Interesting that Desantis is getting slammed when his state currently has vaccinations open to everyone aged 16 and up. That's way ahead of the federal government's target.

No surprise here. Traitors of a feather flock together.

Video emerges of Trump and Ron DeSantis meeting man being investigated for human trafficking with Matt Gaetz

On Wednesday, CBS News revealed that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) went to the Bahamas in late 2018 or early 2019 with a marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon that ultimately triggered a sex trafficking investigation.

The man, named Jason Pirozzolo, "allegedly paid for the travel expenses, accommodations, and female escorts," the report revealed.

Whether the escorts were hired for sex across state or international lines is part of the investigation by the Justice Department, and it includes both Gaetz and Pirozzolo as part of that probe.

A new development occurred Thursday when an old video was unearthed of then-President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump meeting Pirozzolo as they landed in Orlando in June 2019, months after the now-infamous Bahamas trip. Trump was there to launch his 2020 presidential campaign with a large rally.

He, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Casey DeSantis were the only three guests waiting on the tarmac in Orlando that day. It's unknown who helped Pirozzolo score the unique opportunity to greet the president.

character assassination using 2 year old photos?
    Priceless indeed.

Does anyone have any evidence that President Trump had anything to do with Jason Pirozzolo, before or after this photo was taken in 2019?
Does anyone have any evidence that Pirozzolo or Gaetz have violated any laws?

To be clear, Shooter isn't saying these guys are innocent, or that the Federal investigation won't come up with charges, he is saying that you got no proof, you know, besides, "anonymous" and frankly, "anonymous and stumbler have the same credibiltiy.

Fla. Gov. DeSantis to sue federal gov’t over hindering cruise lines from resuming operation

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 2:15 PM PT – Thursday, April 8, 2021

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced he’s suing the federal government over its decision to keep the cruise industry shut down. DeSantis announced the lawsuit against the Biden administration, the Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC during a press conference Thursday.

Cruise lines have been banned from operating since March of 2020, following COVID-19 outbreaks and deaths on several ships. According to reports, the ban has affected 60,000 Ssouth Floridians employed by the cruise lines by cutting hours and even some jobs entirely.

“What most people don’t realize is the impact this has on vendors, business partners, communities, including the folks right here in Port Canaveral,” Disney Cruise Lines President Tom Mazloum said. “Governor, they’re struggling. Let’s get people back to work. The health situation has changed.”

The CDC required all cruise lines to pass a series of health and safety protocols, but has yet to announce a solid date on when cruise lines can set sail again.

I bet he does. No telling how close he and Gaetz really were.

Ron DeSantis dodges questions about pal Matt Gaetz’s legal troubles

Gov. Ron DeSantis doesn't want anything to do with the expanding problems of Florida Republicans like Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and former tax collector Joel Greenberg.

According to Florida Politics, DeSantis dodged questions about Gaetz on Monday when asked. The two men seemed attached at the hip during the 2018 election, appearing at several events together. There don't appear to be any photos of the two men anywhere on DeSantis' campaign page, but there certainly are on Gaetz's page.

"I don't have anything to say, anything else?" DeSantis said when a Capitol reporter probed him on the issue.

DeSantis was also spotted on the tarmac with a Gaetz travel buddy who is now also under investigation for sex trafficking. The two were the only men at the Orlando airport to greet former President Donald Trump ahead of his campaign reelection launch.

In early April, CBS News revealed that Rep. Gaetz went to the Bahamas in late 2018 or early 2019 with a marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon Jason Pirozzolo. The trip ultimately triggered the sex trafficking investigation because Pirozzolo "allegedly paid for the travel expenses, accommodations, and female escorts."

"Gaetz has long since become a political liability," said Florida Politics. "And DeSantis clearly will cut off any questions about his former running buddy, unless or until he wants to answer them in a forum and to an interviewer of his choosing."

DeSantis has kept Florida functioning very well and going along near normal ! The wicked witch in the North has voters wanting to kill her! she is ruining their lives!
Here, we have trouble getting people to come back to work, because pandemic unemployment pays better than Foreman wages. Nobody will come back to work a $400 a week job when they are getting $600 staying home!

Gov. DeSantis slams YouTube, Google for pulling Fla. COVID-19 video

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 1:13 PM PT – Monday, April 12, 2021

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) came out swinging against YouTube after the site removed a video of his, claiming it was COVID-19 misinformation.

At a press conference on Monday, DeSantis went after the Big Tech sites, saying YouTube and Google are not hubs for truth, but are enforcers of narrative. He went on to criticize the companies as “a council of censors in service of the ruling elite.”

Last week, YouTube deleted a roundtable discussion from last month which was posted to a Tampa-area news station’s page.

During the talks, Ivy League medical scholars, former White House advisers and other professionals discussed the effectiveness of masks and lockdown measures.

“So when they took down the videos that were posted by some of the local news outlets here in the state of Florida, they were really continuing what they’ve been doing for the past year. Stifle debate, short-circuit scientific inquiry, make sure that the narrative is not questioned,” DeSantis stated. “And I think that we’ve seen already that that has had catastrophic consequences for our society.”

YouTube claimed they removed the video because “it contradicts the consensus of local and global health authorities.”

Fla. Gov. DeSantis: Lockdowns were a ‘huge mistake’

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 3:55 PM PT – Friday, April 16, 2021

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) admitted the lockdowns, including in his own state, were a huge mistake.

In an exclusive interview with The Epoch Times, DeSantis said everyone wanted to reduce the damage from the virus, but none of the lockdowns worked to slow the spread.

After the initial 30 day lockdown, DeSantis allowed Florida to fully reopen in September. According to reports, Florida is doing the same if not better than states still under lockdown. Reports even say Florida’s economy is booming compared to states like California and New York.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, DeSantis criticized the federal government for horrific messaging on coronavirus safety.

“So my view is if you get a vaccine, the vaccines are effective, you are immune, and so act immune,” DeSantis stated. “If you tell people the opposite then why if it’s not effective for them and it’s not going to change anything, then what’s the point in going through it.”

DeSantis went on to say states continuing lockdowns are making a destructive blunder.

**also gotta say...the lockdowns sure destroyed thousands of small business's nation wide, which created more dependency on the governments State and the federal fucking government...

Bill Maher: Gov. Ron DeSantis protected population better than Cuomo

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 2:05 PM PT – Saturday, April 17, 2021

Liberal talk show host Bill Maher admitted Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) has handled the pandemic better than blue states. On Friday, Maher took aim at Democrats by saying they have greatly exaggerated the dangers of COVID-19.

The liberal host cited a study that showed nearly 90 percent of the United States’ media coverage was negative. He added, this resulted in Democrats being misinformed about the pandemic while leaving viewers with an exaggerated view of the risks associated with it.

“The [Florida] governor is also a voracious consumer of the scientific literature and maybe that is why he protected his most vulnerable population, the elderly, way better than did the governor of New York,” Maher stated. “Those are just facts.”

Maher also went on to commend Texas after COVID-19 infection rates declined as the state lifted its pandemic restrictions.
