What I absolutly love about those A-10 videos (great video by the way) is hearing the incoming shells strike and then a couple seconds later hearing the big fart of the gun. They dont just use depleted uranium shells though. In the generic ground attack roll they have been loading high explosive dual purpose ammunition since it has a much better anti personnel effect and doesnt come with the expense or the contamination of using DU which is great for punching through armor but doesnt work well for antipersonnel stuff.

And yeah...it does send shivers down the spines of those that stand against it.

1) Saved Europe Twice WW1 and WW2
2) Encouraged freedom of expression and development for all citizens (yes, I realize it did not happen all at once)
3) created much technology that advanced knowledge and culture because of point #2 above
4) For all its flaws, it does come closer to equal opportunity than any other nation
5) and finally it is close to a democracy as defined,,,,,
