Good for them. Still doesn't change what happened. Why these people feel they have the right to interfere in other people's lives, is the point of this. They go to clinics for the purposes of berating these women and doctors. Very Christian! Let her who be without sin... They will continue and they will become more aggressive.

That anyone could think a 72 year old man would inflict any real harm, he must be related to the Hulk!

And your opinion is pointless, other than a personal attack.

It's also interesting that you support using children as political pawns. I'm not surprised.

Given that pro abortion groups are more than willing to resort to arson, bombing, and violence aimed at Supreme Court justices, pushing a 72 year old man hardly seems worthy of a full force FBI raid, does it? Especially when local officials had already declined to prosecute.

And yes, Shooter is fully aware that pro life activists have and will continue to use violence and lawlessness to further their agenda. It only underscores the fact that in the face of ongoing fire bombings, arsons, high level cyber attacks and a willingness to take lives, pushing an old man hardly justifies a full court press raid by the FBI, does it?

It's tragic Americans no longer trust the FBI, but why would Trump make it so easy for the Biden administration to weaponize the FBI?

He could have avoided all the Mar Lago trouble by not illegally removing records from the White House, diminished the trouble by giving them back when caught. For some reason, Trump decided about 100 classified documents were worth risking a prison sentence.

Of course, prison never occurred to Trump. Whether it's sexual assault or bank fraud, Trump never expects consequences for his actions. He pays people to see it never happens. Lawyers used to love this kind of work. You sit down with another lawyer, come up with a number, Trump falsified a receipt for a business expense, and everyone gets a check. Easy work until the other lawyer is a US attorney. It's weird to see criminality so stupid, the attorneys end up indicted.

The really bizarre thing is how many unpaid people work so hard to help Trump meet his expectations. What's in it for them?

Some things never change. No one will defend Trump and say he did not commit a crime, or multiple crimes. All they can offer is the same teary eyed whining about how easy Trump made it to got caught.

Trump again floats claim of FBI 'planting' documents even after special master demanded he put up real proof

Former President Donald Trump is once again floating baseless claims that the FBI "planted" documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, even though the special master that he requested has told him he needs to show concrete proof to back up such claims.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump linked to months-old posts by conservative columnist Paul Sperry in which he implicated FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten in purported nefarious activity related to the search and seizure of top-secret government documents at Mar-a-Lago.

"Is Auten 'planting' or removing documents?" Trump asked while linking to the post. "We'll never know."

Trump then linked to another weeks-old Sperry post and used it as a platform to yet again attack the FBI.

IN OTHER NEWS: Stewart Rhodes had contact with supportive Secret Service agent: former Oath Keepers member

"The Rank and File in the FBI is disgusted and embarrassed at the criminal activity going on within the once great FBI -- including 'covering' for crooks and scoundrels," wrote the twice-impeached former president. "The Public is angry!"

Late last month, special master Raymond Dearie told Trump's lawyers that they needed to produce real evidence that the FBI planted documents in an attempt to frame him, as he told them to "submit a declaration or affidavit that includes... a list of any specific items set forth in the Detailed Property Inventory that Plaintiff asserts were not seized from the Premises on Aug. 8, 2022."

Likelihood of DOJ proving Trump's guilt is 'very high' now that he's been 'caught red-handed': legal expert

Speaking with MDSNBC host Ali Velshi on Saturday, former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade suggested that the Department of Justice's case against Donald Trump for obstruction is growing by the day, making it much more likely investigators will be able to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Reacting to reports that the former president is suspected of still holding onto sensitive government documents that the DOJ is trying to get back, the attorney said the former president is increasing his legal peril with each passing day.

'Why is he more worried about this and he seems to be about the other things that he is embroiled in?" host Velshi prompted about the documents believed to contain sensitive intel information.

"This one seems to be one that is really difficult to get out from under because he's caught red-handed," McQuade replied. "In so many of these other cases, proof of a crime requires knowledge and intent. I think Donald Trump is savvy enough not to use email and so it could be very difficult to prove that level of knowledge and intent."

RELATED: Trump plotted to trade Mar-a-Lago files for 'sensitive documents' about his 2016 campaign Russia ties: report

"With regard to these documents, just having them gets you about 90 percent of the way there," she elaborated.

"The other piece of it is just showing that he knew they were there," she continued. "I think his own admissions have demonstrated that he did know they were there and there are statements about 'I declassified them,' 'the FBI planted them,' I think has acknowledged his knowledge that he had them there."

