Thank you, I'm growing with each poem I write, It's a better feeling then when I first started out.

Diminished

Standards, Is it really so hard,
Feeling diminshed or belittled,
Who plays there role or there part?
Increased hatred, Or just mixed emotions.

Having different feelings, Or confused notions,
Diminished from the rest, But admired by few.
Could anything be hurtful, Is it purposely or intentionally.
Can there be honesty, Or is it always lies.

Why should there be distance, Can a compromise be made.
Are people so ill fated, Or just cautious with strangers.
Some say it's fear, Others say natural instincts.
Grabbing hold of the truth is surely hard to do.

No one expresses what they feel or need,
Some stay bottle up, Like an unplanted seed.
Take time to look ahead, And focus for a change.
It's not how you succeed, but how well you play the game.

Diminshed from the beginning, But out from the shell.
For now I understand my outlook, Others not so well.
Don't let someone belittle your presence,
Your better then you think.

So within this world we stay, Living as we like.
Nothing lasts forever, Untill your laid to rest.
No more life left to breathe, Sleep and feel no pain.

Shattered Image

Look upon one's self
An image is what you see
But the reflection shown back
Is shattered beyond dreams

Broken from head to toe
Ruined from within, Hard to piece back
Filled with riddles and sin
Eyes with fury inside
And questions unanswered

Shattered from a past
Nothing feels right
Searching for a path
Something new and comforting

Lies of those who pretend to speak truth
But nothing is certain in a world so untrue
Deception and ignorance can destroy one's self
Shattered images on the ground
The pain does not help

For pills are the only escape
Take a dozen and drift
Sleep in a land of sorrow
Unbound in sweet bliss

Shattered to the core
Your time is done now
Look upon me as i fall
No throne, Or gold crown

Driven

Have you every pushed yourself
Strive to be great, Given all you got
No interuptions or distractions in your way
Driven to the edge, Pushed to the last mile.

Driven from a passion so strong, just to exist
To feel alive, to feel empowered, to just be
Making one decision to the next, but better then before
Seeing your accomplishments succeed, Achieving every goal.

Tell me what it feels like, Show me your will
Bring on any challenge, And I will overcome it
To drive to that limit, To see the end
To finish with such relief, To conquer myself

Give all I have to feel power, To withstand it all
Show my true strength, with spirit and mind so strong
Driven to a finish line, I can clearly see
For when your driven to your breaking point
You find out who you can be.

Over the top and give it all that you can
Nothing is impossible, Just give me your hand
Stand beside me and show me the way
For I am so driven, That I will never stray

Hourglass

Time waits for no one
Just flows at its own pace
Slipping with every grain of sand
Loosing precious minutes as we go

As the hourglass counts down
As time slips through the vile
Draining slowly and never loosing speed
Calling upon memories from the past
Looking back at what we have done

Remembering all the good and bad
Slowly the sand draws down
Forming a hill at the bottom
Can you remember a time
When life was good?

Was there a mother or a father around?
How about a happy childhood?
All these questions make a memory
Whether we choose to like it or not
The hourglass knows our pain

Though it never forgets as it drains
But like that vile that holds the sand
We are like it as well, Our memories
Our experiences all kept in a box

But whether we like to admit it or not
The real question is tricky
Where will you be when it's your time?
Now that is the real mystery.

Forever Bliss

State of mind, State of stress
Feeling confused, Or am I blessed
Forever bliss, Or forever cursed
Is life worth living, Is there a reverse

Forever thinking, And sometimes lost
Hard to see truth, In a world of fog
Bliss does exist, But not in this era
Look into the mirror, As the reflection stares back

Forever and image, but nothing alike
The mirror sees different, What is he like
Does he feel pain, Or have troublesome times
Forever confused with difficult signs

See beyond truth and look through ones soul
Forever bliss lies beneath, So warm and not cold
So full of life and peaceful in time
For every heartache we've suffered
There is no cure to these rhymes

Forever bliss we shall sleep and be at rest
No more headaches or lies or personal test
Forever state of mind at ones will
Never understimate the excitment or thrill

For the air you breathe may be your last
Forever bliss will keep you safe
In your present, your future, and past.

Rememberance

I remember such a thing called friends
The kind you could keep in touch with
The type who would always be there
But what happened to that word
Does anyone know?

I remember a time when people were true
Always showed there feelings and support
Friends who wouldn't hesitate to talk to you
Remembering what it was like to count on them

Rememberance of a past that never held lies
Remembering a time when people just appreciated you
Few people now have that quality
Lost in a world no longer here

Wrapped in a dimension blocked from reality
Remembering a time that you felt free
Why does it seem that friends aren't what they seem
Maybe a time of that nature no longer exists

I think in a world we once lived in
Will forever be clouded by technology
Where the meaning of a friend no longer is true
So remember those friends you once had

Because now, There nothing but a memory
Wrapped deep and tight in the past.

