Thanks @ace's n 8's for addressing stumblers ignorance.

Do you think the reason trump is still unindicted (much less convicted) after 6 years of intense federal and state investigations is because hes squeaky clean, or his pursuers are incompetent?

    1. stumbler
Really??? Well the link is right there and I challenge you to go to paragraph nine or any place in the entire false propaganda piece and post where Solomon says Sussmen had anything to do with the warrant for Carter Page after he had already left the Trump campaign.

And when you can't it will prove both you and Ace are just running another one of your phony lying frauds.

Especially when the challenge is to show where Durham is accusing Sussmen of that not some false propaganda opinion piece by a discredited hack.

Well, stumbler, you keep moving the goal posts and changing what is being said.
No one ever said anything about Carter Page or what Sussman had to do with that.
What Durham revealed in his filing was that Sussman went to "a government agency" and reported, among other things, that someone had been using a rare Russian made wireless phone around the white house, Trump tower, and trump's apartment building. Further, we know he failed to mention to the government agency that almost all of that traffic took place during Obama's administration although Sussman left the impression that it was during the trump administration. And finally based at least in part on that, the government agency got FISA warrants.

You keep tossing that misinformation out there old boy.
Won't change a thing, but if Durham gets his indictments it will be embarrassing for you.
Kind of like the Steele Dossier thingy.

Durham's investigation is going to be a 'disappointment to Trump': ABC's Jonathan Karl

    Tom Boggioni
    February 18, 2022

Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Friday, ABC White House correspondent Jonathan Karl reported that Donald Trump seems to be placing his hopes that special counsel John Durham's final report investigating Hillary Clinton's campaign will save his political career and that the former president will likely be sorely disappointed.

Speaking with host Joe Scarborough, who pointed out that Durham has been forced to push back against conservatives who have purposefully misrepresented in his latest briefing, with Scarborough advising the former Justice Department official to get a "third-grader" to write a clearer brief next time, Karl said it was "curious" why Durham has come up with nothing in three years.

"It's a real riddle," Karl claimed after being prompted by the MSNBC host. "I think if Durham had intended to be playing some kind of role to aid Trump here, a political role if he was not thinking of being a political prosecutor, he would have done something before the election. He didn't. It doesn't seem like he is too prone to political influence on either side."

"The last filing, though, was particularly odd because if he had been trying to hide it, he probably couldn't have done much of a better job," he continued. "There was a side pleading whether or not a lawyer had a conflict of interest he was trying to wave a big banner: 'Ha-ha, there was spying going on.' Now he has a subsequent filing comes out, it suggests it has been misinterpreted in the press and it wasn't an effort to gin up anything politically."

READ: 'Huge scam’: Former aide says $375K in donor money being used to rent unused office in Trump Tower

"It's so strange," he explained. "You remember when it first got started he was running around Italy with Attorney General [Bill] Barr, which seemed to be chasing a conspiracy theory about the origins of the investigation. Nothing seems to have come from that, but he does seem to be chasing down absolutely everything. But I've got to believe that when he finally concludes his work -- and by the way, we don't know what he's going do when he concludes his work, is there going to be a report? There is no suggestion of exactly what the end game here is."

"I imagine, despite what happened over the past week, it will be a disappointment to Trump and his allies," he concluded.

I dont know if the m,an is squeaky clean or not...what I do know, if these hack fucks were using their own money, not tax payers money to search high and low for a potential crime committed by Trump.. the hack fuck leftist bullshit would have been over long ago.

I bet the concerted efforts by all the government entities have spent almost $100 million...money that could have been spent on something that the hack fucks rail on about when they want more of their cherished entitlements.

    That's what I do know.

In failed bid to unseat Cicilline, Republican candidate sought help from Russian intelligence
    [IMG]
    Alex Kuffner, The Providence Journal
    Mon, February 21, 2022, 5:30 PM·3 min read

PROVIDENCE — H. Russell Taub, the onetime Republican congressional candidate who was imprisoned for defrauding political donors three years ago, illegally sought help from Russian intelligence in his failed bid to unseat U.S. Rep. David Cicilline in 2016, the Federal Election Commission has found.

