Thank I appreciate it. I believe in trying to show the things we tend to miss in everyday life. Sometimes I may not hit it on the nose right away, but eventually with more writing, I will achieve it.

 

Honestly, it was this line in your first post that caught my eye:

I've said the same thing of my own work in the passed, and meant it too. I don't want people to take it easy on me, I don't need to hear approval or dislike, what I want is advice. Be it constructive or destructive, it helps us learn and grow.

I saw a lot of similarities between us in that line. I'm often told I read too much into things but I feel we're cut of the same cloth, in some respects at least.

 

Exactly. I prefer to be told the truth, if I suck then help me be better. Criticize and critique if you feel that I need to express more or less or better meanings, or anything that will jar me to increase my talent and not decrease my ability to write it.

No I appreciate it. Thanks, I personally don't think of the alternative way to write it, till after I've posted it. lol I've had that happen on a few occasions. Then realized it would of sounded better a different way.

I know right lol, always occurs when you're in the midst of writing and thinking everything sounds good. Then afterwards you read it a few times and you're like. Shit, I could of added this, instead of that. lol

 

I admit I usually give up when that happens to me. I tell myself I'll come back and finish it but I rarely do.

Well now that I know some helpful ways and tips to write certain texts.. I'll know for future too. Plus when I get around to transferring all this to saved note pad files and write them all in a journal. I'll redo the thread completely from scratch.

 

That's a good idea, make it clean too, no comments or anything so it's easy to view. Perhaps redirect comments to this thread somehow.

 

Good point. Would be so much easier. Have a clean thread with just poetry. No other distractions.

Truth
I believe truth is akin to energy; it cannot be created or destroyed.

We create lies, not truths.
We find truths, discover them, research and analyze them.
We cannot destroy truth.
We can cover it up, hide it away and bend it, but the truth is still there in the shadows.
The truth can be forgotten, lost or ignored but it is no less real for it.
If something should be true today and not tomorrow, that's fine,
for the truth of the matter will always remain.
We learn from truths, so in a way, truth fuels us just like energy.
