Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) suffered either a technical hiccup or a brain fart on live TV Wednesday as he spoke to Sean Hannity on Fox News.

Jordan and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) spoke with Hannity about hearings earlier in the day with FBI Director Christopher Wray, who is the latest target of right-wing rage due to the criminal case against Donald Trump.

When the conversation turned to Hunter Biden, Jordan seemed to lose all train of thought.

“That’s exactly what happened with, yuh, with the decision, the, the, uh, when it came to the uh, the decision with uh, Mr. uh,” Jordan said, then reset himself.

“I’m drew a blank there, Sean, I apologize,” Jordan offered. “I got a huge echo in my ear, I can’t even hear.”

Hannity typically plays up even the slightest verbal stumbles by President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris as a cause for national embarrassment, and did so on his show Wednesday.

But he was a lot more forgiving of Jordan.

“Sorry about that,” Hannity said.

It's as inevitable as sunrise, or in this case, sunset.

Trump's political future depends upon a base of stupid people who will believe what they are fed. This class of stupid consumers requires a class of stupid suppliers with a lot of mixing at the dividing line.

This works well for them until they have to step outside the boundaries of Trump World. The main requirement of a MAGA candidate is the ability to parrot the lies that are MAGA's foundation. This creates a problem when it becomes difficult to tell who is just repeating lies they were told, and who actually believed the lies.

This is how people like Comer and Jordan get into Congress. Jordan is an accomplished liar who has no respect for law and sees truth as an impediment to his goals. Comer is the unfortunate stupid MAGA candidate who got elected.

Jordan is the man who helped cover up sexual abuse because the scandal would impact his political future. Confronting sexual abuse is a kind of "one time only" offer. After Jordan covered up the first complaint, he became complicit. It takes a sociopathic personality to handle that, which makes him the perfect MAGA.

Comer, on the other hand is stupidly sincere. If a person comes to him and says everything he wants to be true, Comer never stops to ponder the meaning of "too good to be true". The next thing he knows, his star witness is indicted for lying about everything on which Comer staked his political future. He can't understand what happened, but someone told him that his Chinese spy was being targeted by the deep state and he thinks that should satisfy all the doubters.

 

Yep the desperation and frustration is palpable now. The stammering was hilarious.

ep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) expressed her doubt in the propriety of the Secret Service’s investigation into the cocaine found at the White House earlier this month after the investigation was closed on Thursday, saying it fit into a larger pattern of investigations relating to President Joe Biden’s and his family going nowhere.

“Yeah, I would like answers,” Mace told reporters before expanding on her suspicions.

“It just seems like anytime we have any questions about any unsavory activity around the Bidens, no one can provide an answer conclusively or not,” she continued. “Someone always ends up lying.”

After the illicit substance was found in the West Wing on July 2, one official “familiar with the investigation” hurriedly explained to Politico that they believed they would not be able to find the person who brought it into the building because the area it was found in is “a bit of a thoroughfare.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also erroneously told reporters that the Biden family was not in the building on the Friday preceding the discovery of the cocaine in spite of the president, first lady, and Hunter Biden’s presence in the White House on that day.

Those surrounding circumstances played into the theories of some of the president’s political opponents that the substance belonged to Hunter, a recovering cocaine addict.

“The Cocaine was for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe, in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!” offered former president Donald Trump on Truth Social earlier on Monday.

But as even Fox News personality and former Trump senior staffer Kayleigh McEnany — as well as Fox’s Steve Doocy — acknowledged, there was no evidence beyond his past struggles with substance addiction issues to suggest that the cocaine belonged to the president’s son.

 

Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans tried to launch another conspiracy theory that blew up in their faces almost instantly. They tried to claim their star whistleblower witness was indicted by the feds to try to keep him from testifying. But Luft was indicted and skipped bail in January before any of their committees were even formed and no one had any idea who they might call. Luft approached them BECAUSE he had been induced by the feds as an escape hatch.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) on Thursday torched his Republican colleagues on the House Oversight Committee for potentially letting themselves be used by an alleged agent for the Chinese government.

While appearing on CNN, Raskin said that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and his colleagues were all too willing to believe allegations leveled by Gal Luft, the man who was indicted last year for being an unregistered agent for China among other crimes.

"They are out there playing spy-versus-spy with these people who are basically using the Oversight Committee of the United States House of Representatives as a dupe," Raskin charged of Republicans' interactions with Luft. "This guy is in hiding. He is a fugitive and he is using his ability to wow the members of the majority of the Oversight Committee to wrap himself in some kind of legitimacy or authority."

Raskin then compared Luft to another man who attained prominence within the Republican Party by telling them false claims that they wanted to believe were true.

"It's kind of like with what George Santos did with the Republican Party," he said. "They are attracting con men."

Raskin was then asked if Luft's claims about President Joe Biden taking bribes for foreign governments could still be credible, and he cast doubt on the proposition.

"He has been indicted for making false statements," said Raskin. "This is the person we are going to rely on?"
