Waking up an hour later than my usual time. It felt good to sleep late!

 

Had a phone call from one of my Meals on Wheels recipients.

When I tried to deliver (twice), he didn’t answer the door or the phone. He’s a 92 y/o veteran and his truck was in the driveway. Got a bit worried and was going to try again later this afternoon.

Seems he had a doctor appointment that his son took him to and turned the phone off, forgetting to turn it back on when he left the doctor. I was so relieved he was ok, as he’s been having some health issues recently.

 

Guiding a client through fixing a problem on their computer. I have worked as a 'non-techie' for a Managed IT Services provider for over seven years, and I get the overflow when the office lines are busy.

This client got one of those screens that speaks - tells you your computer has been infected - blah blah blah. She couldn't close the tab, so I guided her to open task manager, find chrome, highlight it, and click 'end task'. Then she just needed to reopen Chrome (but NOT hit 'restore') and start over - she only had 3 tabs open at the time (unlike me, with two windows and over a hundred tabs).

I've gotten these, and they don't infect your computer unless you click something on their screen.

She did it, it worked, and I smiled in a very self-satisfied way. This was the second time in 7 tears that I actually solved a problem for a client.

I have a relative that does home parties for jewelry sales and she had an online party last night, and I won $100 in free jewelry in her raffle.

 

A bird landed on the railing of my balcony and didn't move no matter how close I got. Pretty cool, got see see it real up close.

 

It was this afternoon, when my sister gave me a bottle of Asda Extra Special Blond Chocolate Liqueur! : )

 

My dog (with PTSD) sleeping on the bed with me and just looking so relaxed.

 

I had a great day with @Mr.Cupcake . He took me to lunch and then bought me new shoes before we braved the grocery store together.

 

Knowing I have a stalker. I never been stalked before and I find it kind of flattering. He’s been following me around for a week or so disliking everything I post. He’s like the little school boy in your first grade class who chased the girl he liked around, and pulled her hair just to get her attention. I just never knew he liked the dick. I’m sorry, but he’s just not my type

I’m not gonna mention any names here . But if you’d like to know who it is that has a huge crush on me, just look at who’s been disliking all my posts. I’ve been here since 2009 and never got so much attention like he’s been giving me.

My mojo must be working and it must be working good on him

 

Woke up hugging my wife this morning. Didn't remember doing that last night. Felt good though.

 

Springtime is making its first appearance in the city!

Getting off of work early put a smile on my face

 

I cannot name just one. But Gracie Allen always makes me laugh in the morning.

 

My wife thanking me again for the sunglasses I surprised her with. They also surprised me Just a joke between friends ❤️

 

A few things, but I'm happy that my new computer was delivered to my PMB today. I just hope I backed up all my shit from my old computer correctly - it's been in hospice care for a little while now and it finally died... RIP.
