I know we waste so much money on administering our schools, we sacrifice resources actually teaching. Fucked up system from Fed to school boards to lunch room now.

It doesn't, just saying schools have fucked up priorities. Whatever they choose to do to rectify the problem, taking lunches back was a pitiful move. Especially that the school admitted to failing contacting parents about discrepancies before the nutrition director pulled meals. A fucking nutrition director more concerned with getting paid than a student getting fed, seems he'd leave finances to others.

 

Here's an idea that would of saved a lot of arguing. If the kids parents haven't paid don't give them the lunch. When I went to school we had to pay before we got our lunch. It is messed up they give them the lunch then take it away from them. I can understand the school needing to be paid

DEAD BEAT PARENTS THAT CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO RESPOND THE THE MANY EMAILS, PHONE CALLS AND LETTERS THAT THE SCHOOL PROVIDES FOR THEM, TO INFORM THEM THAT THEIR CHILDREN'S LUNCH MONEY ACCOUNT NEEDS TO BE REFILLED. THEY GET PLENTY OF CHANCES TO RESPOND BUT THEY ARE TOO FUCKING BUSY WATCHING REALITY TV TO BE BOTHERED TO TAKE CARE OF A SIMPLE LUNCH ACCOUNT FOR THEIR KIDS.

MANY SCHOOLS ARE IN THE HOLE FOR TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN UNPAID LUNCH EXPENSES BECAUSE TOO MANY PARENTS JUST BLOW IT OFF AND IGNORE THE MANY REPEATED PLEAS FROM THE SCHOOL. AS A RESULT THE SCHOOL CUTS THE KID OFF FROM THE HOT LUNCHES UNTIL THE PARENTS GET OFF THEIR DEAD, LAZY ASSES AND PAY THE FUCKING SCHOOL FOR LUNCHES.

NONE OF THIS IS SHOCKING AND IT HAS HAPPENED IN MANY MANY SCHOOL DISTRICTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. AND EVERY FUCKING TIME THE DEAD BEAT FUCKWADS COMPLAIN THAT THE SCHOOL IS BEING UNFAIR AND HAS MISTREATED THEIR LITTLE ANGELS.

TRY NOT PAYING YOUR POWER BILL AND THEN IGNORING THEIR ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT YOU AND SEE IF YOU HAVE ELECTRICITY IN THREE MONTHS.

When people didn't get it the first time and are still trying to argue that the school didnt notify the parents and that the whole thing came out of the clear blue sky and that this is a huge injustice, the double post becomes necessary and the oversize caps makes the point that people should have read the first time but didnt.

My comments have nothing to do will the president or any government agency. It wouldn't matter who the president is. Our debt is going to crush us. China and Japan do not want to trade with us using dollars any more. Debt crushed the Soviet Union. They were stretched to thin, building a huge military, meddling in the affairs of lots of other countries, borrowing to make it happen while people were standing in bread lines. Then they collapsed.
Now they are a fragmented bunch of poor little countries. We are doing exactly the same thing as them, fortunately our economy is more robust, it's going to take longer.

 

Yes, but the issue everyone is discussing is that the food was given to the kids, knowing they didn't have money on their account, only to have it taken away. The food shouldn't have been given out in the first place. Nobody was arguing against what you posted.

 

what most failed to read was the part of the revisit story that addresses the fact that while the school had "begun notifying delinquent parents" they were late in the start and were at fault for using a new method that had not been tested and they could not even know if anyone received the e-mails from the school
since then the school districts has reverted to the old system of notifying parents as well as the old way of adding money to the accounts after a town hall meeting where it was unanimous amongst parents that the new system was inefficient and confusing
