It's you who takes the time to maintain the recommended writer's list and it's not up to me to tell you how to do it.

But you might want to read about williamgeorgefraser. He made a brief but truculent and destructive appearance on the site heaping scorn on others and praise on himself. A sad, angry and destructive man
I believe he is recommending benjohnson not because he admires him, but because he wants to foul up this thread, to get his kicks from knocking down the achievements of others - you in this instance.

benjohnson has the lowest ratings of any author I've seen on this site and in my view that's absolutely justified. It would be a shame if the great authors whom you list are denigrated by his inclusion.

well I'll try to give a more deserving recommendation. if anyone has been on the story site front page in the last month and a half you've seen an assload of stories by Ka Hmnd. I'm going to recommend him for the list... He is rough around the edges, especially for those who are insistent on grammar (it throws me off but I can ignore it. watch out for then/than, to/too, slid/slide and more, if you can't ignore it don't frustrate your self by trying)
He is a prolific guy, only on the site since the end of october and has over 100 stories under his belt. and his stories have a bittersweetness to them that is refreshing. I like the happily ever after stuff and I don't read sex stories to read about heavy dramatic conflict, however it makes a nice change. there are main characters who can't deal with the promiscuity around them (in one case leading to attempted suicide); not a theme common in sex stories. There are heroines recoveries from rape and incest (strangely right next to a story about incest in a good light), alcohol depency and other things. and as far as I've seen mostly ending with the happily ever after that I like. Its nice to have some conflict that makes the happy ever after mean something.
there are weak areas in the plots and after reading about four you'll see them readily and be able to spot them out yourself. but there are good twists in his stories too. Enjoy

It's very good post!You ve got a point there.You said is right. I believe that to be completed.

 

Hell I don't know who put me on the list but there I am. I suppose that says something and I do have a fan base and most of my stories are about 80% so I'm grudgingly happy about it I guess you can't make all the people happy or you can't make the trolls happy but they are trolls they aren't supposed to be happy.

Just read a couple of stories from your reccomended writers list (brilliant idea, by the way!)

Lollylover has a terrific writing style although not necessarily for everyone as his stories are 'proper' stories with lots of detail. Those looking for a 'quick one' will be disappointed.

Kimiko, SMCaaphd, Black Rose and others are also good writers who get the juices flowing nicely! I'm still working my way through the list. I could be here quite a while

Strongest seconds (or thirds) on ELPs recommendation of SSALO. Great stories, especially for a new writer. I just hope he is not scared away by the latest efforts at censorship.
