if you aggregate the findings eight out of one hundred women have fantasized about zoophilia three out of that eight have had a sexual experience with a dog and one out of that three has had full sex with a dog.

To play Devil's Advocate here... the negative viewpoint on all of this is not about the willingness of the animal to engage in sexual acts with humans, it's a question of consent. In the eyes of modern law, and the protections it tries to offer, can an animal consent to having sex with a human? In the same way that an underage human is not considered to be able to make an informed choice due to their under-developed brain, and thus if an adult human has sex with an underage human it is considered rape, then so too an animal cannot give "consent" to sex, as it is not capable of the same level of reasoning as an adult human.

Bestiality has been around since before the word, or laws against it, existed; probably since before humans had even developed any kind of modern languages. Until modern religions made it the highest taboo, people engaged in bestial acts at very least as part of ceremonies, though also likely purely for enjoyment.

I'll again cite the only confirmed figures I know on the subject, which is that somewhere between 2% - 8% of people admit to actively engaging in bestial acts, and as much as 15% admit to fantasies. The fact that sex with animals is the highest taboo, you can likely bet that these figures are not truly representative of reality, but that's what probably at least 6 major sexual studies have shown over the past 70 years.

(If these figures differ from my other posts on this subject, apologies, they are in the right ball park. I can't be assed googling them again right now, following the recent warning I received over posting links to factual information in another thread.)

Yes but animals aren't human, so it's apples and oranges. A male dog has sex out of pure
instinct. So a human can take advantage of this if he/she so chooses. If a man or woman consents to letting a male mount them. Then its a case of no harm no foul IMO. However the same can't be said for female animals. As the human is the "aggressor" In gay terms it's often referred to as "pitching and catching."

That said. Clearly most feel its wrong for any human to be sexual with any animal. Even though we are all just animals in the end.