"I think the likelihood of being able to prove that he is guilty is very high," she continued. "The penalties for this, one of the charges is obstruction of justice, is 20 years in prison. So the consequences are also very high here. It is easier to get your arms around as the proof is very simple. He had these documents and willfully retained them and that is illegal and I think, for good reason, he is very concerned about being charged and convicted of a crime here."

Trump said the FBI found classified documents at his home because federal workers packed them. But emails Bloomberg got show boxes were already packed when movers arrived.

    • Bloomberg News got emails with information about boxes packed during Trump's White House move.

    • Trump said the FBI found classified documents at his home because federal workers packed them.

    • But the emails, with the GSA, show the boxes were already packed when the movers arrived.
President Donald Trump's boxes may have already been packed when movers arrived at the White House after his election loss, according to emails and documents that Bloomberg News obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Trump previously and publicly said one of the reasons the FBI found classified documents at his Palm Beach, Florida, estate, Mar-a-Lago, when it was searched on August 8 was that federal workers had packed the boxes.

"They packed them," Trump told the Fox News host Sean Hannity late last month.

Kash Patel, a former defense official for Trump who handled his presidential records with the National Archives and Records Administration, also said during a radio-show appearance on August 15, just days after the FBI executed its search warrant, that federal workers from the General Services Administration packed the boxes.

"They're the ones that packed up and moved these documents," Patel said of the administration on "The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show." "It's not like President Trump put them in his briefcase and hopped aboard Air Force One on January 20 and said, 'OK, I'll see you guys later.'"

But Bloomberg's Jason Leopold and Jack Gillum reported Wednesday that the email correspondence between the General Services Administration and Trump's operations team told a different story.

According to the documents Bloomberg obtained, Mark Meadows, Trump's then-chief of staff, signed an agreement on January 11, 2021, laying out the guidelines for both Trump and then-Vice President Mike Pence to use Mar-a-Lago as a "temporary office space" for six months. The agreement also allotted $2 million for Trump and $520,000 for Pence so they could acquire "office space, furniture, shipping costs and other expenses," the documents say.

Trump aides used kitchen space and resort rooms at Mar-a-Lago and GSA-provided office space in Arlington, Virginia, to process and appraise gifts for the National Archives, requiring at least 100 boxes at one time, Bloomberg reported.

The documents show that in April 2021, Desiree Thompson Sayle, the correspondence director for the Office of Donald J. Trump, emailed the GSA, asking what she described as a "weird" question: "Does GSA work with a contractor for interstate shipping? We have a portrait of President Trump and it needs to be shipped to FL, but in its crate it is 300 lbs, 6 x 8 feet."

Kathy Geisler, a GSA facilities manager, responded that the painting was considered "personal property," meaning it was not eligible to be shipped using taxpayer dollars, the documents show.

Another GSA spokesperson made it clear that its contract solely covered shipping and not packing. The documents show that the spokesperson told Trump's office, "The outgoing transition team was responsible for putting the boxes on pallets and shrink-wrapping each pallet."

Bloomberg reported that another email sent in July 2021 shows Thompson Sayle informing the GSA that the first pallet of boxes was ready for shipment, with it weighing in at 598 pounds.

One email shows Thompson Sayle sending the GSA multiple pictures of boxes stacked on pallets, wrapped in cellophane, and ready for shipment to Florida.

But here's the key question. Were these "document boxes" shipped to MAL the ones that held classified records the FBI retrieved? We just don't know from these records and neither does GSA. But the pallets had the same type of bankers boxes FBI took from MAL

Trump sounded 'guilty and scared' during his latest rally rant: Former federal prosecutor

Former federal prosecutor Joyce Vance found former President Donald Trump's recent rant at his rally to be very telling, as she believes he sounded "guilty and scared."

Over the weekend, Trump railed against the investigation into his hoarding of top-secret government documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, and he strangely tried to implicate the late former President George H.W. Bush for purportedly also endangering national security.

"George H.W. Bush took millions of documents to a former bowling alley and a former Chinese restaurant where they combined them," Trump told rallygoers. "So they're in a bowling alley-slash-Chinese restaurant."

Reacting on Twitter, Vance argued that this latest Trump ploy reeked of desperation.

READ MORE: Herschel Walker represents a new low for GOP -- 'even more than the Access Hollywood tape': Morning Joe

"In my experience as a prosecutor, people say stuff like this when they're guilty and scared," she wrote.

In a lengthier analysis of Trump's legal situation posted on her Substack page, Vance broke down new revelations that Trump told his lawyers to offer the government a deal in which he would return the top-secret documents they requested if they gave him other documents related to the investigation into his campaign's contacts with Russian operatives.

