You have to love this... Someone here has a signature that reads this:

    $21.03 TRILLION
    http://www.usdebtclock.org/

    And they constantly blame Obama for it... Well;

National debt tops $21 trillion for first time ever:
    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...lar21-trillion-for-first-time-ever/ar-BBKllcc

About a year ago, President Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt "over a period of eight years." But for the first time in history, the national debt surpassed $21 trillion this week, according to the U.S. Treasury.

The landmark comes shortly after Congress passed, and Mr. Trump signed, a suspension on the federal debt limit last month, allowing the government to borrow an unlimited amount of money until March 1, 2019.

When Mr. Trump took office on Jan. 20, 2017, the national debt was $19.9 trillion, according to U.S. Treasury data. Since then, the GOP-led Congress has passed a $1.5 trillion tax cut bill and a two-year spending deal which, together, are expected to drive the deficit and debt further upward. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates annual deficits could top $2.1 trillion per year in the next decade, which would send the national debt soaring even higher.

Republicans railed against the national debt level under the Obama administration, when it jumped from $10.6 trillion to $19.9 trillion, nearly doubling, but few have been as outspoken about the situation with Republicans controlling Capitol Hill and the White House. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, held up the spending bill last month on the Senate floor, blistering Republicans for doing exactly what they had criticized the Obama administration for doing.

"I ran for office because I was critical of President Obama's trillion-dollar deficits," Paul said at the time. "Now we have Republicans hand-in-hand with Democrats offering us trillion-dollar deficits."

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tennessee, called the national debt the "greatest threat to our nation" when it exceeded $20 trillion for the first time in September.

But the ever-increasing national debt isn't a frequent topic for Mr. Trump, and when it does come up, he doesn't seem too concerned. He's said he's open to eliminating the debt ceiling entirely.

No... That's the republican's way of addressing problems. To finger point. The war was what it was/is. The collapse of the economy be it banking, housing, or automotive was a result of those institutions. What is NOT however is when safeguards are put in place to prevent the WEALTHY from fucking over the average citizen, how greedy self-serving corrupt cocksuckers who are reaping the rewards and kickbacks turn around and intentionally eliminate them to go back to the old status quo. Just like the neutering of the EPA, it fucks up everything taking us back 50-years all so the few can make a quick easy profit.

      Don't be obtuse.

Well, but hold on one fucking second.
It isn't just Trump, or the Republicans, or the Democrats.
In Shooters view the robbers took over congress a long damn time ago.
      Republican and Democrat.
They quit taking care of our business and started taking care of their business.

There are no illusions about Trump in the Xcebia camp.
The man is a pompous gas bag.
      The alternative was much worse.

But to froth NOW about what Trump is doing, and ignore the last decade is obtuse.
When Trump has increased the debt as much and as fast as Obama or Bush increased it, we can talk. You know, form a conga line and chant slogans or something.

But that detracts from the real issue, which is why the fuck we continue to put up with robbers in Congress taking care of their business and ignoring ours.

The fact is that the "alternative" would have left in place protections for the environment and economy that might not, indeed probably would not have left us almost 2 trillion dollars farther in debt than we were before the election and with massive swathes of our natural resources at risk due to unrestrained mining and pollution. But you saw protecting that average citizen from the greedy, grasping and rapacious as 'worse'. Good for you.

When Reagan exploded the debt by cutting taxes for the rich while raising defense spending, his cult followers blamed a "Democratic Congress," although the Republicans had a majority in the Senate.

Trump has Republican majorities in both houses of Congress. He can't blame the increases in the national debt on the Democrats. Republicans love to cut taxes while increasing military spending. They still can't understand the contradiction between these policies.

I remember in 1992 a reporter asked Rush Limbaugh how he would balance the budget. Limbaugh said, "I would cut taxes. When tax rates are cut the economy grows, so tax receipts rise." Limbaugh was intelligent enough to know that that did not work. He also knew that his dittoheads were so credulous that they would believe anything he told them.

