You only need to be worried about precum if you ejaculate before you have sex. if you do there can still be sperm in there that can be washed out by the precum. A single urination can clean you out, leaving almost no chance of sperm still lingering. The precum does not come from the testicles. So be careful, but it's not a huge factor.

Don't think anyone has mentioned the obvious - a condom in addition to the rhythm method is virtually foolproof. If you have sex right after her period, then the new eggs have gotten to the uterus yet, thus reducing the chances. Still not zero, since tubal pregnancies can happen, but if you also use a condom, the combination should work fine. And rather than douching or washing afterward, just have her pee.
