  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

In spite of all the humans who died, three dogs survived the historical sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Two Pomeranians and 1 Pekingese - all from First Class cabins. You know damn well that they weren't from 'Steerage' if those 'low rate' passengers wee even allowed to bring pets. But it's not like the three surviving pooches took up space on the lifeboats that ould have been used for people - they were all small lapdogs.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or to shake my head in disappointment...it's hard to do both of those things at the same time, so I'll choose a giggle in solidarity! :D

When George Lucas envisioned Star Wars, the character who eventually became Luke Skywalker was female.
If you watch episode IX and pay attention to the plot, it's basically the first trilogy told with a female protagonist.

I don't really know where to put this but I was intrested and amazed.

So to clarify, I have no tattoos and am more than halfway through my life, I expect I will end my life without. I am not for or against tattoos, more than half my family has ink and I don't mean a little Maori band I'm talking fantastical landscapes from the toes to the neck.
I have never actually watched a tattooing or seen the process done and let me tell you I'm amazed!
I was recently asked by an artist to comment on a picture. I'm not an artist, I can't draw a stick figure. I looked at the Pic, it seemed picturey so I said some thing like "Ja great" I thing the artist picked up on my lack of enthusiasm, so three or so days later I get a new picture, now you got to understand this is a full A3 pencil artwork, it's the same picture but completely different. This time though I now have to discuss and explain exactly what and why, I decide I prefer the old picture and why. About half a day later I get the new picture back, looking exactly the same as the last one with the same question" what do i think"? Slightly confused I look at the Pic again. It a great piece of art work and I can see that a huge amount off effort, time, detail has been put into it and I still prefer the first one. So for honestys sake I tell them that. The response is that do I think it will look good as a tattoo? I'm like, ummmm no. Then they explain where it's going and now I start to see a few moving parts as it slowly becomes 3d in my head. First I'm not still not sure about the Pic but your body your canvass and secondary who the hell is going to do this? This is not a stick figure this is literally a full page of detail and shading and colour and stuff!
    Anyway.
Afew days later I receive a invite and directions to a random house in the burbs. intrested to see I rsvp and add it to my schedule. It's a typical suburban home, little garden, couple of cars in the driveways. The gates got a barely noticeable sign on it that says tattoos, I know because I drove past twice. I was met at the gate by a guy +- 40 years old in his camo cap, black shirt and cargo pants, a tattoo or two showing on his arms. I was greeted and shown into the house and through it to a back room. And it was exactly what I expected from a 40 year old living with his mom and dad. Small, just enough space for a massage bed, two chairs, a old PC, a little shelf and a gas heater. The artist was calmly lying there semi nude and marginally coloured in. I could definitely tell it was the art work I had passed comment on but it wasnt really it, I was informed that the tattooist had already been busy for 2 or so hours on it.
From there on my expectations where shattered. He had the original drawing lying on the little shelf next too him along with 5 or six tiny vials of black ink. Now honestly I can't tell you there was any difference between them but he would look at the picture and select a different black and do little pieces here or there, then check again and change blacks and do something else. It didn't take me long to work out that this hillbilly looking guy was no clown but a genius with a needle gun. To say I am shocked is a understatement, after going back on different days a few times to watch him transfer the picture from the paper to the living canvas in every little exquisite detail was amazing. The different shades or tones, black ink, green ink, pink ink, white ink, brown ink all of it mixed and flowing lively through the forest and it's creatures! I just can't believe that that much detail can be achieved, I mean I listened to the two discuss at one stage the placement of a leaf whether it was in the back ground or foreground and how it would effect the the surroundings. I think it was two artists on top of their game collaborating to produce something spectacular.

It's not unusual for two artists to collaborate on a piece, especially on a large piece. You may not have ink yet, just remember to ask your artist to initial his or her work. no artist will sign shit work...

Jim Arness and Lorne Greene shared the buckskin horse between Studios from '59 to '73. He was a magnificent animal, standing at least 18 hands high.
When the GUNSMOKE ended in '75 Lorne Greene bought him and kept him until '79 when he donated him to a therapeutic riding center. where the Horse taught mentally and physically challenged children to ride. He passed away in '92 at the age of 45, an unusually long life for a horse.

The Korean War isn't technically over - it's in a 70 year state of 'Cease Fire.'

On July 27, 1953, military commanders from the United States (representing the United Nations Command), the Korean People’s Army, and Chinese People’s Volunteer Army signed the Korean Armistice Agreement, ending roughly three years of fighting of the 1950-1953 Korean War.

Despite the fighting ending in a ceasefire, the war is technically still considered ongoing as no official peace treaty was ever signed, meaning the Korean peninsula remains technically divided along the 38th parallel.

    Nobody knows who named earth

    *Raises hand.

Supreme Commander named earth ......... earth.

The word "earth" is a variation of a clazkatce word, pileofwetfreshstinkingfeces, that means "unpleasant smell".

Turns out, Supreme Commander, when he made his first visit to earth, landed in a pile of Dinosaur shit.

Which is also, by he way, where the term "shit happens" originated.

Also where the word "dirtyrottenilliteratesonofabohemianarmpitsuckingliceeatingnogoodsonofacamelsanalorifice" originated.