A few months before the November 2016 general election, Taub sent a direct message to a Twitter account known to be used by the GRU, Russia’s main intelligence agency, according to a recently released FEC filing. In the message to Guccifer 2.0, Taub asked for a list of Republican donors, saying, “I could use your help to defeat cicilline.” Taub provided an email address and later received a dossier that included opposition research reports, polling data and other information about his incumbent Democratic opponent in the 1st Congressional District race.

Taub, 33, violated federal campaign law “by knowingly soliciting, accepting or receiving a prohibited in-kind foreign national contribution in the form of opposition research related to the candidate’s opponent,” the FEC concluded.

Taub admitted wrongdoing as part of a settlement agreement with the FEC, but he was excused from paying a $31,000 fine due to “financial hardship” and the restitution he must pay for his previous conviction. If he’s found to have misrepresented his finances, the fine will be reinstated.

In 2019, after pleading guilty to wire fraud and campaign-finance violations, Taub was sentenced to three years in federal prison and ordered to repay $1.1 million that he took through unregistered political action committees. Taub admitted to raising $1.6 million in donations and using more than $1 million of the money on cigars, meals, clothes, airfare, strip clubs and escorts, among other personal uses.

The investigation came after a Washington ethics watchdog filed a complaint against Taub with the FEC, alleging his Keeping America in Republican Control Political Action Committee was a “scam” violating campaign-finance reporting requirements.

Ex-House hopeful sentenced on fraud: To serve 3 years, repay $1.1M

Taub formed the PAC but never legally registered it. After finding a wealthy couple from Ohio receptive to his appeals for money, he formed the "Keeping Ohio in Republican Control" PAC to solicit more money from them.

Federal investigators did not initially name the couple, but, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, an FEC document later identified them as Karen Buchwald Wright, the CEO of Ariel Corporation, a maker of gas compressors, and her husband, Thomas Rastin, a vice-president in the Ohio-based company. They gave $1.275 million to Taub’s PACs.

Previous coverage: Taub had 'visions of grandeur,' says R.I. GOP chair

The recent FEC filing mentions Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The investigation determined that “[the GRU] hacked the computers and email accounts of various organizations related to the 2016 U.S. election, including the [Democratic National Committee] and [Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee], and disseminated stolen materials through fictitious online personas, including Guccifer 2.0,” the filing said.

The documents sent to Taub from Guccifer 2.0 were “apparently stolen from the GRU’s various election-related hacking targets,” the FEC said.

Federal law prohibits any “foreign national” from directly or indirectly making a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a federal, state or local election. It also prohibits any person from knowingly soliciting, accepting or receiving any such contribution or donation from a foreign national.

According to prison records, Taub was released on Jan. 13. A lawyer representing him in the FEC case, and Cicilline's office, did not respond to requests for comment on the settlement.

Well, as long as we're reaching back to the 2016 elections to redemonize a deplorable, perhaps stumbler (or any despicable since we expect stumbler to send a minion to respond anyway) will explain how the clinton campaign hiring a foreign national to make up dirt on trump is any different than what Taub did.

    And got jailed for it.
    For reference

    1. Federal law prohibits any “foreign national” from directly or indirectly making a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a federal, state or local election. It also prohibits any person from knowingly soliciting, accepting or receiving any such contribution or donation from a foreign national.

    2. shootersa
No, you've bloviated excuses and the definition matches EXACTLY what Clinton did.

      1) Clinton, through their law firm Perkins Coie contracted with Fusion GPS to continue a project funded by the Washington Post to find dirt on Trump.
      2) Clinton and Perkins knew that Christopher Steele, a former British spy, FBI informant and British citizen would conduct the "research".
      3) Perhaps Clinton, but certainly under her direction, gave Steele specific instructions on the type of "dirt" they wanted on Trump.
      5) Steele produced the Steele Dossier
      6) Beginning in September of 2016 Steele, Perkins Coie, and the Clinton campaign started "leaking" information from the dossier to the media.
      7) As a direct result of Steele providing the dossier to the FBI (as a concerned citizen, if you are that naive) the FBI obtained FISA warrants that allowed them to spy on trump and the trump campaign.

