Well first you couldn't swim through there because its now buried by about 200 feet of mud.
And yes, she knew, like everyone who ever saw glen canyon before it was covered what was coming. Forget her name but she did nudes in the canyon to bring attention to what was happening.

Shooter got the privilege of being on one of the last trips through the canyon before it was flooded.

That's pretty cool Elliot, they make neat pendant's. There's a site in the California desert called Sharktooth Hill. It used to be ocean millions of years ago and as the waters receded, sea life gathered there in the last of the water. Megalodons were eating whales, etc and then they all died and the Earth covered it all up. Today they dig up the old bones and Megalodon shark teeth.
I would love to go dig there. It's restricted but they open it up a few days a year for vistors. There is a fee involved but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than just buying one from a dealer.

 

Nice about Cal. Love to go there. the Teeth I find are small, I have seen the really large Sharks teeth in museums and on TV. I bought a trilobite about 30 years ago, Maybe its real maybe not.

Yep , seen them many many times , several pods hang round here quite often.
But remember I've been at sea a lot for decades , since very young.

Yes very cool. Your a lucky guy . We have and abundance of bottlenose dolphin ,here. You almost can't go to the beach without seeing them now . if you're in the ocean they will follow your boat and ride the waves I love that ,I have great videos of that and there babies who are really cool. I wonder if people realize how big a bottlenose dolphin is the are very large . And the babies seem to be 3 feet long we love seing them

 

What a sight i wish all could see that in real life . We are lucky to work on the water .

We will never know .
For one thing , everything we'll ever see , will at least appear to be in our universe.

Also , because you could look at it from absolutely anywhere at any angle , you could create any picture . and point to a spot and say ,
• "that is where our galaxy is".

No one will ever know if it is correct.

None of that detracts from the marvel of it though ,
