.

There can never be just one topic because each one effects all of the rest. The economy effects health care and the environment and trade and incomes and all of those effect infrastructure and travel and race, and those effect religion and industry and even the internet. It is all intermingled, you cannot solve or even work on one issue without a plan for all issues.

I get your point, but we all do have things near to our hearts, and breathing for me is one of them.

Then corporate regulation and regulatory agency reform should be the top because if the regulatory agencies cannot enforce the rules making new rules does not matter, just look at what is happening right now outside of Houston at ITC.

Nothing is stopping anyone from developing something to take the place of fossil fuels.
If they can make it as cheap as fossil fuel I will be the first in line to buy it. If they want twice as much as fossil fuel then fuck them.
Not much is better than a nice slab if beef. Again, if anyone can come up with a replacement people will buy it.
Talk is cheap. Either do something or stop complaining.

How many oil companies have also gone bankrupt because they were run badly?

Dunno, a lot of them, for sure. Our best friend just got a windfall off of her Dad's wells offshore New Zealand.
Seems they were hoarding some 15 million, and about to call it their own. The family retrieved their royalties
just in time. Now she travels with us sometimes. If we could get her to shut the fuck up, might be more often.

Petroleum companies earn profits while taking tax payer money to rape customers and earn MASSIVE PROFITS while the ducking destroy the environment and leave tax payers, land owners, and the people of the future to try to fix their assaults.

Petroleum companies earn about 12% profit while investing millions and billions of dollars. They're much better these days at preserving the environment.
Ask a land owner, what the best investment. Oil and cattle, he'll tell you. The best combo ever. Stay in Spain and enjoy your grapes.

My ass. Remember loser child I did live in Texas for most of my life and oil companies are about as common as cattle. 12.2% is the average PROFIT MARGIN not the fucking profit and never takes into consideration the subsidies WE PAY FOR.

But if the world we live in is uninhabitable, then when does the individual really gain?

You seem to support the concept of unlimited wealth, but when the rich begin to hoard wealth, it becomes very limited.

    The "Uber rich?"
Yes, by God, lets take away their privilege, and make them pay their fair share. You know, for the good of the "collective".

    Here's a list of those fat greedy assholes we can start with;
    https://qz.com/1190595/the-typical-...s-richer-than-the-typical-american-household/
In 2015, the most recent year for which Quartz could access this information, the median member of the US Congress was worth at least $1.1 million. That is more than 12 times greater than the net wealth of the median US household. And that doesn’t tell the whole story, since the chambers of congress are not equal in wealth terms. The median net worth of a senator was $3.2 million, versus $900,000 for members of the House of Representatives.
But interestingly, most self made Millionaires give away their fortunes rather than let their family inherit it.
    https://www.inc.com/peter-cohan/wil...yes-if-you-make-it-yourself-give-it-away.html

Bill Gates And Warren Buffett are among over 170 other millionaires and billionaires are following in Carnegie's footsteps. These folks have signed on to "The Giving Pledge, a campaign started in 2010 by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett to encourage the wealthy to contribute a majority of their wealth to philanthropic causes. Our research suggests that this strategy has benefits not only for the recipients of that charity, but for the wealthy and their heirs as well," write Donnelly and Norton.
Now, the question becomes, how many Congresspeople give away their wealth rather than let their family inherit?