According to Vance, this will make it much easier for the Department of Justice to establish criminal intent, and will also make it inexplicable if Trump is not prosecuted.

"Not even Trump’s minions were foolish enough to raise the 'deal' with government officials, but, along with reporting Trump packed up boxes himself, it goes a long way towards establishing Trump knew what he had and knew he wasn’t entitled to have it," she wrote. "And all of this makes it still more likely that DOJ is going to have to prosecute the former president, whether it wants to or not, unless it wants to let the rule of law die on its watch."

New moves show Merrick Garland's indictment of Trump is 'inevitable': analysis

    Brad Reed
    October 11, 2022

Donald Trump, Merrick Garland (Trump photo by Paul Richards for AFP, Garland photo by Brendan Smialowski for AFP)

Atlantic journalist Franklin Foer has been closely observing Attorney General Merrick Garland for months, and he now believes that a criminal indictment of the twice-impeached former president is "inevitable."

After offering a disclosure that he has no personal knowledge about whether Garland plans to indict Trump, he nonetheless thinks that the attorney general is preparing to press charges against him because his dedication to the rule of law leaves him with no choice.

"An indictment would be a signal to Trump, as well as to would-be imitators, that no one is above the law," Foer argues. "This is the principle that has animated Garland’s career, which began as the Justice Department was attempting to reassert its independence, and legitimacy, after the ugly meddling of the Nixon years."

Foer then recounts Garland's career at length, and in particular summarizes ample evidence that Garland is, at heart, an institutionalist who would ideally love to avoid indicting Trump and igniting a political firestorm that could lead to a new wave of political violence.

IN OTHER NEWS: Kevin McCarthy made GOP colleague cry after she told reporters truth about his Jan. 6 Trump call: book

However, he also argues that Trump's behavior has brought out a pugnaciousness in Garland that he had previously not seen.

"When Trump began to assail the search of Mar-a-Lago, Garland asked the court to unseal the inventory of seized documents, essentially calling out the ex-president’s lies," argues Foer. "Rather than passively watching attacks on FBI agents, whom Trump scurrilously accused of planting evidence, Garland passionately backed the bureau. As Trump’s lawyers have tried to use a sympathetic judge to slow down the department’s investigation, Garland’s lawyers have responded with bluntly dismissive briefs, composed without the least hint of deference."

Foer concludes by noting that while Garland will only indict Trump if he believes there is overwhelming evidence against him, he thinks that bar has been met and that the attorney general will act.

"Every time he’s asked about the former president, he responds, 'No one is above the law,'" he writes. "He clearly gets frustrated that his answer fails to satisfy his doubters. I believe that his indictment of Trump will prove that he means it."

'Fervent' Trump backer went to work for him and was 'quickly enmeshed in an obstruction investigation': NYT

    Brad Reed
    October 11, 2022

The New York Times on Tuesday reported more details about former One America News host and current Trump lawyer Christina Bobb's cooperation with federal law enforcement officials in their investigation into top-secret government documents that the former president stashed at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

As the Times notes, Bobb was a "fervent" believer in the false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump, and she went to work for him as an attorney soon after his tenure at the White House ended.

However, the Times notes that Bobb has now "quickly found herself enmeshed in an obstruction investigation" less than two years after she began her new career as a Trump lawyer.

In particular, the Times reports that Bobb was asked earlier this year by fellow Trump lawyer M. Evan Corcoran to sign a sworn statement claiming that she had overseen a "diligent search" of Mar-a-Lago and had recovered all files that the government had requested be returned to the National Archives.

RELATED: Now Trump is openly challenging the feds to indict him

Bobb, however, was suspicious of Corcoran, whom the Times writes was asking her to "take a step that neither Mr. Trump nor other members of the legal team were willing to take" by signing the document, and she subsequently insisted on adding a disclaimer stating that all requested documents had been returned "based upon the information that has been provided to me."

Nonetheless, two of the Times' sources say the experience left a bad taste in her mouth and that she "later complained that she did not have a full grasp of what was going on around her when she signed the document."

Her suspicions about being asked the sign the document without a disclaimer were seemingly vindicated when the FBI executed a search warrant of Mar-a-Lago and found multiple top-secret documents were still at the resort.

That is another totally false statement @the Farm Boy a product of your own bias and ignorance. President Obama had a historically low turn over in his administration. They all worked together well with little to no drama and many are still friends. And if President Biden is anything its probably being too loyal even to Trump holdovers that I think need to be fired but he keeps them on the job anyway. But that is a lot easier when the president is telling the truth and not committing crimes.

