Trudeau’s opportunity to welcome Islamic terrorist back to Canada

Aside from providing hours of laughter, Justin Trudeau and his party are more of a danger to Canada than some drug addled terrorist is

    3/6/18

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has not had an easy time lately. There was his disastrous trip to India that saw a convicted Sikh terrorist invited to dinner at the Canadian High Commission. Trudeau constantly changing his Indian clothing and then posing for pictures with his family not only drew chuckles from Indians but made Canada a laughingstock around the world. To illustrate how bad this really was, the Toronto Star, a left wing Liberal-loving newspaper, described the Boy Blunder’s visit as the worst foray into India since the Mongols in the 13th century.

Last week the Trudeau government brought down a budget that has no plans to reduce the deficit that has ballooned since the Liberals came into power. The budget was primarily focused on gender equality and other social justice issues that, if not so serious, would be as funny as the multitude of costumes he and his princess wife wore in India. While Trudeau, the feminist, has no concern about what happens to women in Muslim countries, his government is of the opinion all Canadian women are victims and must be treated as such.

An Ipsos poll taken last week after the India trip showed if an election was held then, the CPC would win. The Conservatives would capture 38 percent of the vote to the Liberals’ 33 percent. This is the first time since the Liberals came to power they have not been leading in the polls. Noteworthy was the comment by Ipsos’ CEO Darrell Bricker that the results had nothing to do with the opposition party; the Liberals’ loss was solely due to the party’s “self-inflicted wounds.

    Returning foreign terrorist travellers

If an American judge accepts what Abdulrahman El-Bahnasaway wants him to do, the convicted Islamic terrorist will be returning to Canada in the near future and into the welcoming arms of Justin Trudeau and his fellow Liberals.

El-Bahnasaway was 18 years of age when he was arrested while with his family in New Jersey in May 2016. He was charged and later pled guilty to conspiring to set off explosions in New York City, specifically Times Square, the subway and places where concerts were taking place. And what he did was more than just plan. El-Bahanasaway sent bomb-making materials to one of his contacts in the U.S. who turned out to be an undercover FBI agent.

El-Bahnasaway was a drug addict and has been treated for mental health problems in Kuwait where he was born, Egypt and Canada. Global News reports he had been taking drugs prescribed for those who are bi-polar and suffer from schizophrenia.

The convicted terrorist, now 20, wrote a 24-page letter to the judge saying he was sorry and explaining why he did what he did. It was the standard excuse for killing innocents; he was angry about ISIS being bombed in the Middle East resulting in the killing of innocent civilians. He decided to carry out attacks in the U.S. rather than Canada because Canada, under Trudeau, stopped participating in the bombing of ISIS targets.

El-Bahnasaway’s lawyers will be asking for a sentence of time served or a short period of further incarceration. El-Bahnasaway is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison. Other letters received by the judge indicate his family and friends will monitor him after his return to Canada and the plans are to have him get mental health and religious counselling.

Religious counselling? His background suggests while he was taking illegal drugs and bouncing in and out of mental institutions he had no particular interest in religion. After his release from one of these institutions, at the age of 17, his parents forced him go to an Islamic school. It was there he learned to hate the West and all it stands for and thought it would be a good idea to kill innocent men, women, children and babies going about their daily lives in New York City. Yet apparently Canadians will be safer after El-Bahnasaway gets religious counselling.

Although El-Bahnasaway poses a problem for Canadians he is not the major problem. The person who constitutes the major problem for Canada is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Liberals revoked a Harper-era law that would have allowed the government to strip dual citizens of their Canadian citizenship and deported them for terrorist activity. So El-Bahnasaway will be allowed to remain in Canada once he finishes his sentence. In the words of the government “A Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian.”

Trudeau refers to people like El-Bahnasaway not as terrorists but as “returning foreign terrorist travellers.” So cutesy. Not only does Trudeau think these terrorists can be rehabilitated but he thinks their return to Canadian soil is a positive. They will help prevent others from being radicalized. It’s hard to know whether El-Bahnasaway’s letter is only an attempt to get leniency from the court or if he is playing Trudeau, something even a mentally ill druggie can do quite easily. If El-Bahnasaway plays his cards right he might even get invited to dinner by Justin.

