and it is true that coal mining jobs have been on a constant decline over the last few years
automation is not a friend of miners in any field

my take on this is
if the feds took that money that they were using to subsidize and oversee the coal mining industry and use that to fund education and public works projects that promote renewable energies it would be a good plan
the issue is that that will never happen

tell me what is a carbon credit? the way i understand it is a company country or whatever buys a credit from another company country or whatever that does not produce as much Greenhouse Gas with this credit they still produce as much GHG as before but have to pay for it with the intention of someday putting in a system to lower there carbon footprint. or am i reading the information wrong?

Now if i am not reading the information wrong the buyer is still producing just as much GHG as before they are just paying someone else to use there allocation of credits to get by with it
