Take away the incentives for people to come here illegally.

If one is here illegally they;
Cannot hold a job
Cannot own or rent property
Cannot drive
Cannot receive free public education
Cannot receive free medical care beyond emergency care sufficient to stabilize them while they are sent back to their home country.

 

Try doing even one of the things on the list and see how much the politicians cry.
According to the law they are not supposed to do any of those things right now.
You are beginning to sound like a racist to me.

 

Some illegal immigrants , better known as career criminals are not interested in a Job, not interested to own or rent property, not interested in driving legally, not interested in a free education, not interested in receiving free healthcare.

Their only interest is remaining a career criminal.

Prisons/jails are polluted with them, and we are still paying for their illegal immigration to this country.

Your anti-incentive program is something that I fully support, have for years, yet there are always those unsavory characters.

 

Indeed, many illegal immigrants are unsavory characters and need to be run out.
The thing is, until Trump, those unsavory characters were able to stay, in some cases, for years, standing right alongside the otherwise good immigrants who would make good citizens, and probably should be made citizens.
After they address the illegal crossing of our border part.
So, yes, first take away the incentive to come here illegally in the first place.
Second, sort out the illegals here now, including DACA kids. If they will make good Americans, make them Americans. If not, send them back where they came from.
Third, make the immigration process more clear and efficient, and by GOD, make the application process start in our embassies overseas. Can't apply for immigration once you're in the US.
Fourth, require bonds for visa applicants. You know, so they don't overstay their welcome.

 

Right now the politicians are too far apart. One side wants open borders with the few remaining tax payers in the U.S. supporting the immigrants.
The other side wants to call a halt to the whole thing until we can get a handle on it.
There will not be any agreement.

 

Why, change the names around; insert Democrat where you see Republican and vice versa and you have an exact replay of Obama's first two years in office!

It has long been obvious to anyone with more than three synapses holding hands that the domination of our legislative system by a single party is detrimental to our democracy. While the holder of the Oval Office can be very helpful in setting the course and agenda of our foreign and domestic policies, it is the legislature that writes and reconciles the bills and budgets that keep it running. When a single party has control of this they invariably attempt to grab every vestige of power they can, usually resulting in overreach and locking the other party members out of any decision making process. Then when their behavior alienates their opponents to the point where cooperation becomes impossible, they cry that the other side won't join in the rubber stamping of their foolishness. What we need are more Independents, beholden to neither the Democratic nor the Republican parties who can break these deadlocks before they devolve into more idiocy.
