^Not saying MAC is better but intel happens to have the fastest CPU out. So what the hell are you talking about? Didn't limit their potential, made them better. Majority of LINUX servers run Intel. Duo core and quad core, read up.

Well did he tell you what his specs are? I'm not sure that it would have anything to do with graphics. Maybe he has close to the minimum required specs for Vista? It could be a lot of things from CPU to RAM. But it is highly doubtful that it would effect the performance of your video card on such a small program. It's not like it pressing your GPU any more than on the desktop if at all. Vista obviously requires more from your system than XP does. A lot of complaints come from lower end PC users. Not saying vista is perfect, but even XP had a lot of problems when it came out.


The minimum hardware requirements for Windows XP Home Edition are:

• Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended)

• At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended)

• At least 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available space on the hard disk

I use a mac, and I have it set up so everything hides, My desktop is 1280x800 of black without windows open.

hit the print screen key, it will take a snapshot of whatever you are looking at. Then open up Word, or any photo editing program and paste it in there.

on your keybaord there is a button called "PRT SCRN" press that one
that just basically takes a picture of your desktop and then you can paste that into paint.
