  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I love how they call the Eagles for a late hit the one time they do it yet they don't call it or other obvious penalties on Chicago once. Way to call a fair game ref.

There was a time that Chicago had a rep as a dirty team. Nowadays, Philly seem to have that rep, though for the life of me I don't know why. They've never looked to me like they deserve it.

As for last night's game; I actually went to bed at a vaguely normal time for once - midnight - so I missed it. :excited:

All of Philly's teams have a target on their back and so do the fans. Hell, the whole city does in a lot of ways.

The double-standard is nothing new. It happens with the Flyers, Sixers, Eagles of course, and even did with the Phillies before this past year. A lot of people don't like the fact that such a "low" (in their retarded view) city has the nerve to demand our players play the right way and that our teams give 110% and never back down. They don't like the fact that we refuse to accept an inferior position to cities we will never be inferior to. A lot of times, the people talking the most shit are the fanbases that are notorious bandwagoners: New York, Chicago, LA, Dallas, etc etc. Most of those cities probably know deep down that if Philadelphia had never stagnated and started declining, their cities wouldn't be able to look down on us and a big part of the identity of those cities comes from looking down on other cities.

To be from the area to be misunderstood and to grow up with this double-standard. It's part of what defines us, though it shouldn't be. The only way this changes is if our teams continue to do what the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers have done and that is sign, draft, or trade for so many players that nobody has anything to say but how stacked our teams are and refs don't see the city or its people when they see our teams.

That said, Babin is a dirty player and I've always felt he got overrated this year. Coleman can be dirty though not anymore. Carcillo is obviously dirty on the Flyers, Victorino is dirty for the Phillies, though luckily the Sixers really don't have any dirty players, just one extremely immature player.

A lot of the players who get the most spotlight in our city are lazy or have attitude problems: Victorino, Babin, Carcillo, and especially Lou Williams. I've got nothing against those players as people but real Philly fans acknowledge and chastise players who pull the shit these players do. We want tough teams, not dirty, overrated, or lazy ones.

For one, teams do play other teams multiple times but those are teams that are in their own division which is twice each but they don't play the same teams twice in 2 weeks.

And what I was talking about was that teams that travel from one coast to the other will stay close that coast if their next opponent is on the same coast.

I will use the 49ers as an example. Here is their season schedule. The games in bold text are all division games. But if you look at weeks 3 and 4 they played the Bengles and the Eagles. What they had done was played the Bengles and instead of flying all the way back to the west coast to California they stayed in Ohio for the week than flew to Philadelphia.

It was easier for not only the players but also cheaper for the team to do it that way.If not all most teams do it that way.Now think of it like if there was a team in London that had to fly out this way every week.I am sure they would be doing the same thing staying over here and not fly all the way back if they had road games back to back.

    Week 1-Seattle Seahawks
    Week 2-Dallas Cowboys
    Week 3-at Cincinnati Bengles
    Week 4-at Philadelphia Eagles
    Week 5-Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Week 6-Detroit Lions
    Week 7-BYE WEEK
    Week 8-Cleveland Browns
    Week 9-at Washington Redskins
    Week 10-New York Giants
    Week 11-Arizona Cardinals
    Week 12-at Baltimore Ravens
    Week 13-St. Luis Rams
    Week 14-at Arizona Cardinals
    Week 15-Pittsburgh Steelers
    Week 16-at Seattle Seahawks
    Week 17-at St. Luis Rams

Now if the whole idea of the NFL is to start a league in the UK than I get the whole concept. If they just kept it in the UK I could see it working if the fans there really like the sport of American Football.

The Euro League was too spread apart IMO.

It was a lot less spread apart than the NFL as. You've pretty much destroyed your own argument with that.

Maybe they were.Forgive me for not knowing how big Europe is compared to the USA.

But as far as destroying the rest of my argument I don't see how.

Well I just learned something new: there cannot be a pass interference call if the offense lined up in punt formation.
