I got the impression they were actually have a pretty good time insulting each other, when he apparently said something the effect of hey, you guys wanna watch me kill myself. I may have missed something but that's the impression I got.

I don't know how common it is either but I do remember about cd coming out about 5 years ago requesting "downloadable suicide."

I got the impression that the cam was setup as part of the normal chatroom features that anyone could choose to use, but I may be wrong I have never been to one.....or own a cam.

What a stupid ass! When I was younger my parents sent me to Lawarlwood, which is like an "institution" for addicts and suicidal people. I was only 15 at the time, and while I was there because I smoked too much, there were others in my group who wanted to commit suicide. I've never understood how someone can be so down on themselves that they want to take their own lives. LIFE IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! LIVE IT!!! QUIT FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD THAT ARE WORSE OFF THAN YOU ARE AND CONTINUE TO LIVE!!! I have no sympathy for suicidal people, there's no excuse to kill ANYONE, yourself or another human being. There will always be someone there for you, ALWAYS! If you'd quit thinking of how shitty your life is and start looking for them, you'd find that out. Someone will always be willing to help you through a tough time, no matter who you are. Wow, small world. You are the second person that basically lives here. I recently came from Phoenix where everything is so spread out that you drive 30 minutes to get to anything and everything.

Tell me about it. Out here in the patch we start worring about sudden weight gain. The result of trying to work in 25 extra pounds clothing. Then we go into the tunnel where its dark both going to work and going home, and it all adds up to just dark fatigue. And to top it off, when Wyoming had the second highest sucide rate in the nation for awhile, one of the biggest factors cited was the wind.

But I don't think that's the factor here. The more I hang around this thread and think about that guy I can't help but think people will do anything to show off.
