What's the deal with non-preheated coffee makers? As soon as I pour water in, super hot coffee instantly starts coming out. You think if there was a hot plate that could rapidly heat water to almost boiling, it would melt the cheap plastic those coffee makers are made of. I might google a thing, because I can't be arsed to dig up my manual.

My throat has been bothering me for months. It started in October when I got a sore-throat. After it stopped, I started waking up in the mornings with it dry and hurting until I drank something (That isn't new, though). Now, I've been waking up with it hurting like a motherfucker, even after I drink something (I even take water with me when I go to bed in case I get thirsty), but the pain goes away, then it comes back hours later.

 

Go to your doctor and get things checked. Things are usually dryer in the winter maybe you need to add moisture to your bedroom?

 

Unfortunately, I don't have a doctor (My mother does (Due to her having Diabetes), but I can't use her because I'm not insured (At least, I think that's the reason. I used to be on my dad's insurance, but I think the company took me off of it once I turned 18)).

You may be right about it being dry. We thought about getting me a humidifier. Hopefully that'll work.
