Ohhh the Panthers are down another rung...SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!

 

The Panthers have two great things going for them this season:

1) Cam Newton;

2) The Colts are even worse.

 

3-3 at the half ... which I didn't see much of thanks to another ISP screwup.

I did see Tebow complete a good pass on the first play of the game, and a couple of others dropped that should have been caught.

 

Is there another team more surprising than the 49ers this season?

 

The Colts, in the opposite direction, maybe. Nobody else has exceeded expectations as much as San Fran.


I wonder how many teams have suffered, or gained a big advantage, because of the missing offseason. You would expect it to be the teams with the most complex schemes that would suffer most for not being able to practice them.

You must be confusing the Texans with the Colts, who cannot do anything without their quarterback.

The Houston Texans have been full of injuries throughout the whole season, and that has not stopped them from having a record of 7-3. The Houston Texans will still make the playoffs this year, because they will keep winning games. Unlike the Colts, the Texans do not rely on one star player to be able to succeed. Leinart is the second string quarterback, but he has been waiting for an opportunity to show that he is still an NFL caliber quarterback. The Houston Texans will win as a team, and that is why it does not matter that Schaub is out with a foot injury.

There are a couple of things that you are forgetting about the Texans, first off we have one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, who will be returning to play against Jacksonville Jaguars, Andre Johnson. We have two of the top 10 running backs in the NFL, Arian Foster and Ben Tate. We have three players who a quarterback can rely on to get the ball to move, one being a wide receiver and the other two being tight ends; they are Kevin Walter, Owen Daniels, and Joel Dreessen. Texans have the number 1 defense in the NFL.

If you have been paying attention to this whole season to how the Houston Texans have overcome repeatedly any misfortunes that have come their way. Because the Houston Texans does not rely on one player to succeed, they succeed as a team; and they have proven this repeatedly through multiple adversities. When the Texans make the playoffs this year, you will definitely be eating crow and a whole humble pie.

 

Gotta love Denver

 

Wow, I didn't think Denver had it in them, good one guys. The AFC west is a logjamb at 4 - 5, all 3 teams one win behind Oakland. Considering that San Diego is one a 4 game losing streak and KC is on a 2 game losing streak, Denver with their 2 game winning streak is positioned nicely to challenge the division.

 

With the Chargers up against the Bears this week, I see that streak being extended to 5 games and with the Chiefs against the Pats, I see that streak going to 3 as well.

 

My Cowboys are up against the Redskins who are on a 5 game losing streak but never discount a team that is due to break out by taking them to lightly .......... unless you playing the Colts, lol. (sorry NTNC)

With Matt Schaub. They, like other similar teams need not just a solid but a Pro-Bowl QB to win games. Look at what happened to Minnesota this year (sorry Heyesey).

You know, the Broncos that surprised everyone and went to the Super Bowl the first time (Jesus; in 1977??!!?). Got their asses kicked of course, but man, was that a season!

When they finally did win the Superbowl, John Elway coulda raped the Mayors daughter and they'd a still given him keys to the city that year.

Tim Tebow could rape the mayors girlfriend, AND give her an STD and he'd still get the keys to the city.

GO BRONCOS!! I put $100 on em when I was in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago to win the superbowl, odds were 500 to 1!
