I guess if you wnated to get back at her, you could go for some small, fairly harmless, but recurring thing. So you want something that doesn't cause her much bother if it happened once, but if it happens every day, or every week - it has to be frequent enough that she'll remember it happening the last time.

The only thing that comes to mind is shoving some form of fruit up her exhaust pipe - pointless and amusing, but quickly becoming very irritating.

If you want a mindfuck then you could always leave odd messages in unusual places. For example, if she keeps a key under a pot in her yard, then leave a note underneath that says something like "don't turn round" - or anything to make her feel like she's constantly being watched. Also could be put under the windscreen wipers on her car, amybe written on the back of some innocuous flyer that every other car on the street has.

Mindfucks are dependant on paranoia. And, fuck it, they can be fun at times.

In the end though, in spite of this nice long post with lots ot potential ideas, I would probably recommend just leaving it. The problem is that leaving it is never as much fun...!

The other problem could be that if the new someone in your life sees that you still appear to be obsessing over your ex, she may get very worried.