There is no doubt Trudeau loves terrorists; Islamic, Sikh and Tamil and his affection for terrorists cannot be explained as simply trolling for votes. If El-Bahnasaway can show the involvement of Canadian authorities in his arrest and prosecution he will likely wind up a multi-millionaire.

Aside from providing hours of laughter, Justin Trudeau and his party are more of a danger to Canada than some drug addled terrorist is.

El-Bahnasaway is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Richard Berman on April 9.

Trudeau compares ISIS fighters to Greek, Italian, Portuguese immigrants

    2/4/18

This was bad. Even for him.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held one of his town hall meetings. The PM is currently crisscrossing the country in an attempt to bolster his sinking popularity. While many things coming out of the mouth of the most unqualified prime minister in history are bad, this comment was particularly disgusting.

Towards the end of last year, Trudeau made it very clear he welcomes the return to Canada of Canadians who went to the Middle East to fight for the Islamic State. Gone is the law stripping dual citizens who have taken part in terrorist activities of their Canadian citizenship. Of course these people are never referred to as “terrorists” by the Liberal government. Those who have returned to Canada have been given the cutesy label of “returning foreign fighters.” Gee, they sound just like Canadian vets returning to Canada except the terrorists get much more respect and better treatment from the government than do members of the military.

In what passes for his mind, Trudeau believes these returning foreign fighters can be rehabilitated by being given hugs and hot chocolate, and he actually believes these fighters can de-radicalize others who wish to join the cause. Trudeau is incapable of understanding these “travellers” are returning to Canada not because they have seen the error of their ways but because since the election of Donald Trump, ISIS has been pretty well wiped out in Syria and Iraq. And even Trudeau’s Public Safety Minister said the chances these terrorists can be rehabilitated is “remote.” But nothing will destroy Justin’s love for these savage head choppers.

Trudeau said what?! But then this comes from someone who shows himself to be a `male feminist'. An oxymoron to real men.

YIKES: Things Aren’t Looking Good For Canada’s Justin Trudeau In Latest Polls

    4/1/18

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Is Struggling Among Canadians, With Polls Now Showing The Conservative Party Leading.

Trudeau, a very left-leaning Prime Minister, saw a massive drop in his support after his trip to India and actions on other social issues.

    The Daily Mail reports:

Justin Trudeau has seen his lead in the polls fall with his disastrous trip to India and focus on gender being blamed.

According to CBC’s poll tracker the opposition Conservative Party is now in the lead with 37.7 percent of voting intentions ahead of Trudeau’s Liberals on 33.7 percent and the left-wing New Democratic Party on 18.5 percent.

The 46-year-old Trudeau’s good looks, progressive policies and youthful quirkiness, compared to traditional politicians, saw him ride high in the polls after his unexpected win in the 2015 election.

Pollster Nik Nanos told the Washington Post Trudeau’s dip in popularity is completely ‘self-inflicted’.

Nanos also said the electorate are also beginning to tire of self-proclaimed feminist Trudeau’s focus on gender.

As Trudeau pushes towards his pro-feminist agenda, dividing his supporters, Trudeau has lost around a third of male supporters since 2015, according to Nanos.

“He’s been very gender-focused. When you focus so much on gender, it means that other voters, i.e. men, aren’t as important,” Nanos said.

In order to recover from the dwindling position, Nanos believes Prime Minister Trudeau needs to fall back on an agenda which “appeals to both men and women.”

On Twitter, Justin Trudeau isn’t the most liked either. Although, I’m sure there will be plenty of “Russian bots” to rig the election if he happens to lose.

And since he's not wasting his time around here anymore, I'm sure jpt can help JPTrue Dat improve his image and have him bounce right back to winning status. Gods can handle stuff like that.

But hey, how about that jpt and JPT? (Just figured it out as I was typing the message.)

Trudeau: ‘We will not apologize’ for valuing abortion over free speech

    4/26/18

Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has defended Canada’s new pro-abortion summer jobs grant attestation, arguing that his government’s pro-abortion values take precedence over the beliefs of program participants.

The Canada Summer Jobs program provides additional funds for groups that hire students for summer positions. It’s projected to fund almost 70,000 student jobs this summer, but this year controversy has arisen because it now requires participating organizations to sign an attestation that their “core mandate” agrees with a variety of left-wing positions, including a “right” to abortion.

Conservative lawmakers challenged Trudeau on the matter during a House of Commons question period Wednesday, the National Post reports.

