I have just finished reading the 19 chapters for the first time and have to say that there are few on this site to match the power and style of this presentation.

It makes me think that our Recommended Reading List needs to be organized by acclaim instead of simply showing a list of authors.

This is the second serial author that I have read this weekend (holiday week, actually) and I have been floored by the fact that I have not found them already.

I do not like the ending that we are left with but in this story as in life, there are many things that cannot be simply stated. I wish that BiStander had returned to add to the story and I hope that he is able to get these few comments that are left on his stories.

Just read your work My Neighbor Incest. I noticed that your work ended in Jan of 2010. I hope this finds you well and safe. I have found my self reading all 19 chapter almost unwilling to stop. It tells a great story, true story, fiction or some mixture in between, The message it tells of redemption and the fall into darkness is shown with care. What Joe tell Cindy about waiting is done with a respect while not being sappy. Leaving the question of who get Joseph's heart, body and soul open like you did leaves a lot to the imagination. There are 4 female in this, that has been touched by him, I do mean on a more than physical level. Three of which would be with him if he just asks and one that will forever hold him only in her heart out of love for her children. Joe who give everything his life, soul, and even his heart to protect anyone of them.
All three of the main characters, real or not, grew some or a lot. Susan still need to grow some, not age, because Joe began as a 13 yr old aged eight to nine months but grew to adult hood that some 30 yr old have yet to grew to. I know it been some time since you wrote chapter XIX I hope you get to write some more even if it not the continuation of this line.

I went to the story by mistake I read a little then went to chapter 1 to get the whole story I loved the whole series I just wish you could write more about neighbors incest........

 

Wow, I forgot all about this thread until I got an alert that someone liked a comment I made six years ago. I read through the whole thread, even the posts I'd read in 2010, and it stirred my emotions. I was quite a hack back then and cringe when I reread my stuff, but somehow it moved people and they responded. Thank you all.
It was hard to be away from the site and the friends I had made through the writing of this story. I am happy to see some of you are still here, but, unfortunately, many are gone.
While I was gone, I did some writing, but never properly finished this story. Although I am a better writer now, I am still incredibly slow at developing my prose, so don't hold your breath expecting something on My Neighbors...
If anything happens after my current project, Potential, it will be Jasmine's Beach Therapy. I have hundreds of pieces of paper that take up with Jasmine trying to find healing.
Again, thank you all for the praise, encouragement and corrections you provided during the writing of "My Neighbor's Incest," and beyond.

This is an amazing story you put together, I stayed up to about 4/5am to finish reading this all & I had to get up for work a few hours later. I feel it needs a few more chapters to really close things up, whether or not the Davis family kids find out the whole truth or not is upto you,

I wanna know if Joe is the father or not, Cindy should stay with Joe again & meet Jasmin & get involved with her, I really need to know what happens with the 3 of them. An epilogue at the end would be great just telling us how their lives all panned out afterwards.

I wanted to say that I have enjoyed your story on so many levels. I have not been able to find stories 1 nd 3. Where did you say I could find them?

 

Suddenly, today (1st August), sometime late in the day, 'My Neighbor's Incest' has disappeared from the site, all except for Part VI Revised. I was up to Part 13, and now I have no idea how to find the remaining parts of the story, and see how it all ended.

What happened?!

This is the first time I'm commenting.
This is a beautiful story and I can't get enough. You are a wonderful writer. I hope you can continue this story. Like others, I also hated some parts but it only added to the whole.

I have read some of your other stories but this is my favorite by far.
Please continue to write.
