There's times I'm just tempted to give up when I realize that stupidity and shallowness can reach instantaneous and exponential proportions in our modern age.

I'm pretty sure one or more posters have said or hinted that we should not be surprised by President Obama's committing troops to Uganda and in fact we've had troops there for years.

I was aware of that because I worked with a Marine who had been stationed there but I really never figured out what he was supposed to be doing in Africa and that's because unless he was lying for some official reason neither did he.

However, I think Talking Points Memo has a really informative article about it or at least I found it educational.

I'm beginning to be a little suspicious about the timing of President Obama's announcement he's sending "military advisers" to the Congo region.

I'm really wondering now if its just to try and subdue the LRA or is it part of a bigger plan to try and wipe out terrorist control in several areas of Africa.

I'm finding that most of all of Obama's doing's,,seems to have Soros involved in those decisions.

Even Obama's most strident defenders don't get Uganda at all, and are throwing up their hands at the mysterious ways of their Messiah. Sort of like pre-christian savages dancing rings in the dirt and praying for rain.

Is your Soros theory a stretch? I don't know. On the one hand it sounds thin. On the other hand it is the most rational explanation I have yet heard for this latest adventure.

Soros is definitely behind Occupy Wall Street. But OWS is not helping Obama. Definitely not.

That implies one of the following:


1. OWS is a Soros-originated smokescreen that has backfired on Obama;

2. Soros has his own agenda, and Obama is just an occasionally useful tool;

3. Soros does not give a damn one way or another about Obama, and is just doing his own thing.

At this point I am leaning toward #3.

If I am right, what does that make Obama? I guess it makes him a witless bird, hitching a ride on the back of a stampeding rhinoceros and laboring under the dangerous misapprehension that he is the one driving.

Back to Uganda: whether or not it is Obama's bright idea, or one of Soros's evil plots, one thing is for sure: it is backfiring on this presidency. People do not get it, at all. And nor, I suspect, does Obama.

 

Ermmmm....Would you like to tell me the difference between those two?
