Judge lifts the suspension against Mayfield, and he can race Saturday night at Daytona...Personally, I don't think he would have taken it this far if he was guilty...Mistakes happen all the time...

I have known Jeremy at a personal level for many years. He is from Owensboro, Kentucky, the hometown of the Waltrips. He raced for many years at the 5/8 mile track in Nashville, along with Sterling Marlin, Mike Alexander, Casey Atwood and my son-in-law.

Jeremy is a class act, he has a very clean background, I think NASCAR decided to make an example of him to prove they were cracking down on drugs.

We haven't heard the last of this, if he comes out clean, NASCAR is facing a tough lawsuit.

 

If he is innocent, and I think he is, Nascar deserves a tough lawsuit...They've ruined his name...

I'm just watching practice and it looks like Reutimann and Stewart are very fast...However, at Daytona anyone can win!!!:excited:

Qualifying was rained out, again!!! This is getting old... However, there's not much they can do about the weather....

Tony Stewart "Smoke" wins at Daytona!!! I didn't get to see the whole race, darn!!! However, I have seen that last lap several times... Kyle Busch was blocking and made a huge mistake...It not only took him out, but several good drivers...Off to Chicagoland next week, see you all there...

Clint Bowyer won the Nationwide race for RCR on Friday night...

 

Martin Truex Jr. is going to drive a Toyota next year...He's going to be driving for Michael Waltrip Racing...They have made a lot of progress with their cars, and he's a good driver...He just needed to get away from EGR...Go Martin!!!

Michael will only be driving an abbreviated schedule in 2010...

 

Michael was never at the level of the King, but he might be smarter than Richard by walking away from the drivers seat before he becomes a joke.

 

It's time to go racing at Chicagoland, and Brian Vickers won the pole!!! In fact, Red Bull Racing came in second with Scott Speed(that surprised me)...Go Brian!!!

Tony Eury Jr. is back at the track...He's the crew chief for Brad Keselowski who's driving a fifth car for Hendrick...

If you're going to watch the race it's Saturday night, and I'll be home this time...:excited:

Sorry folks, NASCAR sucks.

 

Young Joey had a hell of a race car last night in the Busch (Nationwide) race. Gibbs sure knows how to pick the young talent.

 

I didn't get to see it, darn!!! I had to go out last night...He's done well in the Nationwide, and he's starting to come around in the Cup...:excited:

 

Mark Martin dominated and won the race at Chicagoland...That's so very cool!!! That was his third win this year...:excited:

I really like this line in his post race interview: "Three? I didn't think we'd get one"

 

He has a great team, at least I think so...Usually, when he doesn't finish it isn't his own fault...He's gotten caught up in a few accidents this year...
Smoke is another one that can really drive a car, I can't believe what Stewart-Hass has done this year...However, I'd like to see Mark win the Cup...He has earned it!!!

 

Particularly in the ride that "cry-baby" Kyle gave up, can you believe his behavior last night?

 

I can't believe his behavior any night he races...My heart stopped when he broke that guitar...I just don't care for his attitude...
