I used to every morning make two eggs sunny side up on toast and bacon, a plate for me , and a plate for my Beagle. ( girlfriend at work) I would cut the toast and Eggs into bite squares for both me and the Beagle. One saturday we woke up late and had a lot of shit going on and were busy doing this and that. Around noon the dog is underfoot and woof woof woof, I look down like wtf wrong with you? Dog has pissed off look, I said to GF, hey look at him, and he's still woof woof woof. She say's what? I said look at him, he's pissed off that I haven't made him his breakfast yet, hell I haven't made ours either, guess I better feed you two.

I like it, but I can only eat a little bit. I loved bacon when I was a kid once ate a big plate of it, got sick, and I could never look at it the same again.

I have not eaten bacon for years, but this thread is making me hungry for some. Unfortunately, bacon, ham, and sausage are carcinogenic, so it is not a good idea to eat too much of it too often. That is how you get stomach cancer. A friend of mine died from stomach cancer. Also, bacon is high in fat, and high in sodium. Those can get you a heart attack or a stroke. So, go easy on the bacon.

I love crispy bacon. solo or in a club sandwich and even in a bacon burger and washed down with ice cold (chocolate) milk.

I only allow myself to have a few times a year. It takes all the Self-discipline I have, not to make a glutton out of my self.

 

Bacon is one of those magical foods like cheese or butter that makes everything taste better. It is just fine in moderation, like any other food.
