It's a small thing, but on a lazy Saturday watching movies, I smiled when I realized that I totally missed the flick 'Godzilla: King of Monsters' - I figured I would be watching it again. I'm not sure how I could have missed this one, but I'm halfway through and having a great time watching it.

 

I got my laundry done..on my one day off!! Usually do it Sunday after job and dislike that routine..

 

For it being a lazy Saturday for me, there has been quite a bit that made me smile. The best one had to be my dog grabbing and playing with a piece of 2x4 and acting like she was in a fight for her life lol.

My nephew and sister in law finally getting the Perfect day for their Skiing trip to the Poconos! It was Sunny and Gorgeous so even the Big crowds didn't bother them and they fully enjoyed their day together on the mountain using all the new Ski gear they got at Christmas

Wild Canadian Geese! In our fenced-in area, a couple hanging around for food. But if we step out the door, they run over to us, loudly hollering, telling us how hungry they are. This gets the 50 or so others outside the fenced area to look up and come running until Reni and I have 50 or 60 loud-mouthed geese surrounding us.

 

I'm just copying and pasting what I posted in the 'How was your day' thread, but once I was a few minutes into this flick, I was smiling Big Time!

"I can't believe I keep finding these (seemingly) high profile movies that I sort of figured I'd seen.

I was thrilled to watch 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' for the first time. Excellent! I don't usually pay attention to the opening credits, so at the end I was surprised that it was directed by Ron Howard and written by (among several others) the great Lawrence Kasdan (Silverado, Body Heat, The Big Chill - all of which he also directed - among others).

We got a taste of early Han, and an origin story of the main factors that made his part of the world in the early Star Wars films. Well done - not a 'winking at the audience' exposition at all."

 

My boss was the victim of a huge power outage in the city he lives in, so I had zero interruptions today. I got a lot done! lol

 

2 things:

• My trip to the DMV took less than 30 minutes!
• The RBF I have in my new DL picture totally made me laugh!