Its when the president is a pathological liar, mentally ill, and criminal like Trump where people loyal to him have to get thrown under the bus to cover his ass.

DOJ 'pulverizes all of Trump's arguments' in 'utterly devastating' SCOTUS filing: legal experts

    Bob Brigham
    October 11, 2022

The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday responded to Donald Trump's request for the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents case.

"The U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday asked the Supreme Court to reject former President Donald Trump's bid to again empower an independent arbiter to vet classified records seized from his Florida home as part of his legal battle against investigators probing his handling of sensitive government records," Reuters reported. "Trump filed an emergency request on Oct. 4 asking the justices to lift a lower court's decision to prevent the arbiter, known as a special master, from vetting more than 100 documents marked as classified that were among the roughly 11,000 records seized by FBI agents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach on Aug. 8."

DOJ argued there were three key flaws in Trump's arguments.

Harvard Law's Laurence Tribe, who has argued three-dozen cases before the Supreme Court, was among the legal experts analyzing DOJ's filing.

RELATED: Here’s what the latest DOJ filing means for the Trump document case – according to a former federal prosecutor

"The Justice Department’s response opposing the emergency application Trump’s legal team filed in the Supreme Court, with a stopover in Justice Clarence’s chambers, is utterly devastating," Tribe tweeted. "It pulverizes all of Trump’s arguments and leaves none standing."

Attorney Luppe Luppen of the popular @nycsouthpaw account wrote, "with a new filing at SCOTUS, we get to read what the Solicitor General’s office thinks of Judge Cannon’s order appointing a special master to review the Mar-a-Lago search. Not much!"

MSNBC legal analyst Lisa Rubin posted a thread, writing, "I've read DOJ's brief opposing Trump's emergency request for relief so you don't have to. DOJ nicely swats away the legal thrust of Trump's argument -- that the appellate court lacked pendent jurisdiction."

Rubin explained, "what interests me is whether DOJ refuted any of Trump's factual allegations with its own narrative. While it could have addressed Trump's insistence that all of the classified docs were sent to Mar-a-Lago *before* his presidency was over, it didn't. And the reason, says DOJ without raising that or any other particular 'fact' Trump offered, is that it doesn't matter. Even a purportedly declassified document can't be his personal property and can't be the subject of any attorney-client privilege. It's still a 'red herring.'"

READ: Legal experts: Russia link to Trump documents means it's a matter of 'when, not if' he is indicted

"That doesn't mean DOJ didn't take some swipes at Trump. Swipe 1: Trump can't claim he's allowed 24/7 access to documents under the PRA because having never returned them to the National Archives, he's basically forfeited the right to invoke the Presidential Records Act," Rubin noted. "Swipe 2: Trump insists he's declassified everything in public, but he's 'never represented in any of his multiple legal filings in multiple courts that he in fact declassified any documents -- much less supported such a representation with competent evidence.'"

"Swipe 3 (in a footnote!): Trump used to yammer about executive privilege--but not recently. That's probably because it doesn't exist vis a vis other executive branch agencies -- e.g., DOJ -- but even if it did, we've proven an urgent need for the stuff," Rubin added. "And swipe 4? If he wants 'emergency' relief, he has to show he's likely to win on the merits and that he's being irreparably harmed. He didn't even try."

"So nothing especially new or sexy, but a clear, highly competent brief that feels a little like a veteran kindergarten teacher calmly correcting a naughty kid," Rubin concluded.

Speed-reading my way through the Justice Department's response to Trump's emergency petition to the Supreme Court with @JohnBerman on #TheLead. DOJ said there is no basis for SCOTUS to step into this dispute at this stage. Now it's wait and see if SCOTUS gives Trump what he wants

Your parroted false propaganda is really stale and beyond laughable to pathetic by now because that's all you've got.

With the Republicans saying before the trial in the Senate, that they would acquit without calling any witnesses...

Now that one is funny and true. Trump says he can declassify things with just his mind. But his lawyers won't even say he declassified any of those documents in court. They won't even bring it up. Trump can lie to his cult followers all he wants. But his lawyers know better than to lie in court.

Most, certainly not all, Republicans did not become treasonous conservative/America Hating/Re;publicans on J6. For a brief moment they even admitted the truth. Trump had instigated an armed insurrection and the first attempted coup in American history. Then Trump threatened to start his own party and for their own will to power they turned traitors to the United States of American and every great thing it has ever stood for. They kissed his ass and sucked Trump's dick and have been treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans ever since.

And we see them here every day.
