Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican's just castrating Kevin The Coward on national TV is another story that is all over the news channels and internet this morning. His pained looks are going viral and his vain attempts to get his caucus to behave are making him look like the incompetent weakling he really is.

MSNBC Gleefully Mocks Kevin McCarthy’s ‘Weakness’ at SOTU

    MSNBC
Immediately after President Joe Biden wrapped up his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, MSNBC’s post-speech analysis largely focused on ridiculing House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s “weakness” and inability to control his own caucus.

According to the network’s liberal hosts and anchors, this was “the worst possible night” for the GOP leader as it revealed that he “has no power” within his own party. And Biden “understands” that, they insisted.

Republican lawmakers repeatedly heckled and cursed at the president throughout his speech, regardless of Biden’s attempts to offer up some bipartisan olive branches. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), naturally, helped lead the charge. The fur-clad MAGA congresswoman screamed “liar” when Biden factually claimed some Republicans want to sunset Social Security and Medicare, while another lawmaker shouted “bullshit.”

At one point, McCarthy even attempted to quiet down his caucus when several members jeered Biden while blaming him for the ongoing fentanyl crisis. “It’s your fault,” one congressman shouted, prompting McCarthy to shush the heckler.

Calling it the “single most confrontational State of the Union address that we’ve ever seen,” MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell suggested that McCarthy was the night’s biggest loser, specifically due to Biden’s willingness to engage with the raucous Republicans.

“This is the worst possible night for Kevin McCarthy. The negotiation ended in that room with Marjorie Taylor Greene yelling at a president who took her on and handled it right in front of McCarthy,” O’Donnell said. “And McCarthy by the way, there is an isolated camera on McCarthy that’s going to show him saying ‘no, no, no’ every single time they did that.”

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow added that McCarthy tried desperately to hush his own members, leading O’Donnell to assert that the speaker has effectively been rendered powerless going forward.

“This is over for McCarthy,” he declared. “The year is over. He lost it right there in that moment.”

Joy Reid, for her part, proclaimed the speech as “Biden at his best” before blasting McCarthy for staying seated during several bipartisan applause moments.

“The parts where Kevin McCarthy could not stand showed his weakness in the caucus,” the ReidOut host proclaimed. “That he couldn’t stand up for democracy, for Ukraine, things that would have in the past been solid Republican issues. He could not stand up—remarkable.”

Anchor Alex Wagner was also unsparing in her commentary about the speaker and the lack of control he has over House Republicans.

“Biden understands the truth, which is McCarthy has no power in that caucus. He’s along for the ride and as much as he’s going to say, not all of you, the reality is that the madmen are running the asylum,” she observed.

“At the very end of the speech, Biden is making a sort of—in some ways, platitudes—towards what democracy means and that there is no place for political violence in America,” Wagner continued, adding: “The best Kevin McCarthy could do was applaud from his seat because… his Republican Party does not want to recognize democracy works, does not want to take subverting the will of the people off the table.”

‘Why is My Former Party So Stupid?!’ Joe Scarborough Goes OFF on Republican Behavior During Biden SOTU
    By Colby HallFeb 8th, 2023, 6:29 am
    2193 comments

Joe Scarborough was gobsmacked by the State of the Union antics on display by some Republican Congress members, asking why they are “so stupid?!”

President Joe Biden delivered a speech that seemed both designed to unify the joint member of congress but also ignites the untoward behavior of some extreme members of the GOP, which appeared to work perfectly, as the speech was marked by numerous interruptions of heckling and callbacks that evoked the British House of Commons.

Curiously, Biden appeared unphased by the verbal jousting and instead seemed energized by the backs and forth, as if he enjoyed it or even expected it.

Wednesday’s Morning Joe opened with a montage of clips of Biden calling for unity, positivity, and American optimism, interspersed with Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders blasting the left on culture wars and woke mob surrender and other familiar Republican talking points designed solely to score political points.

Coming out of the montage, Mika Brzezinski noted “very different tones last night between president Biden, mostly optimistic…” until an exasperated Scarborough held his head in hand and interjected, “Wait, wait, wait! Can’t anybody play this game? Why is my former party so stupid?!” Scarborough served as a Republican in the House of Representatives for three terms ending in 2000.