This is all actually very simple...

Trump since being in office has done all he can to not only eradicate the progress made in this nation over the last 50-years, yet he is deliberately, and intentionally doing everything he can to dismantle and/or fuck up our government. He is doing exactly what every enemy the U.S. has ever faced could only dream of. Worse still there are far too many citizens who have not the wherewithal to try and generate positive change, or even imagine it, so they embrace Trump in the hopes that he will burn it all down. "Why fix it when you can just fuck it up" their attitude.

America will always have its ups and downs and swing from the left to the right. That's natural and good in that hopefully one day we will have the right answers, not just what is accepted yet what is good and just, and hopefully then the vacillations will settle down. HOWEVER, that is not what Trump is doing. He is doing all that he can to destroy it, and destroy it in such a way that it is irrecoverable.

Many of you when faced with the pathetic options we had in 2016 for President tried spouting out the "lesser of two evils" response as a valid answer. Besides never being one, better to demand that alternatives be made available, I point blank posed that if that was your logic then you needed to look at who would make changes that could be fixed in the future, and who would make changes that were irreparable.

You all chose the latter... Thought it was funny, like some joke that you could laugh at, yet now it is becoming real.

So let me pose another thought for you to consider...

The Soviets/Communists could not out dollar us under their old flawed systems. So after Soviet Afghanistan, they had a solution, in fact, the greatest political and military tactic ever. "We surrender, you won, you were right, we give up, help us to change our ways."

So we do so... Their criminals flood our land reaping billions and reaping havoc. In their lands investments are made, China oddly out of the blue shifts from control over the people to make a buck, the Russians also start to make money (yet naturally only the old leaders), and the Eastern Block falls... and then starts getting rich all while gaining control (you know, like that Pan Pacific deal Trump gave away?).

So now in the span of 30-years the Chinese dominate the world's economy, Russia builds back up it's financial reserves, they place more people here than they could have ever dreamed of, and we institute controls over the population, our own, like the KGB could have only dreamed of.

So, that is what HAPPENED... Now consider this scenario...

What if they could get a puppet in the highest office in the U.S.? What if he dismantled our government? What if he gave them the keys to the kingdom, insured their financial longevity, and control over our citizens through coercive AND observation means? What if when it became so obvious that the fools of this nation refused to listen or pay attention?

And what if when he was looking at being exposed, out of the blue a 68 year old enemy suddenly said "because of you ass-clown puppet, we give up too?"

I bet you'll say that person is a hero...

You people have no idea what you have done. They win.

Shooter will defend the environment as rabidly as almost anyone. The reality is, Obama gave absolute power to the EPA and they were corrupted by it. Trump is reigning that in.

When a Wyoming rancher builds a legally permitted and authorized pond, and the EPA can then step in and threaten to bankrupt him because they can, it's time to stand and defend against that kind of bullshit.
Long before Obama the EPA looked the other way while the ranching and farming interests in Southern Colorado shanghaied one of the last free flowing rivers in the state because they wanted to grow more fucking alfalfa.

Shooter watched it happen. State interests were tossed aside because the Federal Fuckers were paid off.

There's a move afoot to give state control over many of the "National Treasures" and Shooter is all for it. At least, he can get his hands on the robbers much easier in this state than he can on the federal level.

    And as for the economy?
Shooter just checked his retirement account balances. What was the question again?

You are just so absolutely full of shit shootersa I can smell you from here. The EPA does absolutely have to step in and protect waterways from so called "farmers and ranchers." And not just to protect waterways from pollution which stock ponds can do. But more importantly to keep these so called farmers and ranchers from completely daming up streams and rivers and killing all the fish and wildlife. And you really need to be careful who you are calling farmers and ranchers in Wyoming because a lot of them are just millionaires and billionaires that buy up farms and ranches as tax shelters and try to run over everyone else rough shod just because they can.

And if I ever see you trying to claim you care about the environment again after this piece of shit false right with propaganda I will laugh in your phony face.

