As nice as all those shows were, I'd have to say Batman Beyond was the best. Not only was it the most techy, but it was also the darkest

That being said, anyone here remember an old cartoon called "SwatKatz" or a relatively younger cartoon called "Megas XLR"?

That's perfect. I'm a board game/RPG/Sci-fi fan/who buys expensive replicas of fictional swords, while making fun of the people who speak Klingon while secretly being jealous that they understand what the fuck is going on in the Klingon high council.

I always wanted to play in a LARP, but never really got around to it, so I make fun of my friends in Amtgard, and my scenario paintballer friends(even though they both swear they're not LARPing). I've never written a fanfic, but I've edited the hell out of some of my friends' crappy fanfic's.

I played Pokemon when I was 17, because my other geeky friends insisted that the game was mechanically elegant, and strategically challenging. I never played against kids, but I watched a few of my friends get owned by six year olds. It actually was a fun card game, though not on the level of Netrunner or the old Decipher Star Wars CCG.

We never really did D&D but we played lots of bargain bin games just to see what they were like.

We spent weekends running marathon gaming sessions, interspersed with street football, bike rides down to the park, trips to the mall, and dimmed room viewings of whatever new sci-fi/horror/fantasy epic had most recently hit VHS.

Man... those were the days. Now, I gotta get back to work on the WEG Star Wars campaign that I'm due to run for the wife and a friend tonight. *grin* .... Now where did I put that sourcebook?...

 

I'm a weird type of nerd, I suppose. I hate anything pedantic and I can't recall doing a single homework assignment in high school but I still received the most honors and scholarships.
