All the videos and pictures I can find attributed to francium are mislabeled Hydrogen Fusion Bomb tests.

From a cursory search, it seems that if one could aquire a gram of francium (which is unheard of since no amount over a few atoms has ever been synthesized.) it would make a pretty big bang, if dropped into cold water.

However, the four molecule FOOF experiment was done at a temperature of only about 100 Kelvin. (about -300C) Also, if you had enough molecules of FOOF to make a gram, you'd have a much larger explosion than francium could hope for.

 

Of course to accurately compare the two you would have to compare number of molecules rather than mass as francium would have a much higher atomic mass and the energy released is directly dependent on the number of molecules present not on the mass of the materials involved. atomic mass of oxygen 16 atomic mass of Flourine 19 am of foof = 16+16+19+19 = 70. am of francium 223. 223/70= approx. 3.19. so an accurate comparison would be about 3 grams francium to 1 gram foof.

 

I'm still left with the impression that FOOF is more volatile.

 

It's entirely possible as what I've read so far in my own cursory examination is that it is the ignition of H2 produced by an alkaline metal reaction that produces the explosion, but I had to point out the technicality.

empowered. the super ditzy girl that is a super hero and shows some of the bad sides to it.



the book has an annoying amount of bondage pictures in it. I love the part in the first volume where she claimed that all the super heros were really super hot transvestites though.




That said... anyone like seinen? it sorta sucks cause I am always loosing my place or forgetting the names of the books. I like "Island" an unknown manga, not jap kind. and "Zetman"... and that one whose name I forget where the first episode of the anime made me cringe but the manga is cool---- where people die and then come back alive but are stuck in a "game" where if they don't kill people their heads get blown off. supposedly the anti hero main character will get a personality rewrite later in the series. supposedly.

 

also v.v fuck anyone who says elfen lied and FMA aren't awesome.

I just have ONE more nerdy thing to say.... read "migration to the north". It was a book original written in arabic that was written at least partically because of the author's frustration that everyone in his country was going all gaga over the colonizing british bastard.
