Im sorry for your loss, and this is not meant for you, or anyone, just in general: I'd say "Show someone you love them, as much as tell someone you love them!" I lost my parent probably 60 yrs ago and at that time in my life, I simply didn't have any time for them.

 

Sorry for your loss, Lioness. Your mom will always be with you in spirit and memories though the loss will hurt less and less each day. I lost my mother 29 years ago on my birthday. Be strong.

Lioness, nothing anyone can say makes the pain less. Time won't make it go away, but it will become bearable and even bittersweet.

Oh, no, my sweet friend! I am so very, very sorry for your loss and dearly wish I could take away your pain. You already know I just returned from a family funeral, so I truly empathize with what you are going through. It wasn’t so long ago we lost my dad and you lost yours, so we both know how uniquely painful it is when a parent dies. If there is anything good in this event, it is that your mom wasn’t in extended pain and didn’t linger in the coma with little hope, and knowing your sister was with her is a blessing.

I know how dearly you will miss her and all of her thoughtful gestures and communications, and while it may seem like small comfort now, you will always have those memories to cherish and to remind you of how blessed you have been to be her daughter. She was blessed to be your mom, too, and the best of her will live on through you. You will always be her young cub, and the lessons she taught you will continue to serve you well. Feel your way through the sadness, but move on to live with the joy and purpose and excitement she would want for you. She will never, ever leave your heart, and that, my friend, is the very best part of you. I wish you and your family peace and comfort, and I’m sending you much love and friendship.

 

I always make sure to tell my loved ones I love them when I leave or we speak. I also try to never leave or go to sleep angry.

Its my daughters birthday on sunday and i cant go to see her for personal reasons