      The items bolded in the post above are the essential elements that violate federal election law;
§30121. Contributions and donations by foreign nationals
prohibits any “foreign national” from directly or indirectly making a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a federal, state or local election. It also prohibits any person from knowingly soliciting, accepting or receiving any such contribution or donation from a foreign national.

    4. shootersa
And finally, we have to point out that despite 6 years of intense investigation not one single allegation in the Steele dossier has been proven. Almost all of them have been fully refuted. No pee tape. No covert trips to Russia by trumps attorney Cohen to meet with Russian spies. No collaboration, cooperation or collusion between Trump and putin to steal the oval office away from Hillary Clinton, who had been promised it.
The Steele dossier is a pack of lies, contracted by and paid for by the Clinton campaign to smear the opposition candidate. It was used to weaponize the FBI into obtaining FISA warrants to spy on Trump and his presidential campaign.

This is a blatant lie. 6 years of intense investigation have not shown where Trump asked for Russian help. And theatrics (Russia if you're listening) during the debates don't apply. Thats a slippery slope you don't want to go down. Shooter hopes you do, but you won't want to.

Clinton violated federal election law when she hired Fusion GPS and Steele to continue digging up (or making up) dirt on Trump.
Now, @stumbler if you think Shooter is lying and full of shit, put up.
In your own words, not some bullshit copy and paste crap, tell us which elements of Federal Election Law were not violated when Clinton hired Steele to create the Steele Dossier. No name calling, no diversions, no minions interfering, you tell us exactly how Clinton hiring Steele did not violate federal election law.

You can do that simple thing, can't you??

US President Donald Trump and Russia's President Vladimir Putin shake hands during a meeting on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany, on July 7, 2017 (AFP).

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday called Vladimir Putin a "genius" after the Russian president made moves to take over parts of Ukraine.

Trump made the remarks during an interview with conservative podcaster Buck Sexton.

"I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, 'This is genius,'" Trump recalled. "Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine -- Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful."

"I said, 'How smart is that?'" the former U.S. president continued. "And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right. No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy."

Trump added: "But here’s a guy that says, you know, 'I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent,' he used the word 'independent' and 'we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.' You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn’t have one for that. No, it’s very sad. Very sad."

And always the lie that the Mueller investigation didn't find anything. They actually found evidence of conspiracy but couldn't prove it because people lied and destroyed evidence and Mueller thought Don Jr was just too fucking stupid to know he was committing a crime.

But Mueller's was only one of several that proved Russia interfered in our elections to help Trump. And Trump and his campaign gladly accepted that help.

This is another thing we see around here all the time. Russian false propaganda tends to be really poor quality and can usually be exposed as lies with just quick searches. But now it seems to me amateur hour even at the highest levels. Like Putin's big phony dog and pony show yesterday that was all staged and pre recorded. As revealed when someone got a shot of one of the attendees watch that was several hours off.

Which is also where the vast majority of experts now believe President Biden played extremely well against Putin by analyzing and making public US intelligence just about as fast as they got it. That was a new trick and so far has worked extremely well at getting most the world on board of opposing Putin.

And even though Putin has created a very tight authoritarian state where he controls the press I don't believe he can totally seal off the Russian people from the outside world.

Russia mocked for 'poor quality propaganda' in failed misinformation war: analyst

Washington Post writer Phil Bump noted that Russia has really fallen down on its job with propaganda and false flags in the run-up to the Ukraine invasion.

President Joe Biden made it clear last week that he expected a number of false flags to come out of Russia over the course of the weekend. Indeed, there were, but it didn't have much of an impact over how the impending invasion was covered.

Bump cited open-source investigators Bellingcat, aka Eliot Higgins, who tracked reports, and then dispelled any false claims.

"Over the weekend, for example, contributors using a wide range of tools were quickly able to determine that a video purportedly showing Ukrainian saboteurs entering Russia was actually filmed in Ukraine, near the location of a previous claim about an attack on a Russian outpost. The vehicle purportedly used to transport the 'saboteurs' was one used not by the Ukrainian military but by the Russians," Bump wrote.