“The booing, the like…we said yesterday on the show, Republicans, he wants you to yell. He wants you to shout,” he said. “As my grandmom from Dalton, Georgia, would say, he wants you to act like you were raised in a barn. Good job. You did all of those things,” after which Brzezinksi mimicked the famous Nancy Pelosi clap that mocked former President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech.

” I swear to god — I said this a couple of weeks ago — I really do think there is a plant inside the RNC. And it is a Democrat that was planted in there somewhere, like 2013 or 2014, with the sole purpose of making Republicans the dumbest political party that’s ever existed,” Scarborough continued. “Biden didn’t even have to give a good speech last night. The Republicans, time and again, just alley-oop. Boom. Set up one jam after another.”

As I keep saying these are not the Benghazi days. Trump and treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans have changed everything since then including changing conservative/Republicans for mentally unbalanced, stupid and ignorant treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans extremists.

And the Democrats are ready willing and able to fight back this time and the majority of Americans have rejected the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican extremists at the polls in the midterms. They are onto their lying, false propaganda, and insanity.

Morning Joe gloats after GOP's Twitter probe backfires: 'Made fools of themselves again'

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough mocked House Republicans after their hearing on Twitter's content moderation blew up in their faces.

The House Oversight Committee hauled former officials from the social media platform before a hearing to investigate whether conservative voices and causes were unfairly suppressed, but the witnesses instead testified that Twitter changed its own rules to allow Donald Trump to hurl racist abuse at his political opponents.

"It's shocking, isn't it?" Scarborough said. "It is actually the opposite of what the Republicans said was happening. Again, Mika and I saw it, dealing with Twitter. Wait a second, so it is legal for a guy to accuse somebody else of murder 12 times, but it violates all of these policies. They go, yeah, well, we're looking into that. In this case, on this racist trope that fascists use, 'Go back to where you came from,' they actually stopped letting that be a banned phrase because they wanted to change the rules for Donald Trump."

"Republicans made fools of themselves again," he added. "They tried to -- it's just like the FBI. The FBI, the New York office's leaks against Hillary Clinton for two years, James Comey's letter elected Donald Trump. They're trying to say the FBI was going after Donald Trump? It's just not, and the same thing here. They keep doing these things that never turn out the way they expect."

New Dominion filings are 'worst thing for the Fox News empire in years': MSNBC host

    Rupert Murdoch (AFP)

New filings released by Dominion Voting Systems in their $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox News are a massive problem for the network, as well as for its billionaire owner Rupert Murdoch, MSNBC's Ari Melber reported on Friday.

This comes, Melber said, as Murdoch admitted in testimony that he always knew the election was legitimate, and that, when asked whether he could have removed Rudy Giuliani from the air for claiming on Fox that voting machines "can be hacked," he said, "I could have. But I didn't."

Melber played a brief clip of Giuliani pushing conspiracy theories that vote totals were changed around the country, saying, "the pattern repeats itself in a number of states."

"That is just a sampling," said Melber. "We're not going to give over too much of our air waves showing what is now evidence of defamation to the tune of $1.6 billion against Fox. Now, we told you from the beginning this was a big case. We did not know the evidence was going to be this big. We didn't know some of the hosts and executives kept committing to writing so many things that are incriminating for them. That's why it's big news."

IN OTHER NEWS: Jeb Bush's endorsement of DeSantis just backfired big time

"Now, if you followed Mr. Murdoch's career ... as a factual matter, you don't get far betting against him," said Melber. "Even when he's down or seemingly out, he finds ways to pivot, and sometimes that means throwing people under the bus. He seems ready and willing to do that here at least with his so-called executive team. Sometimes it means getting rid of famous anchors, which he did with [Lou] Dobbs and which some companies suing Fox feel is a step they knew they were going too far."

"Whether you count Mr. Murdoch out or not, what we're seeing, filing after filing, day after day, is a case where there is so much mounting evidence that if this does get to trial, that might be the worst thing for the Fox News empire and Rupert Murdoch that we've seen in years, and according to the plaintiffs, that would be a very good thing indeed for restoring some standard of truth and accountability in our polarized politics and media at a time when people are trying to literally overthrow the government, commit sedition, and kill innocent Americans in the name of lies that they often heard on Fox News."

