    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    I've been tied up with work in the mornings so I've been slacking off the past couple of days.

    For that reason I decided to go back a week in the Stu Smith program. I'm on Day 3.

    Look y'all, I know this workout is gonna seem weak compared to the Ironman/bodybuilding shit the rest of you are doing, but its intense for me. I'm battling a severe case of piriformis caused by lower-cross syndrome so that's why I'm taking it easy.

    20:00 min Elliptical Machine (2 mi / avg HR 151)
    5:00 min Stair-master (600 meters)
    5x20 Sit-ups
    5x10 Push-ups
    5x15 Back Extensions

    35g of Whey Protein

    It was about 75% WHR at that pace but I was going for a practice session at about what should be marathon pace on Sunday.

    it was nice...though I stop running and walk when I feel like my heart will burst out of my chest and then run again.. now, I feel a little pain in my legs but its cool.. I'll be running again later this evening! thanks for asking :)

    I started about 2 and a half years ago by running until I had to walk, then running again a bit. Eventually the walking stops and you just run. I coldn't get a mile done without a breather back then.

    I've done 5 Half Marathons since then and I'm doing my first full Marathon on Sunday.

    It takes time and patience and perseverence but you'll get there. Just stick with it.

    My fiance (Dracos_fantasy)and I purchased memberships to a local gym two days ago. So far we have gone twice. Unfortunately we won't be able to make it tonight because of other obligations and work.

    I am surprised at her reaction though, as she has in the past, despised routine exercise. But she really loved it, and said that it made her feel energized. Me, I think I get too much endorphin production. I just get nappy. lol

    We are both going to try really hard to keep at it.

    I'm very positive that I can keep up with my running without a break, it's just that my running schedule is not consistent. But I'm working on it and planning to have a strict schedule to follow. It feels good after every run.

    *today I just finish a 1.5km run with breaks and more than 3 km brisk walking*

    Good work! Well done. Set yourself a plan but be sure to listen to your body.

    If you are too tired to run have a break from it, just don't use that as an excuse not to run when you're OK.

    all you folks looking for a good workout..

    With spring being here I now must dig a 6' x 4' deep trench along the east of the house foundation to put in exterior insulation..that's about 20' x 6' deep of solid clay...fancy putting those great big muskles to work? Or is that just for lifting lumps of metal?

    8 hours of hard physical labour daily for about 3 weeks..
