I'm pretty sure that when you delete the history, the drop-down menu gets deleted also.

If your parents DID find out you were on this site, what would happen? You ARE 20 after all, so it seems you could just shrug it off and say you were browsing around and came across this place. If your parents are reasonable people and not extremely hung-up about sex or religious fanatics or some such, they'll surely realize that it's natural to be curious about sexual stuff.

Ignore those people that tell you things like "you need to work on your issues" or insist that you need to move out of your parents house right away. It's not really that unreasonable to be living with your family at 20, especially if you're doing so in order to go to full time school.

It does. That being said, it's still there and can be brought back up again. If I remember correctly, the cache is still there until it's overwritten? It's been awhile. But that's more effort to go through than anybody but a forensic researcher is going to do.

Assuming they actually know, it's far more likely that they have some sort of monitoring program on that computer.

attention all, I am getting rather tired of defending myself. I did not imagine that upon creating this thread I would be insulted repeatedly and have people who have no idea what my personal life is like think they can make life altering decisions for me such as where I live. My life... GASP... isn't a little bubble of simplicity and your reccomendations are mostly annoying and ridiculous considering what you don't know about me.

This is a perfect example. My family isn't oppressive... rather they have made it known that I am a guest in their house durinng the two weeks I have in between semesters and the month we get off for christmas. I am thus expected to act like a guest and am treated like a guest.

If I installed firefox I think they would know it. Also the computer would likely need to restart, which I couldn't do. It has one of those finger recognition things. Doesn't really matter since I don't plan to go back on it and they seem to have not found this site.

xD it would matter since it was on their laptop. Thanks though. I find it rather ballsy that upon creating a "oops I might have gotten caught" thread on a sex website people get enough balls to think they can comment on my life.

Ummm Cupcake... I was not trying to be insulting, but helpful... I did not mean to imply you had installed firefox or anything on the computer with out you knowing, or that you installed anything at all. I was only trying to be helpful. I am sorry if you took my suggestion as that. I was only trying to give you a safe option to use a program without having to install anything on the computer.

Yes. Sadly apparently taking me in when I was a teenager strained my relationship with them. I wish I could rectify it but along with not having good people skills they are the opposite of me in many ways.


I have to say though there are no two people I admire more though ^.^ not many people would take in the niece of a person who was for all intentions and purposes a failure at life, cloth said person, buy said person an ipod for her graduation, ect.
Furthermore my aunt works for a company that is rather well known (ima refrain from saying which one) and my uncle is trying to become a lawyer.


:x they are both bright and very open about things.

.___. the only problem I have, aside from that we can't communicate, is that they have given me the talk 18 times. which mostly means my uncle saying "PLEASE don't get pregnant at college" "I'm not going to get pregnant" "that's what they all say".

Well I do feel for ya with the communication thing there, I know it can be a strain and a pain. Without knocking you, I can see some things from their side, they may have the talk thing with you a lot, it can be a pain in the ass, god I know it can be. We tried all through High School with my daughter, wanting to focus on good grades and such, go to college (glad you are going) we are very open and discuss everything, but alas, she came to us in February and told us she was pregnant and decided to keep it, even though she knows nothing about the guy, and she really does not even like him, he was just dick. We had everything ready to go for Art College in the fall, almost signed all the loan papers too, now that all has to be put on hold.

So not saying I side with them, but I think in their own way they care, they just have a not so tactful way of showing it. I could be wrong, in which case I will shut the hell up.

I wish you the best with it all.

Other than that I am not hurt... And hell that is water under the bridge....
