Sorry but this thread is just as lame as the other one that was created. I suggest you all stop worrying about the antics of one person and get on with your own lives. Just a suggestion, you can take it or leave it. However one might end up thinking you fit in with this character otherwise.

Nope I just don't like bullying in any form. If someone says something you don't like then deal with it there and then, don't create a thread so everyone can jump on the bandwagon, so to speak. That is the cowardly way would you not agree?

If and when I have a problem with someone here or in real life, I deal with it. I don't look for other people to come and help me ridicule that person to death. Simply put I fight my own battles. ^_^

 

It would be a boring place if everybody just politely agreed. I think that this beats having them "debate" and derailing a bunch of other threads. Even though Baller is many times on the defensive, I think he does just what he likes to do and that is to debate/argue etc.

He validated the thread by posting in it. Maybe it would have just become a wall of quotes without conversation if he didn't post, but he did and now it is what it is.

I've heard there are people who are unable to remove their emotions - or themselves - from places on the internet where they are clearly unwelcome - Christ only knows why - but Baller is hardly the type to be sobbing over what people say to him, is he?

He gives, he receives. The cycle goes on and - this may be a shock for you - no-one gets hurt.

 

He gives alone; you hunt in packs.

Anyway i'm not just talking about Baller, as i think you are right in your assumption about him, in that respect, but about bullying in general.

 

Pack implies a hierarchical structure; there is none.

It's just a lot of people with the same... issue.

As far as bullying goes: people who become emotionally invested in edifices on the net deserve what they get. I don't know at what point interactions and personalities on the internet became any kind of substitute to the real thing, but it was surely an ill-fated day.

The internet works by the exchange of information, and so it should be used as such. Exchange of information may get heated at times, but anyone who takes what someone has said with them when they close their browser is asking for trouble. As the saying goes: bearing a grudge is letting another person live rent-free in your head.

I have no sympathy for people who tolerate emotional squatters.

I see someone read my suggestion in the Quotable Quotes thread and gave baller16 his own thread.

Maybe now the other one won't be so clogged up with everyone arguing in it all the time, but I doubt it.