“There is nobody who believes that the Prime Minister is committed to free speech when he punishes all those in this country who do not agree with his personal point of view,” Conservative leader Andrew Scheer said.

“The commitment that this government has made to stand up and defend reproductive rights and the rights of women at every single opportunity is one that sticks in their craw,” a defiant Trudeau responded. “We will not apologize for ensuring that women’s rights are protected across this country.”

Unimpressed with Trudeau’s statement, the National Post’s John Ivison responded, “We believe in free speech and advocacy, says Justin Trudeau in Question Period. Except when we don't agree with what is being advocated, he doesn't say.”

Trudeau’s government claims that the provision only refers to the actions participants engage in, and does not require them to change their beliefs. But faith-based organizations still fear it renders them ineligible.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto, for instance, says the attestation is the reason why their application for $1.1 million in summer jobs funding this year was rejected. Overall, 1,561 applications have been rejected this year, as opposed to a mere 126 in 2017.

“We would expect that the principle of freedom of speech would apply equally to all Canadians on all issues,” archdiocesan spokesman Neil MacCarthy said. “The only consistency on this file seems to be inconsistency in the way it has been communicated, interpreted and implemented.”

Even some pro-abortion members of Parliament have called the attestation a step too far. New Democratic Party MP David Christopherson said it “took away Canadians’ right to disagree with the laws that they have to obey,” while Liberal MP Scott Simms called it “an insensitive measure to those who felt strongly about this, whether they were pro-life or pro-choice.”

Simms was the only Liberal MP to vote against the attestation. Last week, Trudeau punished his dissent by revoking his chairmanship of the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans, and the post’s $11,900 salary along with it.

“Trudeau is so obsessed with ensuring that the maximum number of children are killed by abortion, that he’s prepared to slay even the conscience rights of his own MPs,” Campaign Life Coalition senior political strategist Jack Fonseca responded last week. “Shame on the Liberals.”

In January, 87 Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders signed an open letter calling on Trudeau and Employment Minister Patty Hajdu to abandon the attestation, calling it a “religious or ideological test or conditions to receiving government benefits or protection” that was incompatible with the “promise of a free and democratic society.”

Did Canada buy an oil pipeline in fear of being sued by China?

The logic to Trudeau’s action may lie in an obscure and overlooked 2014 agreement to ensure China got a pipeline built

    5/31/18

Why is Justin Trudeau buying a pipeline?

Canada’s government announced yesterday it was planning to purchase the Trans Mountain pipeline for $4.5bn. This pipeline – which transports oil from Alberta’s tar sands to the western coast of British Columbia – is at the centre of a bitter political war that shows no signs of abating.

Standing in opposition are the government of British Columbia, the environmental movement, coastal communities and many indigenous groups. Collectively, they’re alarmed about the possibilities of oil spills and exacerbating climate change.

Pressing for the pipeline is the oil industry and the governments of Canadaand Alberta – whose premier, Rachel Notley, crowed after the decision: “Pick up those tools, folks, we have a pipeline to build.”

By buying the pipeline from its current owner, Kinder Morgan, Trudeau’s government could face a price tag much larger than $4.5bn if the government wants it actually built. The Financial Post has suggested that finishing the new expansion would cost an additional $6.9bn.

Trudeau’s ferocious desire to build the pipeline at any cost seems bizarre on the face of it. Ostensibly, his government claims the pipeline is good for the Canadian economy. But the pipeline will be shipping unrefined oil – known as bitumen – to be refined in the US and Asia. This will cost oil refinery jobs in Canada, which is where most employment in the oil industry exists. Canada has been closing refineries for years now. The pipeline will only accelerate this trend.

Moreover, developing the oil sands ensures Canada will never come close to meeting its commitments to the Paris climate accord. In 2015, Trudeau promised to cut emissions dramatically: 30% from 2005 levels by 2030. But most of the oil in Alberta’s tar sands will have to stay in the ground to prevent a global warming catastrophe.

    So what’s going on?

The logic to Trudeau’s action may lie in an obscure and often overlooked agreement called the Canada-China Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (Fipa).

This agreement, ratified in 2014, was negotiated by the previous Harper government. It was passed without a vote in Parliament. Fipa, which remains in place until 2045, was signed to ensure that China got a pipeline built from Alberta to BC, among other benefits.

