You actually just described pretty much exactly what the real Old Guard(well unless you count the people who frowned on that sort of thing) did around here. The "vets" around now only like fun if it's their fun, otherwise "How Dare You Enjoy Yourselves!". Then again, maybe that's because the majority of people on here back then weren't tools or attention whores.

I think that the noob title is bestowed by the vets as a derogatory term to people that they either don't know or disagree with.I have always had a problem with people that exclude others for no good reason.

As for tiring arse kissing,well it depends on the arse how draining that is.

I stay away from threads if I don't like the subject matter, but it is entertaining to watch them develop.