Oh yes, the EPA did a fine job of defending waterways from pollution in this case.
News flash Stumbles; private land owners cannot, without permission from the Federal Government, including the EPA, dam up any stream. That privilege rests exclusively with the Government. And he's seen how politics very happily puts the environment in the trunk when there's money to be made.
The EPA protector of our environment?
    Bullshit.
    Bullfuckingshit.

And Shooter has done more advocating for and protecting the environment in one day than your sorry, bloviating ass has done in a lifetime. So laugh on General.

Government spending as percentage of GDP down

Current U.S. government spending is $4.407 trillion. That's the federal budget for fiscal year 2019 (October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2019). It's 21 percent of gross domestic product .

Before the recession , the government kept federal spending below 20 percent of GDP. It grew no faster than the economy. On average, growth was 2 - 3 percent per year. During the recession, spending grew to a record 24.3 percent of GDP in FY 2012 .

As you so eloquently claimed ina previous thread, Obama was POTUS during that 2012 budget, so in short..''And they constantly blame Obama for it...''

    WELL, what say you ....NOW?

Now just look at what a stupid contradiction you just posted. Its just fucking laughable. This whole case was based on the fact this so called rancher was diverting a stream and creating a stock pond which do pollute streams without even bothering to seek permission. Which is actually a very serious problem out here in the west.

And here again just take a look at your stupid and glaring contradiction. This whole case was based on the fact this one individual diverted a stream and created a stock pond without getting permission from Federal Government. And it wasn't even his water. It is OUR WATER. And the pollution he creates with his stock pond flows into that stream and then a creek and then a river.

Also since all you do is live in your own little fact free bubble where reality cannot be allowed to penetrate lest it burst you of course would not know or deny if you did that damming, diverting, and ditching streams and creeks in the west, and especially Wy0ming, is still a huge and fairly common problem where farmers, ranchers, oil and gas companies, and mines try to do it all the time because the state will turn a blind eye and let them get away with it even in cases where they are essentially dumping waste water into water ways. And so the only protection against that is the EPA. Which thanks to Trump has now been gutted. As has the Interior Department so its now a pollution free for all.

And here again just look at how this glaring and stupid contradiction is totally detached from reality. Who puts the environment in the trunk if there's money to be made. Oil and gas companies, miners, and some farmers and ranchers. The whole fucking state will sell out the environment in a New York second if there's money to be made. And now thanks to Trump and his appointees selling out the environment has just gone wholesale.

Then who is the protector of the environment shootersa? I'll bet the viable answer to that question does not exist inside your little plastic bubble.

Now shootersa this is just another one of your little plastic bubble delusions and I will prove that right here. You support and his administration and they are the most rabid anti environmentalists since before Nixon. If you gave one shit about the environment you would be op0posed to coal fired generators, drilling and fracking in water sheds and ranchers making their own stock ponds without federal approval. And you would also believe the science of global warming/climate change. So when you try to claim you care about the environment you are just lying to yourself.

And here's my environmental resume and then you post yours and we will compare to see who the bloviator is.

1971-Started locally when our town's overloaded sewer pond was essentially dump raw sewage into the lake. Quickly learned that was only the tip of the iceberg compared to other sewage problems around the county, pollution from oil and gas ponds and drilling and uranium tailings spreading radioactivity into streams and rivers. With problems also being created by individuals and even towns just dumping all their trash over creek banks. And it took more than 10 fucking years, for the EPA, and other Federal agencies to come in and make the towns, counties, and states to address those problems and gave them the money to actually fix them.

1980-1985-Started working on Wyoming Instream Flow Ballot initiatives. Where we were trying to stop farmers and ranchers and oil and gas companies and mining companies from damming diverting and ditching waterways. And when I say worked I don't mean just sitting around running my mouth. It was more than 5 years of meetings, public forums, organizing, and doing the leg work of getting registered voters to sign our petitions to get the Instream Flow on the ballot.

I will have finish the later
