A distasteful fake news story got a partisan makeover when it was passed from one disreputable web site to another.

The disreputable web site YourNewsWire.com published yet another fake news article on 8 October 2017, this time claiming that a democratic principal in Springfield, Ohio, had been arrested after defecating on his desk during the Pledge of Allegiance:

This story is a near-verbatim copy of a fake news article that appeared on WorldNewsDailyReport.com, a well-known purveyor of misinformation, in September 2017. The one notable change Your News Wire made to this work of fiction was the addition of the “Democrat” detail...

Regardless of political affiliation, this story simply isn’t true. Although Your News Wire has a long history of publishing misinformation, they do not carry a readily available disclaimer labeling their content as fiction. But World News Daily Report, where this story originated, does:

So what you're saying @Distant Lover is that this story about a school principal defecating in front of hundreds of students during the pledge of allegiance is full of shit.

 

Maybe there were two cases of it happening or not happening.
One took a shit on a desk and the other in the playground.
Maybe it is some sort of gang initiation.

 

@AyaLaRoux..... if you insist on continuing to show your ignorance by defining soldiers as murderers then March on sister. I have yet to find a dictionary that defines a soldier in the way you do. You really need to shut your mouth because you are insulting my family members & some very close friends by calling soldiers murderers. You were asked if soldiers that haven't killed anyone were murderers, but you haven't answered the question. It's a very simple question.

 

There's a difference between "soldiers are murderers" and "ALL soldiers are murderers". One is about a class of people, the other one is about all individuals in that class. Obviously, all soldiers aren't murderers, but it's not for lack of trying, really. One thing they all have in common is that they signed up for a service to (potentially) become murderers, which is reprehensible in itself.

Sorry Ridge. I wanted to watch it all the way through but just couldn't stand the sound of the man's voice.
I can't say if I agree or did agree. Just something about a man who talks and looks like him makes me want to bitch slap him.
