2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Yay, it's time to go racing in Bristol, Tenn. :excited: There have been some changes to the track, so they think it will go back to the old way of racing...Joey Logano won the pole at 19 years old...Go Joey, he's really racing pretty good this year!!!

I don't have him on my fantasy team, but I really think Jimmy Johnson is going to finally win in Bristol...Go Matt!!!:excited:

Justin Allgaier won his first Nationwide race yesterday at Bristol for the Captain(Roger Penske)...I think we're going to see a lot of this young man...He seems like a good kid... It was his first career win, how cool is that???

They had a 30 lap race for some of the older drivers yesterday, and they had a bad accident...I thouoght it would be fun to watch, but it didn't turn out that way with the accident...

BRISTOL, Tenn -- Larry Pearson, son of three-time Cup Series champion David Pearson, was airlifted to a nearby hospital after a frightening crash Saturday during a legends race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Pearson, a two-time Nationwide Series champion, was knocked unconscious after the car of Charlie Glotzbach slammed into the driver's-side door of Pearson's late model stock car in Turn 2 at the high-speed .533-mile short track. Emergency workers extricated Pearson by cutting the roll cage of his car.

According to ESPN analyst Dr. Jerry Punch, who spoke with Pearson's brothers, Ricky and Eddie Pearson, Larry Pearson regained consciousness before he was lifted out of the car on a backboard and transported by ambulance to a waiting helicopter.
Punch said the brothers described Larry Pearson as "awake and alert." Later in the evening, family members reported that Pearson remained awake and alert at Bristol Regional Medical Center and said that Pearson suffered a compound fracture to his left ankle and will undergo surgery Saturday night to repair the injury. Family members also said that Pearson has a fractured pelvis and a fractured right hand.

Through BMS spokesperson Lori Worley, hospital officials also confirmed that Glotzbach was listed as being in good condition.
David Pearson, who also was competing in the 35-lap event, withdrew from the race to visit his son in the hospital. The 71-year-old Glotzbach, clearly shaken up, walked gingerly away from his car after the accident and was taken immediately to the infield care center. After being examined there, he was also transported to a local hospital for further examination.

The 35-lap race between former NASCAR drivers, including Cale Yarborough, Dave Marcis, Harry Gant and others, was won by Rick Wilson, who passed Phil Parsons in the final laps after a long red-flag delay following the Pearson-Glotzbach incident. The legends race was not a NASCAR-sanctioned event.

I don't think he's an asshole, but I do think he is vastly overrated and full of himself.

Nepotism only works with assets, not with talent.

I feel like he thinks he is filling his daddy's boots, when everyone else thinks he is falling far back from that.
He needs to start winning before he can get all cocky.

The race was rained out in Martinsville, VA, today...When they race tomorrow Kevin Harvick will be leading them out to the green flag!!!

Speaking of Harv, Kevin won the truck race yesterday...My favorite truck driver, Hornaday, came in second...That's quite an organization they've built up at KHI...

The Nationwide Series was off this week-end...

NO, "asshole" is a good term. My wife had a visit at DEI and Jr was scheduled to meet and greet and sign autographs. Guess who didn't show?

It's sad, since the wreck in Atlanta that cost him a run at the champ a few years ago and the fire, he doesn't seem to want to drive anymore.

Just Got This E-Mail

The Largest Sport in America (and the No. 1 Way to Profit from it Right Now)
-- Nathan Slaughter
This company owns and operates 13 of the nation's premier venues for America's biggest sport. As the economy recovers, and sport fans find more dollars to spend, this company's shares could be ready for a breakout.

Nationwide, there are millions of avid fans glued to every race -- particularly the high-profile NASCAR Sprint Cup events. Last year, the Daytona 500 drew a television audience of more than 16 million. That's more than the number of people who tuned in for game three of the Phillies/Yankees World Series.

But it's not just a TV audience NASCAR pulls in; it's also the largest spectator sport in the United States.

Legions of loyal fans pack each race to capacity (Daytona is often brimming with nearly 170,000 spectators). And they wouldn't even think about straying -- any more than a Boston Red Sox fan could envision a home game somewhere other than the hallowed grounds of Fenway Park. So, longstanding NASCAR events aren't likely to be shuffled to a competitor's facility.

The popularity of these tracks forms an impenetrable barrier for International Speedway (Nasdaq: ISCA) against potential competitors. The company owns and operates 13 of the nation's premier racing venues. These tracks include the flagship Daytona International Raceway in Florida, as well as the Chicagoland Speedway and Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway.

Goes on to say buy the Stock.....

NASCAR

I have been a fan since back in the 50s! I know what Richard Petty did back then! THe only reason he won so many races was that back then they would race two times a week!! Richard Petty was the only driver who had Corporate sponsorship! he had exclusive Chrysler Corporation sponsorship! None of the other drivers had much sponsorship! Richard Petty also had STP as a sponsor and won all the races! The other drivers only got sponsors in the later 60s!