'How craven can you get?' Fox shredded for fretting over 'stock prices' while pushing election lies

    Matthew Chapman
    February 28, 2023

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs (Fox News/screen grab)

MSNBC's Chris Hayes tore into Fox News leadership and personalities in his broadcast on Tuesday, focusing in on new revelations from the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit about what they were saying behind the scenes as they spread false information about the election.

"What is their motive in all this?" said Hayes. "Well, they're terrified of losing viewers, and that means losing money and power and status and position ... in some ways, the most revealing part of the story is the sheer abject patheticness of these people. Their cowardice, their groveling fear, a groveling fear that means they will do anything at all to keep their audience, to keep the money coming, keep the power and prestige coming."

"Rupert Murdoch made it extremely clear when he explained why Fox continues to give a platform to Mike Lindell — that's the pillow dude, the election conspiracy theorist who founded the pillow company that still advertises all over the network: 'It is not red or blue, it is green,'" said Hayes. "Mike Lindell's money is worth more to Fox than the truth. On the evening of the insurrection, in a text to his producer, Tucker Carlson laid bare the other core fear of Fox. He wrote that Donald Trump is, quote, 'a demonic force, a destroyer, but he's not going to destroy us.'"

"Now, a little context here," said Hayes. "Important to remember who Tucker Carlson is. While he comes from an almost comically privileged background, he has washed out at multiple networks, had his show canceled, had to go back to doing weekend mornings on Fox. That was tough. He is clearly terrified of failing yet again, of washing out the third cable network. And apparently willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn't happen. And we've seen this deeply pathetic fear when Mr. Brave Voice of the Everyman, Stick It to the Woke Establishment, is arguing for the firing of his junior colleague, the reporter that fact-checked that Donald Trump tweet. And what is Tucker really worried about? quote, 'The stock price is down. Not a joke.'"

"Oh, the stock price, Mr. Brave Populist, Mr. Scourge of the Establishment?" said Hayes. "I'll tell you something right now, I swear that I have never, ever in my entire life given a single second's thought to the Comcast stock price, and sure as hell never sent a text about it or demanded the firing of a colleague because the truth they were spewing might lower that stock price. My god, how craven can you get? I could only speak for myself, but that's not why I do this, not for the stock price. But as these filings make very clear, that is why Fox does what they do."

"All of these new details prove that the people of Fox are following one of the most reliable recipes for truly destructive, dangerous, crude behavior, and it's this," said Hayes. "They've got a lot of power, but they're terrified about losing it. They think it might all go away. Their status is under threat. In fact, that's kind of the core of their reactionary mind to begin with."

MSNBC is just having a field day with the Dominion revelations that Fox New knew s they were lying about there being any election fraud but deliberately kept lying to their viewers for fear of losing Trump supporters if they dared to tell the truth. Not fair and balanced but ratings over truth every time.

‘Tucker Carlson Really Hurt Himself and Fox News’: Andrew Weissmann Says Defamation Lawyers Are ‘Licking Their Chops’
    By Michael LucianoMar 7th, 2023, 7:23 pm
    392 comments

Former federal prosecutor and Mueller investigation alumnus Andrew Weissmann said Tucker Carlson jeopardized himself and Fox News with his attempt to gaslight viewers about the 2021 Capitol riot.

On Monday’s show, Carlson aired snippets of footage from the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, where Congress gathered to certify the 2020 presidential election. The Fox News host was given access to more than 40,000 hours of surveillance footage from that day by Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Carlson showed several trespassers not engaged in violence in an attempt to draw attention away from the very real violence of that day.

“The footage does not show an insurrection or a riot in progress,” Carlson alleged. “Taken as a whole, the video record does not support the claim that Jan. 6 was an insurrection. In fact, it demolishes that claim.”

Carlson also repeated the lie the 2020 election had been “unfairly conducted.”

Fox News is being sued by Dominion Voting Systems for $1.6 billion after hosts and guests on the network suggested or claimed outright the company helped rig the election. The network denies the suit has merit.
On Tuesday’s Deadline: White House on MSNBC, Weissmann reacted to Carlson’s show the previous night:

When I watched it last night, I was thinking about the in-house and outside lawyers representing Fox in the Dominion suit. And the clip you just played where they said basically, you know, “We’re not gonna comment on this because we’re in the middle of basically what could be a life and death civil suit.”

