Granted they were outlaws but the memorabilia is a part of our history and worth having a odd piece in a collection if one is into that sort of thing . I missed out on purchasing 1 of the 2 Tommy guns from the Capone era but have some fine artifacts in my collection all the same .

 

I find comments such as those a little erroneous as they only portrayed what was already there and did not veer from their reality at the time . It is not like they made that the focus of the films but were simply including fact into their project . The 2 were deeply in love so to exclude that fact would take from the authenticity of the films .
These were real people and not a work of fiction that would have allowed for creative license although there are examples of embellishment in some of the portrayals .

 

There's a prison museum in Hunstville, Texas <~60 miles North of Houston>. They have a lot of prison paraphernalia.
They have a collection of things from Bonnie and Clyde as well. It's worth a stop if you're there.

 

OK for the record Clyde Barrow was a thrice convicted felon, while at the Styles unit he was repeatedly anally raped and assaulted, he was a what modern inmates call a bitch.
Bonnie Parker was at bets a skank, she was married when she me Clyde and remained so till death. Now you should know that Clyde was "gimped" he took his own toe off to get away from being ass fucked daily by the tenders(btw back then tenders meant building tenders aka inmates that controlled other inmates).
Clyde chopped off his big toe with an aggie while on field duty to go to medical, mostly cause medical was the one place that the gangs could not rape him.

My view of Bonnie and Xlyde is easy, A whore and a dereilcit decided that reality is not their ultimate end and they opted to act as the rich do and steal.

San Bernardino attackers inspired Aussie ‘Islamic Bonnie and Clyde’

A Sydney couple who dubbed themselves the “Islamic Bonnie and Clyde’’ were allegedly inspired by a husband and wife from California, who murdered 14 people with explosives and firearms in 2015, and had been planning to commit a terror attack in Sydney, a court has heard.

Alo-Bridget Namoa and Sameh Bayda, both 20, are facing several terror-related offences, including conspiracy to do an act in preparation for a terrorist act.

They have been in custody since their arrest last year, with Ms Namoa classified as a high-risk prisoner at Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre, and Mr Bayda held at Goulburn’s Supermax jail.

The pair was united for a two-day committal hearing this week, in which crown prosecutor Nicholas Robinson QC tendered a 12-volume, 11,000-page brief of evidence to magistrate Susan Horan.

He submitted that the couple regularly exchanged love notes, saved thousands of images depicting beheadings and executions, and downloaded instructional documents on explosives and how to escape authorities after a stabbing attack.

“Their phones, laptop, and hard drive were replete with thousands of images reflecting death and destruction in the pursuit of extreme Islamic ideology,” Mr Robinson said.

A document he labelled “the stabbing document’’, found on Mr Bayda’s phone, advised on the right type of knife to choose to carry out a stabbing attack.

“It outlines how to choose the correct knife, making sure it is sharp on both sides ... light for the purpose of manipulation when attacking someone ... sharp-edged with a stabbing point and a handle which allows you to hang on to it when it is slippery with blood,” Mr Robinson said. “It is pure and simple a description of how to attack someone with the greatest opportunity of wounding or killing them.”

The court heard they referred to themselves as the “Islamic Bonnie and Clyde’’ after reading about another radicalised Muslim couple, Tashfeen Malik and Syed Rizwan Farook, who carried out a large-scale terrorist attack before being killed by police in San Bernardino in 2015.

Mr Robinson said Ms Namoa had messaged her husband saying: “I wanna do an Islamic Bonnie and Clyde version on the kafirs (nonbelievers) haha.”

A message sent by Mr Bayda allegedly read, “imagine the feeling I get, knowing that I’m going to meet Allah, injured or tortured, for his sake. I’ve never had a feeling of happiness like this hamdullah (thank God)”.

“This is a message that was deleted,” Mr Robinson said. “The inference from that is that both understood if authorities read it, it would convey what they were intending.’’

Defence barrister Geoffrey Foster accepted there was ample evidence his clients collected violent material, but said the prosecution had not provided sufficient evidence to show a connection to his clients preparing to commit a terrorist attack.

The case was listed for judgment at the end of the month.
