Reminds me of being sent home on the last full day of school when I was in second grade. The first grade teacher was a cruel bitch who liked to beat on kids for no reason. Well she hit my younger sister without provocation so I beat the teacher with a shoe. My parents were mad as hell at me about it until they talked with my little sister who told them why I did what I did. They then went to the school board with other parents and the teacher was fired along with the principal, the vice principal, and several members of the office staff. Apprently they all had known what was happening but did nothing about it. Until my parents had gotten with other parents to go to the school board, her abusive behavior of students had gone unreported to them.

 

I wish. That same year I saw my girlfriend's (at that age it is basically just a title) vagina when she unexplainably came out of the bathroom with her pants down.

It was a good year for me.

 

I didn't get her fired but a got a high school teacher demoted from AP to remedial english for giving out grades that she couldn't justify according to her gradebook because she didn't like me and a friend.

 

I can't really say I got all those people fired, more like my parents and some other parents did. I was just the catylist that set the events in motion. Had I not of stood up to that teacher and my parents got called in about it, odds are no one would of known what she was doing outside of the school adminstration.

 

Good for you. I hope my children never encounter such a teacher.

 

My youngest daughter had a problem with her school, granted not an abusive teacher, but they did try to hold her back a grade dispite the fact she had made nothing lower than a C on her reportcards. When asked they gave us some BS anwser but it stemmed from the fact we refuse to allow the school system to send her to a dumping ground school for students with a handicap. They knew from my reputation as a civil rights advocate that I was not one who would let something like this get swept under the rug so they admitted they messed up and transfered several people from the school as a result.

 

......on a lighter note, and keeping on the subject of schools.

Not many people know that I can eat an entire bag of the regular sized, jet puffed marshmallows in about 2 and a half minutes.
