I’m a product of my conditioning as well. Argument to me requires a challenge or issue or circumstance, and two or more interested parties with actual skin in the game trying to sway either each other or an arbiter to a conclusion. That takes skill, the ability to see the totality of the circumstance, to focus on the main and germane elements, and to prove the point while rendering null any mitigating influence. To me, what we're doing here is quibbling.

I don’t know why you insist on being obtuse. You cannot explain why non-Americans do things on this board because you are not non-American. I mean, you can take a bash at it, sure. Anyone can. I've started 43 threads, five of which were about purely American phenomena.

• One was hoping the Californian members of our board were all safe. Not only not an attack but a positive thing, not sorry.
• One was in observation of the breaking of a longstanding protocol of SCOTUS, which intrigued me greatly. Nope, not an attack, still not sorry.
• One was kinda negative, I'll admit; I was both shocked and dismayed that the triggering of a 'state of emergency' would be invoked to achieve a political purpose. It's still upsetting, actually, in that it was such an egregious misuse of executive power. Maybe a smidge sorry. That thread devolved quickly and I ought to have known better. I also ought to have worded it better.
• One was a flagrant opportunity to make an awesome pun, and to talk about the distribution of a long-awaited legal document. Totally not an attack, and I get to make puns so rarely, so totally not sorry.
• One was to celebrate the election of an LGTBQ black woman to a position of power and authority. Super not sorry.

So, you know, bite me. On the whole, if I start a thread about the US, it's generally a neutral, positive or supportive thing. However, I think you've missed a huge section of the threads posted about other countries - who posts about Israel? Venezuela? Syria? Iraq? Iran? Uh huh.

In short, people can't help but form opinions and views on the US, simply because you guys won't shut the fuck up about it.

If I am a agent provocateur or a shit stirrer (and I’m not) then I obviously am looking for attention. So if you give it to me you are enabling me. So why not just ignore me? No one is forcing any of you to read my threads but you do. No one is forcing you to respond but you do. Why am I so challenging to some of you? I’m bringing up topics that may be controversial but why is that a bad thing?

And are you kidding me when you say that you all were holding hands and singing Kumbaya before I came along? This site like every site where people are anonymous is and probably always has been full of strife, mischief and petty bickering. Don’t blame the fact that people have different and strong opinions on me.
