  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Excellent choice that Deidre, it's a superb movie, and it truly summed up the concept of "never judge a book by it's cover", better than just about anything ever made. It's also got one hell of an ending! (And considering how powerful and controversial a movie it is, it's not surprising it was banned for many years).

Hmm, best movie in the world? That's tough, because there are so many categories to choose from! Think I'll have to have a really hard think about that one...

Bye for now - Fluffy McNoo. :)

Trust Bousch to jump into this with with his anti-Semitism!!!

As for best movie ever, well of course it's subjective, but my fave of all time was a 1987 classic cult flic Brazil by Terry Gilliam, wonderful movie and a terrifying vision of a dystopian future or is it a terrifying vision of a dystopian present???
Pulp fiction, as previously mentioned was great too, but there have been so many great movies in the sea of shit, such as one flew over the cukoo's nest, that it is hard to name them all

    Hmmm Good thread!

    The Fly
As silverlycan said the movie was very emotional especial for a horror film. Plus it has outstanding performances from Jeff Goldblum, and Geena Davis. Plus The effects that Chris Walas created were amazing. I always wanted to remake this as a fan film for fun... say that 5 times fast. I think it would be cool to see what I could come up with and have my own twist, yet staying true to the 1985 film.

    Day Of the Dead
Not the remake, and not the half asses sequal. The original Romero movie, is in my opinion the greatest zombie flick to ever step foot on the earth. It may be boring in some parts, but all the dialouge even though it is drawn out, it all makes sense to an extent, and you can feel the paranoia build up and the trust leaving each other in that under ground tunnel. Tom Savini's effects were freggin amazing. The gore is realistic... probably because they used real pig intestines. But the other effects are great as well.

    American Psycho
I believe this to be a classy movie. It isn't as good as the book, and you can definately tell that this movie is a satire upon itself... meaning the book was a satire of the 80's and wallstreet as well as serial killers... this some how pokes fun of the book it is based on. I love the performance from Christian Bale, and loved the music they chose!

    The thing
John Carpenters the thing was not only filled with crazy ellaborate effects, but as you watched it... you could feel what John was trying to push onto the viewer, and again that is paranoia. It is a very tense, edge of your seat horror film, and the effects are amazing... unlike some of this new cgi stuff. Don't get me wrong... I like cgi when it is done right... but... some movies just add it in there when it is not needed, or they just quickly add a cgi monster and it looks like shit. I love good old practical effects. Kurt Russell does an outstand performance, and the soundtrack is haunting.

    My life
One of the only movies to actually make me cry. Michael Keaton plays a cancer patient about to have a child... and that is all i am saying. It is a really good movie, and very sad.

    The Punisher
not the original... but the 2004 remake... the new one I loved a well. Thomas janes portrays the punisher, in which to me is very realistic. He isn't some large beefed up guy, but he does has tone to him. I know people who are fans of the comic really don't like it due to John Travolta playing a villian but... I think for an action movie, trying to remake an origin for the punisher, I thought it was great. I loved the cast, and the feel of the atmosphere. The little bit of gore it had in it was good. And Carlo siliottos soundtrack was amazing.

    Grindhouse
Both movies were just fun to see... they had great directors behind them, and there was a lot of gore! I love 70's exploitation films, and was glad tarantino helped bring that feel back to people who never got to expierence them in a theater such as myself. It is sad they won't be making any new ones... but I will keep my fingers crossed.

Wow i feel like a dork. But I love films.

Death Proof is a good recent horror/killer film movie from Quentin Tarrentino. The killer picks on women, but the women get their revenge at the end. Lot's of good car crash and racing scenes... This movie was from the Grindhouse pair.

Sunshine is a good recent Sci Fi movie about Scientists an a mission to reignite the sun with a nuclear weapon. This film is very impressive. I think the Title may have made the movie get underrated.