Because the amount of money here, it’s not just $1.6 billion. There’s also a potential for punitive damages and the evidence that we’ve seen so far suggests that is a lively possibility.

And so I was thinking about this decision where they say, “Well we’re not going to talk directly about that lawsuit and the voting.” But they yet have Tucker Carlson, who may very well be a witness in that trial, say things that are just as misleading and phony. And you know, I was sitting there, if I were Dominion’s lawyers, I was thinking they must’ve been licking their chops at what was being said…

    […]

And Fox News is going to be facing its reckoning in a civil case. And so, all of those are locations where facts actually matter. So that if you want to spin publicly, you can do that, but it’s going to hurt you in a court of law. And I think that Tucker Carlson really hurt himself and Fox News by saying things that are really fodder for cross-examination.

Fox News issued a statement about the suit.

“Dominion has been caught red handed using more distortions and misinformation in their PR campaign to smear FOX News and trample on free speech and freedom of the press,” it read.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Tuesday mocked the “comically preposterous” claim being pushed on the right that Silicon Valley Bank’s collapse was caused by its “wokeness.”

“Folks, we’ve got an outbreak of woke banks,” the “All In” anchor joked.

Hayes aired a montage of conservative figures — including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Fox News personalities Tucker Carlson and Jesse Watters — trying to spin the blame for SVB’s downfall on President Joe Biden, liberals and diversity policies.

MSNBC's Ari Melber posted a clip of his interview with Donald Trump's lawyer Joe Tacopina on Tuesday when he brought up the lie that Trump didn't know about the Stormy Daniels hush money payments.

Melber showed footage of Trump on a plane being asked by reporters whether he knew about the payments. Trump claimed he didn't, and Tacopina said that the comment wasn't a lie.

"That's not a lie?!" Melber exclaimed.

"That's not a lie," said Tacopina.

Melber began reading the transcript of the clip when Tacopina tried to grab the paper from the host.

"Give me that!" the lawyer said.

Melber posted a photo of the moment saying simply, "interviews."

Maddow: Other arrested politicians never tried to break the rule of law the way Trump is threatening

    Sarah K. Burris
    March 20, 2023

    Photo: Screen capture

Donald Trump spent the weekend sounding the alarm on the "witch hunt" that is after him for the hush money payments he gave to adult film star Stormy Daniels. At one point on Saturday, Trump ranted that he was to be arrested on Tuesday and that he desperately needed his supporters to show up and protest.

As of Monday afternoon, there were about five reporters per protester standing outside Trump Tower. Meanwhile, Trump's most loyal allies, like Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) were begging MAGA supporters not to enact any kind of violence.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow began her Monday show by naming the dozens of politicians over the years who have been indicted and arrested — and whose mugshots were spread across the internet.

She reminded folks about former Vice President Spiro Agnew, who in 1973 swore he would never resign. A week later, he stepped down due to an indictment.

At no point, however, did any of those arrests lead to a breakdown of the law, much less violence on the streets.

On his social media account Sunday, Trump implied that police in the NYPD wouldn't want to be involved in arresting him since he's so loyal to them.

In Georgia, the state legislature passed a bill to remove prosecutors if people don't like who they're prosecuting. Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) said that he would sign it. While it hasn't been signed yet, the legislature is already at work to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from her elected position because of who the grand jury might recommend she indict. In a previous report, Maddow called it "authoritarian."

Disgraced former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik called for law enforcement to mutiny. Law enforcement at all levels must refuse to enforce the law, he claimed, according to Maddow.

"It does not bend the Constitution, let alone break it to indict criminals for crimes, even when the alleged criminal is someone who has been elected to a very important job," she explained. "It's run-of-the-mill public corruption enforcement in this country, and we do it all the time. And there is no reason why a former president should be magically immune from the same legal system that just in the past three years has put handcuffs on at least 13 state senators, 17 state representatives, one serving congressman, one former congressman, the Delaware state auditor, the North Carolina Republican Party chair, the insurance commissioner of Georgia, too many counselors, aldermen, executives and mayors to count. It happens all the time. It really does not have to be the end of the world."

She went on to say that if anyone is telling you that an indictment of this public official is something they've never seen before and that there will be an unstoppable civil war, it's because that's what they secretly want.