By then, China was already investing heavily in the oil sands. In 2009, PetroChina bought a 60% interest in two undeveloped oil sands projects, containing an estimated 5bn barrels of oil. And in 2013, the Chinese state-owned CNOOC purchased the third-largest Canadian oil and gas company, Nexen, for $15.1bn. China needs the oil to help fuel its industrial growth.

Yet this Fipa is the sort of agreement that undermines the sovereignty of nations to the benefit of private interests. Fipas are Canada’s name for bilateral investment treaties, which are frequently used by corporations around the world to challenge public policies or community decisions that interfere with their ability to make money. Canada’s first Fipa took the form of a single chapter in the North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta). Since then, Canada has paid out $160m to US corporations who challenged public decisions, including environmental policy. Canadian mining companies are using Fipas with developing countries to claim damages from community opposition to unwanted mega-projects.

In the case of the Fipa with China, it notably allows Chinese energy companies to challenge local, provincial and federal policies or laws that interfere with their “right” to make a profit from energy projects. So any environmental regulations, or halted pipelines, or First Nations land claims, could be subject to lawsuits brought by Chinese corporate interests. (Conversely, Canadian companies operating in China have the same rights to do the same thing over there.) A clause in the Fipa, called Investor State Arbitration, gives them this capacity.

“More troubling, there is no requirement in the treaty for the federal government to make public the fact of a Chinese investor’s lawsuit against Canada until an award has been issued by a tribunal,” Osgoode Hall international investment law professor Gus Van Harten has noted.

“This means that the federal government could settle the lawsuit by paying out public money before an award is issued, and we would never know.”

This is no small threat: a few years ago, a Chinese insurance company launched a $2bn arbitration claim against Belgium under a foreign investment protection treaty.

And in 2016, the energy giant TransCanada sued the US government for cancelling the Keystone XL oil pipeline. TransCanada was seeking $15bn.

Trudeau is desperate to keep China happy. In 2016, his government began negotiating a free trade agreement with China. At the time, the Globe and Mail reported, “a senior Chinese official said this will require Canadian concessions on investment restrictions and a commitment to build an energy pipeline to the coast”.

Less than a year later, Trudeau approved the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline. Talks for the free trade agreement are ongoing.

Now he has bought that pipeline, and will have to live with the political fallout, which will likely include protesters, court cases and other acts of civil disobedience. In what might be a strategy to avoid lawsuits from Chinese companies that may result in massive secret payouts, Trudeau’s government may find itself arresting Canadians.

LOL, if Canada wants a trade war, Canada will lose bit time.... Canada's GDP is about the same size as the state of Rhode Island...The US economy will keep going strong while Canada's economy will crash and burn....

The US can put a tariff on any oil you want to pipe across the US. Canadian lumber can be hit with tariffs as well. The bottom line is, Canada needs the US market of 325 million people far more than the US needs Canada's 36 million person market. As for the F35, you're lucky the US is even offering to let you use the technology.

The Canadian military is small and weak. You have no big weapon systems.

Who is Canada going to buy weapons from if you don't buy them from the US?

Oh and just so you know: The top exports of Canada are Cars ($50.1B), Crude Petroleum ($39.6B), Gold ($21.5B), Unspecified ($20.6B) and Vehicle Parts ($11.2B),

That mental retard Trudeau might want to rethink his foolishness before the Canadian economy starts circling the drain...:hilarious:

Yep American Brainwashing strikes again, hell your Pres Dump is brown nosing PRNK hoping to prove just how tough he is. USA, USA; the cry of a nation that nobody gives a damn about. What if they gave a war and nobody came, oh wait Iraq.

Canada trades with BCN and quite a few other nations that all laugh at USA. We Canucks have long wanted to cut off our water, oil, gas & other natural resources sold to you. Also we sell most of the parts you use to build your constantly bankrupt auto industry recalls.

As I have told you & 'Philadelphia silly', stop buying & drinking the snake oil your congress sells you, wake up and smell the BS you've been taught and maybe, just maybe, you can still save your country. You call Trudeau a retard and you have 'the donald' who was a better choice than the lying skank and treasonous bitch? Boy kettle not only are you a mental reject but I bet you're still trying to find Washington on the map too.

Chicago and Toronto have comparable gdp. Chicago and Switzerland have comparable gdp. Canada and the whole state of New York or Texas have comparable gdp. We would love to have a gdp like California but we are only 36 million citizens.