Solitude

Pondering my trials,
The ups and downs,
Solitude in my thoughts,
Nothing left to try,
Just alone and friendless.

The many attempts at greatness,
Shot down each time,
Solitude in my life,
Nothing left to give,
Stripped of all armor.

Solitude from the world,
Holding on with nothing to own,
No one to care,
A burden to everyone,
Just myself is all I have.

What more can be done?,
Facing a wall of rejection,
Too many obstacles in my path,
Solitude is where I turn,
Cause that's all there is for me.

For every friend I had,
Only emptiness fills the void,
For everyone I thought I could trust,
Only lies are around me always,
No one left to trust.

Giving up on petty things,
Living in solitude to keep safe,
Putting a barrier around my heart,
And nothing more to give,
Time to say goodbye.

I've had that happen to me quite often lately (for stories & articles at least, I can no longer consider myself a poet). When i switched my purse to a more spring-acceptable one I forgot to transfer my little notepad. Thanks for reminding me to put it back

Galaxy Nation

The moon, the stars, the galaxy combined
So open and spacious, So well lit and refined.

Galaxy Nation come one, come all,
So many mysteries in that neon sky.

What would it be like? To drift in that sea,
To feel the atmosphere carry you, To be free.

A galaxy of gases, and planets abound,
All 9 systems just floating, So beautiful and round.

Stars, and comets and shooting balls of flame,
Galaxy Nation what a magical name.

Meet me in the heavens, Where wings are not needed,
For the gravity alone will keep you well sated.

Float and fly through the endless skies,
Touch a star and make a wish.

Watch the world from a far, And feel like a king or queen,
Nothing can stop the feeling of this sweet sirene.

Galaxies and planets galore, Push off a star and soar,
Feel yourself let go, And glide through the cold light show.

Wouldn't it be a sight, To see the solar system at night,
To be among the many shiny spectacles, So amazing and bright.

Welcome to my Galaxy Nation, Come play in the sky,
For my only dream is to live within that glorious paradise.

I really appreciate the imagery in this poem. The idea that we can be a part of something so vast and large is definitely appealing. To be able to visit such planets and be able to "touch a star". Thanks for sharing handsome! :rose:

BulletProof Part.2

Left from the destruction that I caused
Everything in ruin, Thrown and tossed.

Burnt to a crisp and laid to ash,
Nothing will survive from my past.

Bulletproof what a curse,
Can't die from the pain or the hurt.

Living on eternity can never age,
Broken from within, Add another page.

History will live or fail,
Like a prisoner, There is no bail.

Stuck on forever, No end in sight,
Bulletproof from the living light.

Can't fall in battle or take a hit,
Left to stay fighting through this ditch.

Wounded and scared but no blood will fall,
Here in this war standing strong and tall.

Bulletproof from time and death itself,
The Grimm Reaper couldn't touch me to save hisself.

I'm undefeatable and can't be swayed,
Couldn't knock me down or feel my pain.

Walking among the world I've laid to rest,
With smoke gleaming off my body, What a test?.

Wandering the land a rebel without a cause,
Bulletproof my ending with no yield to law.

Fake Reality

Fake Reality, Fake disguise
Too many people playing fake
an telling lies.

No one is real it seems to me,
Welcome to this Fake Reality.

A world based on people who
have false personalities,
To win over the attention
of online reality.

Go to chat and make a friend,
But they all vanish in the end.
Why you say or ask? Ask yourself
Your smart enough, Not an ass.

Use you're head and learn to think,
Even the real geniuses fall to the brink.
We get deceived and fooled a lot,
Every forum becomes more like
a parking lot.

People staying idle, with closed lips.
Non responsive words and ego trips.
No one person can prove there intelligence,
But why bother it's pointless.

Fake people under a world of deceit,
The matrix at it's worst, Wouldn't you think?.
Can there be a balance of those who speak,
And those who don't, Everyone has something to flaunt.

When you show interest and make a move,
It only lasts a day, Then it's all washed away.
Prove to me or yourself, Are you worthy?
I doubt it, But there is someone else.
There always is and never will it fade,
Fake Reality, A world of games.

So think before you act, And remember one thing.
If you think you stand a chance, Just walk away
and think. For the reality you believe
is an illusion before you're eyes.

So welcome to the internet, Enjoy you're stay.
But when you think your talking to a girl,
She may be a guy whose either fat, or gay.
She may be a slut and just wants attention it's true,
But don't depend on her for company,
Cause there's a 90% chance,
She's only pretending to like you.