"Anybody telling you that is the consequence of him being potentially indicted, well, that person may be wishing for that, but there is no reason that something like that is inevitable," said Maddow. "This is not something coming up that is extraneous to our system that we need to invent something new to contend with. The bottom line here is that prosecuting public officials and former public officials — it happens all the time in the United States of America. And it never engenders violence. And it never endangers the country, and it doesn't require our legal system to be fundamentally rethought or dismantled."

See her comments in the clip below or at the link here.

'We know he's insane': Former Trump pal claims he's 'shriveling away' as pressure mounts

During an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," regular contributor Donnie Deutsch reacted to what co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough called Donald Trump's "day of rage" on Thursday where the former president fired off multiple racist and anti-Semitic attacks at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Just hours after Trump threatened "death and destruction" if he is indicted
on misdemeanor charges of making a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, Deutsch, a former longtime friend of Trump's from his New York City days, claimed his former pal is obviously scared to death over his legal problems.

"You someone who has known Donald Trump for a long time," MSNBC Jonathan Lemire prompted. "There is reporting this week about him being arrested this week, how it will be good publicity. You know, smile for the cameras were there to be a perp walk. "

Lemire added, "This is a man who clearly, and these posts show, wants nothing to do with being charged with a crime."

READ MORE: Melania 'surrounded by people who never talk about reality' to survive Trump scandals: report

"I think for his base, they love it," Deutsch began. "I don't think he loses a lot of votes, but he certainly loses the opportunity to get back any of those independents, any of the suburban voters. And I think the Reverend [Al Sharpton] really kind of nailed in the last hour, You're really seeing -- this is a frightened man at this point."

"I'm going to use one of his terms: this is a caged animal who is backed in the corner, " he continued. "He's looking that way and he's acting that way -- and he's unhinged and it is so frightening though, when he went through those disgusting anti-Semitic racial tropes, that 'Soros-backed animal,' you might as well say dirty Jew Black animal, you might as well say those words because that is what he's saying. And the fact that other Republicans, including [Florida Gov. Ron} DeSantis, the number one challenger, does the same thing, does the Soros thing, the same 'Jew-backing' this Black man -- and one used the word 'master' -- I think that was [Rep. Elise] Stefanik and whatnot -- that's the stunning talk."

"We know Trump is insane," he added. "We know he has lost his mind, we know he's just continually, continually shriveling away."

    Poor Bragg.
    Balls in his court.
If he doesn't give his people their perp walk it's doubtful he could get invited to a birthday party.

Lawrence O’Donnell Tears Apart Jim Jordan And His Team Of 'Unprofessional Hacks'

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell ridiculed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) for being “out of moves” against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as House Republicans sought to insert themselves in the Donald Trump hush-money investigation.

Bragg’s office, said to be nearing an indictment of Trump in the Stormy Daniels case, rebuffed the demands of Jordan and other GOP House committee leaders for information about the investigation, which the Republicans called an “unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority.” Bragg’s office called the GOP demands an “unprecedented inquiry into a pending local prosecution.”

“Alvin Bragg’s reply letter to Jim Jordan is the single most humiliating letter ever received by a chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, every one of whom has known much more about the law than Jim Jordan,” said O’Donnell, who earlier called Jordan a “buffoon” for writing to the DA.

He pointed out that Jordan failed to take the bar examination after graduating law school and will face experienced New York prosecutors who did if he accepts the DA’s offer to meet with staffers to discuss information “that relates to a legitimate legislative interest.”

“The unprofessional hacks who work for Jim Jordan — including any of those who may have passed the bar exam somewhere — now have the choice to travel to New York City to be interviewed in a Manhattan district attorney’s office about what they’re up to,” O’Donnell said.

“They would be surrounded by prosecutors taking notes on everything they say. Jim Jordan is out of moves with Alvin Bragg at the end of Round 1.”

Well whatdaya know? Friday came and Friday went and there's noting but...wait till next week.

I went to Texas A&M and we never admitted to being losers. WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK! Was the battle cry. And, we've never lost a game,
we simply ran out of time! Great strategy I tell ya.

Jen Psaki's new show is on right now. And as usual she is just incredible at providing viral information in a quick paced easy to understand way using as few words as possible. And in a big change from most all other shows like this Jen is not trying to be the star. She all but disappears putting all the focus on the information.

We can assume, because stumbler is so enamored of Psaki, that she hates America.
