You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Illinois is grappling with a full-fledged financial crisis and not even the lottery is safe – with Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner warning the state is entering "banana republic" territory.

Facing billions in unpaid bills and pension obligations, the state is hitting a cash crunch that is rare even by Illinois standards.

A top financial official just warned 100 percent of the state's monthly revenue will be eaten up by court-ordered payments. Rauner is calling a special session of the Democrat-led General Assembly in a bid to pass what he hopes will be the first full budget package in almost three years

Rauner is a joke. He is like a little child who says "It's my rules, or I'm taking my toys and going home". He has done nothing but make the problems worse.

      Rauner?
You mean the Governor of Illinois since January 2015?
When is it the budget went in the toilet in Illinois?

Learn a little before you speak. Rauner has refused to sign any budget unless it is his. He wants to cut everything and give tax cuts for those that don't need it... Huh, sounds familiar.

Largely Forgotten Osage Murders Reveal A Conspiracy Against Wealthy Native Americans

    History
In The 1920s, A Community Conspired To Kill Native Americans For Their Oil Money

Members of the Osage Indian Nation became very wealthy in the 1920s after oil deposits were found on their land. Then local whites began targeting the tribe. Journalist David Grann tells the story.

This is a very long and intensive article so I will spare you posting it but here is the link for anyone interested and it really is worth a read and is another dark blackeye on America that has largely been covered up and swept under the rug:

Our credit is still good with China. We'll just borrow another 100 trillion dollars. It's not like we'll ever be able to pay it back anyway.

Ironically the "king of credit" President says he will pay off the debt as his empire gets deeper in debt by the day and he almost took down a few banks last time they bailed him out when he was so deep in shit that they couldn't allow him to fail ... he has over 350 creditors !!!

It is only the state of Illinois. Don't know if they can make a deal with China without the backing of the U.S.
Illinois got themselves into this by their choice of politicians.

Illinois owes Medicaid providers $2 billion for care provided to more than 3 million people — a small sum compared to the state's total unpaid bill of $15 billion — or 40 percent of Illinois' operating budget. After being unable to pass a spending bill for two straight fiscal years, the state has been functioning on appropriations since 2015

I don't hear Mike Madigan, Speaker of the Illinois House, offering to make any consessions. He won't even allow ANY budget proposal to be brought to the floor for a debate or vote. He has the votes to pass his budget and force Rauner's hand. But he won't do it.

Now see, there you go again. Demonizing anything not in lockstep................ nevermind. Lets take a look at Illinois budgets and what not over the last decade or so ...........
    upload_2017-6-21_10-16-4.png
And where is the money going?
    upload_2017-6-21_10-16-57.png
    upload_2017-6-21_10-17-33.png
    upload_2017-6-21_10-18-27.png
And where does the money come from?
    upload_2017-6-21_10-19-10.png

So you can continue to demonize all you want. The facts say Illinois, with it's long history of tax and spend policies, is hitting the wall. Draconian budget cuts, starting with Government employment costs, coupled with a new taxing strategy, is the only thing that will help.

Just by looking at the charts and graphs the elected leaders of Illinois are not that bright.
Politicians always seem to have a problem with simple math but this is ridiculous.
People just can's seem to grasp it that you cannot continue to spend more than you take in.

I've been a resident of Illinois since 1969. It's only been in the last year that I was able to hear anyone say that.

    Feels kinda good. :)

And exactly where did I claim he caused the problem? My point is he is dragging his feet in trying to fix the problem.

    1. shootersa
Well, foot dragging is a common disease among both Democrats and Republicans when it comes to fixing real world problems that don't pay off very well.

You are so fucking full of negativity and I have NEVER seen you in a thread with a positive message so let me bring one to you asswipe. I know there will be some of "your kind" that will put a racist spin on this and that the ONLY reason it is not in my feel good thread ...

Woman's Act Of Kindness For A Blind Man Goes Viral

Casey Spelman, of Indianapolis, was visiting friends in Chicago and spotted a blind man having trouble hailing a cab. Without a word, Spelman split from her friends, walked over to the man and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Do you want some help getting a cab?" Spelman asked.

"He said, 'Yeah, you sound pretty, so cabs will probably stop for you before me,'" Spelman recalled the man joking.

The 26-year-old didn't think anything of her act of kindness, but Ryan Hamilton, who was watching from the rooftop of a restaurant, was so touched by the kind gesture he posted pictures of the pair on Facebook, praising the woman for lending a helping hand.

"Wanted to give a shout-out to this girl," Hamilton wrote on Facebook. "No idea who she is, but we are in Wrigleyville on the rooftop of Old Crow Smokehouse. There was a blind Cubs fan trying to hail a cab for several minutes until the lady came up and asked him if he needed help hailing a cab. She stood there with him until one pulled up. Awesome to see such kindness in a world that the media portrays so much hate in. Share freely in hopes that her kindness spreads."

The post was met with overwhelming response.

"It was a strange feeling to see photos of yourself that you did not know were taken," Spelman told CBS News. "Not only did I not realize anyone was watching, but I had no idea it would have such an impact on people."

Spelman says she is happy her pictures are inspiring others and hopes others will step outside of their comfort zones if they encounter a similar situation.

"It's okay if you are unsure of how to interact with someone, but do your best, be brave, and just be willing to help," she said. "I think if you treat someone with respect it will always be appreciated."

Illinois needs to make massive cuts in the pensions it is giving out. These employees knew full well that their Union dues were being used to bribe corrupt politicians in exchange for unsustainable benefits to the employees.

The Union employees are as much a part of the corrupt system as anyone else. They shouldn't financially gain from this corrupt practice of giving political contributions to politicians in exchange for bloated retirement benefits.

Maybe it would help if the citizens of Illinois would pick a little more honest person when election time comes around.

Bankrupt Chicago Erects Anti-Trump Art Near Chicago’s Trump Tower

    7/2/17

As the City of Chicago gets closer to being rated junk bond status and sinks into debt with a $137.6 million budget deficit, City Hall has decided to erect an anti-Trump “sculpture” near the city’s Trump Tower.

On Wednesday, city workers using city equipment installed artist Scott Reeder’s sculpture that features the words “Real Fake” in five-foot-high, gold-painted letters. But it is the location of this “art” that makes it of interest.

The “Real Fake” sculpture stands just outside of Chicago’s Trump Tower.

As the Chicago Tribune reports, the city of Chicago is “trolling” the president.

The sculpture is part of yet another round of public art installations in a city that has spent millions on such displays. The Reeder piece joins a series of new sculptures being added to the city’s River Walk Park, a walkway on the Chicago River used to showcase businesses, art, and community activities. The new art is put together by Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

“What’s wonderful about art is that it is completely open to interpretation,” city spokeswoman Christine Carrino told the paper.

The sculpture itself was not created to needle Trump. As the Tribune notes, it was created back in 2013, well before the age of Trump.

But the placement of the piece, directly across the river from Trump Tower, seems to be no accident.

Neither the sculptor nor the city has made any statements about the placement of the artwork, but the message to the president seems clear.

The city also did not respond to an email from Breitbart asking how much city money was used to erect the display. It is not known how many city workers were on hand during the installation, nor what other city assets and equipment was used to erect the sculpture.

Meanwhile, just last year the city’s bond rating came in at just above junk bond status even as Democrat Mayor and one-time Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel continues to look for expensive million-dollar projects to spend city money on.

It occurs to Shooter that once upon a time, we actually trusted our government leaders to do the right thing.
Nice that we're waking up to reality.
Just hope it isn't too late.