But according to Higgins, it's like Russia isn't even trying anymore.

“These are genuinely some of the most idiotic efforts at disinformation I’ve seen,” he said on Twitter. “I expected to be lied to, but I didn’t expect all those lies to be so blatantly dumb. I’m actually offended at the poor quality of this propaganda and feel bad for Russia for having produced it.”

Another example he and the crew destroyed was claims of a video from the Donetsk region claiming they were being targeted with "chlorine tanks." The problem was that the creators of the videos didn't think to check the meta-data about when it was created.

"One of the more embarrassing revelations was made by Bellingcat’s Aric Toler," wrote Bump. "The Russian-allied leaders of separatist groups in each of the regions Russia has since formally entered published videos on Friday recommending that citizens evacuate in the face of acts of violence that had unfolded over the preceding several hours. But, looking at the metadata for the uploaded videos — information about how and when the videos were created — Toler and others found that the videos appeared to have been created two days prior.

He closed by explaining that we've finally reached the point that Russia can be easily debunked by the everyday person with commonly used software. The propaganda machine, although shoddy, might have stopped online victories for Russia. Sadly, however, it hasn't changed Russia's invasion.

As Putin was bombing the independent, sovereign nation reportedly with cruise and ballistic missiles, Donald Trump phoned into Fox News and defended Putin's attack – justifying it because of what he called the "rigged" American election."

One of the reasons I like posting on the same threads for years is because they are actually an archive. Just like this one. Anyone can go back to the very beginning of this thread to now and see the pro Putin/Russia supporters that have done nothing but lie and deny cheer and make up excuses for Putin helping Trump get elects and Trump spending four years in office returning the favor. No one has to take my word for that. They can look for themselves and see the treasonous conservative/Republicans doing it. And now they have innocent Ukrainian blood on their hands.

Trump is Putin's 'most valuable useful idiot' — and the GOP will soon 'fall into line': MSNBC analyst

Former president Donald Trump is Russian President Vladimir Putin's "most valuable useful idiot," according to MSNBC analyst Charlie Sykes.

During a discussion on Thursday night about American conservatives who've praised Putin recently, host Joy Reid played a clip from one of Fox News host Tucker Carlson's rants.

"I don't think Russia is inducing them to do it," Sykes said. "I think they are talking themselves into being useful idiots for the Russians. And that's what Tucker Carlson is. He used to be described as a useful idiot. The most valuable useful idiot, of course, is Donald Trump."

Sykes added that while some Republicans have spoken out against Putin's invasion of Ukraine, the "id" of the GOP is represented by Carlson.

"The entertainment wing of the Republican Party is going in a very different direction than the elected officials in the Republican Party, and again, what the important point is, is that the entertainment wing of the Republic Party is dominant, and they have sided with Donald Trump," Sykes said. "So I think this is actually worth watching. I don't think people should be under any illusions that somehow there's going to be a break in the Republican Party, that there's going to be a moment of sanity. Look, if Jan. 6 did not break Donald Trump's hold on the Republican Party, then his fawning, slavish praise of Vladimir Putin while he is raping Ukraine is certainly not going to do it."

Sykes noted that the clip of Carlson was played on Russian state TV — saying the Fox News host has become "a propaganda mouthpiece of the Kremlin."

"This is an extraordinary moment to watch this, but also to understand how deep this is," Sykes said. "In part this fascination is, they like the strong men, they like the authoritarian. It goes deep, Donald Trump's long history with Vladimir Putin, so this is not a one-off, and my guess is the Republican Party will fall into line behind the entertainment wing of the party sooner or later."

So Shooter thought, well yes, it probably will benefit if we occasionally go back and reread threads from the beginning.
    So Shooter did.
Read this entire thread from start to finish.

    Guess what?
Not a fucking thing has changed in over 6,000 posts and over 5 years.
    Not one fucking thing.

This is true. You have never stopped supporting defending and making up excuses for Putin. And the proof is all over this thread. In fact no one would even have to go further than this page to clearly see you doing it.
