I hate to report this, but this time is real...Lucy went to ladybug heaven this afternoon.

Apparently for the last couple of days she was dying so that's why her behavior was strange with leaving her little wings out, walking around in circles, staggering and constantly going belly up. I had hoped she was going into hibernation or something that's why I didn't have the heart to end her little ladybug life.

I've never had a ladybug hang out that long around my computer and taken refuge before. It's not every day I get to observe a little piece of nature like this. It seems strange to have developed an attachment to an insect, but ladybugs are just one of those special little bugs I've always had a fondness for since I was young.

Lucy will be missed.

To tell or to not? It's something I'm would almost say I am embarrassed of... But does he have a right to know? Or rather, if I am sharing everything else, why not share that?
