Obama has never had any intentions of working with the GOP, Obama slams the door on any talks with the GOP, when he cant manipulate them to come his way,, which is typically the way of the fart leftist ideology.

Obama is doing everything that ''HE'' wants, and is succeeding, the GOP has NO BACKBONE, and does not want to stop Obama with his agenda, at least the establishment GOP.

Many of his actions through the executive orders loop hole, can be seen as dictatorial and akin to those taken by communist dictators of third world countries. The legislative process has been subverted frequently.

Other presidents have done it, including Republicans, and the opposition branded them as dictatorial and communistic.

On the subject of cooperation, I would have to agree that the Democrats (and the administration) have indeed cut the Republicans out of the loop on many important decisions. It is a case like the chicken and the egg.

I think the republicans are letting Obama do about everything he wants for a reason. Remember that old saying, Give him enough rope and he will hang himself.

Spot on analysis from you, I had thought the same thing on occasion, but, how and will the GOP fix what has been damaged? that is $17 TRILLION QUESTION, and all of his dictating policies, will those get fixed/reformed/vaporized in the process??

 

The GOP has no plans to change anything. It is to their advantage to let Obama do anything and to blame him for it. It isn't to their advantage to fix any of the problems he causes. We didn't get to $17 trillion just because of the democrats. They did have a big hand in the deal but the republicans have been right there with them.
If the GOP fixes all of the problems they lose their greatest weapon against the democrats.
Neither the democrats or the republicans really care about the people. They want to win. To win they have to let the other party make it as rough on the people as possible.
Then the people will want to change parties in power.

 

I truly did not expect the GOP to fix or change anything while the left still has more control, I have more concern about after that communist/dictating/leftist/socialist has finished his destructive final term

 

The GOP still won't have a good reason for fixing anything. They will have several reasons not to fix the problems.
With both parties winning is much more important that the people.

 

I sure as fuck hope you are wrong,l after thinking about it, deep down in my bowels, you may be correct,, as history has shown us,,, congress rarely fixes any wrong doings towards the people,, they only compound the issues.

We need to rid ourselves of the ''establishment'', and get some fresh faces and minds in there,, some folks that have no idea how to ''go along, to get along'' types.

 

I hope I am wrong also. I just look back over the years and see what politicians do to win an election.
We do need fresh faces but we won't get them from the democrat or republican parties.

 

The lefties can blame the GOP all they want. All they have to remember is, in 2008, the voters (and I was stupid enough back then to be one of them) gave Democrats the Oval, the Senate, and the House. And those same Democrats became drunk with power. So, in 2010, it was the voters, who took away Democrats' control of the house. It was the voters who put a stop to Obama's Euro-Socialist vision for the republic. (At least they attempted to before he started acting like a dictator.)

And....the voters just may yank the Senate away this November as well. And if any person from some foreign country doesn't like how the voters of this country cast their ballot, that's too damned bad.

I agree, we need a ''TRUE CONSERVATIVE/CONSTITUTIONAL PARTY'' not the true and present RINO party,, better known as the GOP.

 

It may well happen that way. Republicans may win it all. Look back through history and you will see the common person does not benefit from the election of either party.
If the republicans do win it all things will not get better. These are the same people who caused the problem to begin with.
We have two choices. Democrat or republican. One party did not do all of the damage to our country. It took both parties.
As long as the people continue to pick from these two groups we will continue to pick up speed toward that cliff in front of us.

His approval rating is lower than Master Bush's was at the same point in his presidency.
Please also note the fact that Congress includes both the Republican majority House and the Democratic majority Senate.
